Thanks for the info good video, question, there is an option to input the information of my wifi network mannually, for example if the network is hidden?
One question... if I want to use ethernet cable backhauling, shall I select "AP Mode" instead of "AP + Client"? And then connect this device to another router via Ethernet cable. Thanks!
Thank you for the video, i just purchased the ax3000 to replace an old tplink ac750 but located in the same place, the tplink send 50mb of signal and the Tenda, less than 28mb... very sad about that purchase..
Hi, I followed your very clear instructions. I managed to configure everything but when I finally try to connect to the new network created it says "internet connected not available".
Hi, well explained. The only issue I see with this setup is the Tenda will repeat the wifi signal of your router, it that one is already weak it will lose lots of bandwith. Is there a way the Tenda will get the internet connection from a cabled LAN connection to the OG router and extend it without double nating?
Hi, thank you for your informative video. I'm playing around with this on my Tenda router, wondered if there is a reason why you chose the tenda 5g WiFi band to use? Thx in advance.
Got this working but I'm having problems getting into extender router access page as I'm using a tenda router as my main router also. Think they are conflicting
The TX2 Pro version does not have that Repeater+AP mode, thanks for the video, now I know that I have to buy the RX2 Pro model... If you could tell me how that router has behaved as a repeater over the days, have you kept testing it? you like me?
Yes, I tested it in Extender mode and it works fine. I am releasing a video on this this Thursday. Here's it's link, it is for members now but will be public this Thursday: ua-cam.com/video/rtzcLvOpuoU/v-deo.html
@@KnowledgeSharingTech hello, I love ur videos but I have a question, do u know if this router can use with VPN? Can u do a video explain it how to conect it! Thank u
When the Wi-Fi signal is weak, then the connection speed drops. This repeater node doesn't make the Wi-Fi faster per say, but it boosts the Wi-Fi signal.
If you use the same SSID/password for the extender and the main router won't this give clients that roam between AP's a smoother connection and remove the need to have multiple SSID's in the clients WiFi list?
No, using the same SSID without an intelligent Mesh system is not recommended. Here's an example: If you have the same SSID, and you connect a device to it, you will not know to what router you are connecting, so you might be connecting to the farthest one. Now if you have 2 different SSIDs, you will know what one is nearer to the location of your router and you will connect to this router.
@Knowledge Sharing Tech yes but the client doesn't need to know which router it's connected to it just wants the strongest signal? If the client is roaming, won't it disconnect from one AP when the signal is too low to maintain a connection and reconnect a router with a stronger signal?
Hgo todos los pasos y peerrfecto pero en el último carga al 100% y ahí se queda, el router con la luz parpadeando en rojo y la ventana espere 90 segundos en el pc. Qué rabia!
I switched to client + AP mode and followed all the steps but my router has stuck while rebooting (percentage showing 100% but red light is still blinking) what to do ? 😢

Big thanks :) I was searching for router which extends 5G wifi network and I found :)
Glad I could help
Thank you! My main router has VoIP, configured by ISP, so if I go with Tenda for Wifi6 (AX), its just easier for me to add it as AP
felicidades! gracias from Mexico

How to connect wirelessly my old router as repeater to this Rx2 Pro ?
I can't find the settings.
FYI, my old router is Netgear wnr614.
Hi! Thanks for the video and explanation! I have a question. What it´s the difference between TX2 PRO and RX2 PRO? Which one it´s better?
Great video, wasnt sure if the tenda could be used as an extender as the instructions didnt cover it. will try this.
What is the diffrence between wisp mode and ,client plus Ap mode? Thanks
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it

Make sure you are connecting to the 5G band. Separate the 2.4G from the 5G ssid for this
@@KnowledgeSharingTech the device never detected my 5ghz Internet, so i did the test in both devices in the 2.4ghz net.
Very clear and simple Thank You
Glad you liked it
Will I need to connect my laptop with the Tenda router during this? My laptop does not have an ethernet connection.
Excellent video. Thank you very much 😊
You are welcome!

hello sear ... I want to ask you if this method will work for tenda model : d305 (modem router) ???
Thank you for this information sir.

Make sure to put the Tenda in a location that has good Wi-Fi coverage from the main router.

Hi, 5GHz is less prone to interference then 2.4GHz
Thx for your reply, still better to use 5ghz than mixed band? I'm wanting optimal speed connecting to router downstairs
