I Caught EVERY SHINY Starter Pokémon in the Indigo Disk!

- Every single Starter Pokemon is in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so OBVIOUSLY I did a shiny hunt for all of them- except I hunted for three of each to complete the evolutionary line! That's 81 shiny pokemon, all hunted for in the last two months! I hope you enjoy the journey that is this shiny compilation of sorts!

Something we can all agree on is that totodile and cyndaquil are nightmares to shiny hunt…
Chikorita was worse. Way too many grass pokemon in the same area
Cyndaquil was fine for me. Someone surprise traded me a totally non hacked one with perfect stats
Im scared to hunt them tbh
I will try for Cyndaquil when I have a outbreak but totadile wasn't the worst, I think chikorita is also a pain in the butt cause of the multiple grass types spawning, I got with one sandwich a alolan exeggutor and a deerling but not a chikorita so I stopped

I picked Scorbunny when I played Shield too. He was a great member of the team -- and since I don't use Pokémon Home, I basically recreated him using the mightiest mark Cinderace after obtaining it from the event. I named him Torchfoot.

The fact that you caught them all is inspiring! It took me months just to get the entire Chimchar family in Legends Arceus, including the Alpha Infernape! It's a such a satisfying feeling when you finally get those sparkles! ✨

This video was a lot of fun! Something I've been doing is finding pokemon that have "thematic" marks. That give them a title that is in line with their design. It took a lot of effort, but I finally got a An alolan vulpix who is a snow frollicker. It took a lot of doing, but since you are in scarlet, that's one you could do. Though I wish your eyes luck. Since I'm sure you're aware it's white and off-white on a white background.
There's the new method for the Minior, which is actually great for pokemon like vulpix too!
Another one that's hard to get but kinda neat is the "Misty" weather mark. Which is only attainable when you are near the boundry for the edge of the map in kitikami.
I've hunted a little while for a misty marked mienfu, but no luck. Though I did get an Eevee back when Eevee outbreaks were a thing! She's my pride and joy right now! Since at the time of writing, you cannot catch an eevee in Kitakami to get this mark, as far as I am aware.

As I was watching this I was shiny hunting for Litten, and at about 18 minutes into my hunt I found the little lad. Litten was my first ever Pokemon in a game, so getting him in shiny form really meant a lot! Thank you for your vids, they really encourage me to keep on hunting even if the going might be slow❤❤❤

Now I know why there's still tutorials saying to lower a pokemon's hp in order to catch it at the beginning of the game. People would rather brute force it than false swipe it apparently.
This is how I learned the best method to hunt Cyndaquil. It was giving me such a hard time when I first tried it that I just quit.

My favorite shiny is for Chikorita! It may not be the fanciest shiny, but I was able to reset for it as my actual starter in heart gold, and it and its evolutions give such nice fall vibes. Also it’s just nice having a shiny pokemon follow you around all game,
I know you give a part of your sanity for these videos Catherine, but i find them so calming i can't even tell you. Feels like you give part of your sanity to everyone watching if that's any consolation lmao :) please keep doing what you're doing :)

Fennekin and it's evolutions are definitely my favorite line of shiny starters and I think a lot more starters should get darker/black shinies as from what I've noticed most shiny starters just change to a slightly lighter color
I feel your pain on the Shiny Fuecoco hunt. I wanted a Shiny Skeledirge with Unaware for one of my playthroughs. And it took around 2000 eggs to get it.
