Was gonna hunt shiny gardevoir with the method, but as I was clearing out the outbreak, a shiny alpha zoroak spawned, so I’m happy.

Well guess im trying this again with perfect entry i did it without.
I've been hunting a shiny Steelix and Goodra in the Coronet Highlands for ages, and it just so happens, thanks to this method I catch them BOTH IN THE SAME DAY. This method is a godsend!
Since this method came out, I've successfully pulled this off NINE TIMES for these Pokémon in order!

Nice vid! I have to emphazise that Unown cant be hunted with this method, for those that are interested on it. For some reason the game dont want us to get Shalpha Unowns

Got a Shiny Alpha Raichu today! Only took nine resets! This method works y'all! It also helps a bit when you perfect that Pokemon's dex page to increase the odds of the static alpha to appear shiny. Using the method again, I also got a Shiny Alpha Rhyperior as well. Working on Gardevoir right now.
Is it perfecting the dex page or just getting it to level 10? I've heard both
@@starkeeper_youtube At the very least get it to level 10 for all or you won’t get the Shiny Charm. Perfecting that mon’s page greatly increases your chances.
The eevee in the obsidian fieldlands can also be shiny using this method. Try to get a massive mass outbreak where eevee and bidoof spawn together. Near in the hill near the pond and tree. Clear the outbreak and save. You either get a shiny bidoof or a shiny eevee. Ive gotten my first shiny eevee with this method. It aint easy but it works.

I enjoy shiny hunting in this game but the sos shiny hunting method in ultra sun and moon will always be my favourite method honestly that’s just me though :)

No it doesn't. I was shiny hunting an alpha Ninetales, shiny charm and perfected entry and it took me almost 500 map resets to finally get it shiny.
been using this method to try and get my first shiny Alpha. no Alpha yet but it did get me a shiny Yanma that I wasn't trying to get so it def works

Tried this today and around my 25th attempt at finding a shiny alpha staravia I found a shiny buizel 10 feet nearby :)

What I don't get is WHY can't the alpha Mamoswine in the Alabaster Iceland be hunted like this? It's displaced during MMOs & respawns once they're cleared out, saved & reloaded. It follows all the requirements & yet can't be SR'd.
Tried this method, all it got me was a single regular gligar. Took me 12 hours to get that gligar. I have 2 static shiny alphas from the re-zoning method tho

I just started trying this and I save right in the spot where the Garchomp is and probably should’ve walked to a slightly safer spot first lol.
I'm trying it with perfect record Garchomp (no charm) and it's still taking me days. Hope you have better luck than I do

After I learned of this method I also did try Rhyperior spot for fun. turns out it was the right call since I found the shiny alpha in 6 resets pog

I did this a while ago for my alpha shiny gardevoir, only took me two days but I’ve been trying this for gligar and it’s been a week😭

I've only found 2 Alpha shinies so far, Buneary and Abra; both are now fully evolved

So soft resetting, but only if a massive mass outbreak is cleared first?
Does anyone know if the mmo spawn have to be directly over the alpha? I did it with Floatzel but gave up after over 100 resets🙃 The spawn was to the right of him, but he still wasn't there until I saved after clearing them.

I’m sure I’m late to throwing names in for the Pokémon.. but it feels like an Abigail. Abigail is so unassuming and then boom, a power house 💪
So if you wait till the MMO to be over you can use this method with the sunny pokemon like Rapidash. You should clear it out still then just wait for the storm to pass
Unfortunately Rapidash can not be hunted with this method 😔 feel free to try it your self but I have tested this method with Rapidash several times and can confirm that Rapidash spawn works differently since it's ALWAYS the same Rapidash every time I reset and load up the game! Yeah it sucks I know but I have still got 5 other Shalpha Pokémon with this method including my long awaited Alakazam 😁

when i went for shiny alpha rhyperior i came across 4 shiny chimecho's ( i have 3 in my box already lol) and 2 shiny electrode's. 538 resets later i finally got it! (shiny charm but not perfect dex)

Assuming that you would have caught the Chimecho, would you still be able to save again to get the shiny Rhyperior?
if she saved after catching the chimecho the rhyperior that was there gets set in stone. the randomness works because the rhyperior wasn't there when the save happened.
This works for Unown also. Must have outbreak in ruins for it to work.

Been working on Gardeviour for about 5 days now with this method it’s working cause it changes gender but well over 500 resets in w/ perfect dex and shiny charm and I’m wondering if maybe it’s just not in this spawn table don’t know if I should get a new save or keep tryin. Anyone got advice
I got shiny alpha gardevoir after 2-3 days of doing this method. But I’ve been trying for gligar for over week now so idk😭 it definitely works but it’s still luck!

(Cut to the end for TDLR) Hey everyone, another finding over here from just a little testing- so, I’m gonna assume you’re like me reading this. You tried this, confident, went for ten mins or so and, somewhat tentative of the internet’s validity (we all know it can be deceiving at times) I tried catching a random spawn, a regular little Petilil (who was spawning in anew each time, like the alpha) right beside me a few times… only to find it kept having exact same details, stats, nature, effort points. Total bummer.
So I’m visiting various videos (I’ll comment this on each of them) and came here to see if it’s a common problem, AND! Then caught a few iterations of my targeted Alpha, who was de-spawned by the MMO and is spawning anew each reset.
So, yes this is really weird, but to my relief, the Alpha IS different each time! Different genders, stats, effort values and natures. This is despite the random Petilil beside me (and a couple Goomy, who kept being female, odd for 50/50 species) being the exact same.
It’d perhaps need some more testing, but for now I’m just gonna say this, it’s important: keep a good distance from your alpha spawn. Don’t stand next to it when it spawns in, although you’d be brave to do so anyways lmao. For reference, I am standing approximately 35 “steps” away (as denoted by me, in my reset spot, and placed flag right where this alpha spawns).
Still a bit confused as I’ve seen people get surrounding random Shinies through the resets as well as Alphas, and I’m a little sad it seems to might not happen for me, but hey- I spent a good hour just setting up for this alpha so, frankly, not too bothered. I’m gonna go back to it now and hopefully get a golden sliggy slimy goo baby :)

TDLR- KEEP AT LEAST 35 STEPS AWAY (from my testing, see above) FROM YOUR TARGETED ALPHA, SPAWNING IN AFTER MMO. TEST CATCH A FEW OF THEM, AND IF YOU WANT TO CATCH REGULAR/NON-STATIC-ALPHA SURROUNDING SPAWNS, SOME OF THEM, TO ENSURE THEY ARE UNIQUE SPAWNS (gender, if applicable, nature, stats and effort values) BEFORE HUNTING.

So the outbreak has to be actually replacing the alpha, if the outbreak is just near the spawn and doesn’t replace it it won’t work

I must be extremely unlucky. I was doing Mothim and you cant check the gender for mothim as it is 100% male. Im now at 1k resets with no Mothim. I checked the stats 3 times in a row and they were the same each time but I have followed the instructions perfectly. Im just super unlucky xD
Has anyone else tried using this method on the Alpha Chansey in the Coast Lands? I've done it about twice and haven't been able to see a shiny Chansey. It's nature and stats change each reset but I've done a little over 2,000 resets and have seen zilch.
I keep returning to this video and another because I'm trying to find out what are the odds for doing this method. I assume they're based on your Pokédex completion for the Pokémon you're hunting and the shiny charm which, I've already gone and prepared by perfecting Chandey's Dex and acquiring the shiny charm. So my odds should be 1/585 if I'm not mistaken.
I'm sure that if I stuck with my hunts I'd get results but I'm just a bit perplexed because every other time I've tried this method, it yielded results within a couple hundred resets. The only other time I've done nearly 1,000 resets using this method was when I hunted the alpha Garchomp in the Icelands and tbh, I phased around 530+ resets and after perfecting the Dex for Garchomp I found it some 300+ later.

Currently I'm doing the alpha staravia.
For those who may not know Mamoswine does not working despite having its spawn point interrupted by a MMO
You can use the tent/sleep trick (seen it on a vid in YT).
Basically KO the alpha, go to the tent. Sleep til evening, sleep til night, sleep til morning. It should respawn. Rinse and repeat til shiny. And like this trick, the sex of the alpha changes, so you know it’s working.
