Living With a Nissan 370Z as a Daily Driver | Is it Right for you?

- I wanted to make this video in order to share what it’s like owning a Nissan 370Z as a daily driver! I also give a bit of a comparison and contrast to as how this Z car is different than my prior Nissan 350Z. I hope this video was helpful if you’re looking to make a decision on getting this vehicle for a daily driver :) Remember to like, comment and subscribe!
Late to the party but as a two time VQ owner, the 370Z still has so many positive qualities, even now:
- they're literally almost idiotproof, you're always a short drive from a dealer
‐ fewer sports cars can routinely hit 200K miles on the original block and parts, and keep running
- it's still faster than a solid 75% of everything currently on the road, and thats way WAY more than enough
- you can literally take it cross country with zero prep (I myself have taken my G37 from VA to TX two different trips, two years, only requirement was an oil change)
Aww that’s too cool you’ve owned a few of these before too! I don’t have the Z anymore since I needed to upgrade to a larger vehicle that’s more practical to be able to fit my dogs and family in, I sure do miss this ride though!
I just got my first 370Z a week ago and Im MORE in love with it than I thought I would be!

I love that you hit on suspension and ride quality right out of the gate. This is one of the most difficult objective measures to get from car reviews, and it’s a big deal for me (having owned some cars that felt punishing on rough roads.
I’ve had cars where I openly apologized to the passengers during the drive for the harshness.
But the pearl white paint juxtaposed with the dark window tinting? Glorious!

You’re very welcome! :) I’m so happy I was able to help! I now have a different Z lol much newer than this one and way nicer! Most recent video is of my new CBE system which sounds pretty good! The ride quality is super good for this being a RWD two seater sports car! Definitely doesn’t bounce you all over the place :) love love love the Z! On my third one lol I was in the same boat as you when I had my sti limited lol was rather jerky!

Do you think the 370Z would be good for cross country driving (2K miles one way)? Just maybe 1-2 times a year.
Most definitely from my experience with both of my Z cars! They were very reliable and never gave me any issues :)
Picked up my 09 370Z today I'm just getting used to the blind spot and 1st and 2nd gear lol thats my only cons
I don’t have this vehicle anymore, cost me way too much money to fuel it for my daily driver and the blind spots are absolutely terrible lol all you have are the mirrors to rely on. It was my second Z car though :)

@@abc_u_hater Gas cost me $55 the last time I filled up the tank at Costco! It’d cost me way more now that gas prices have shot way up!

None of the Zs do, not even the new 400Z does. Great question though! :)

@@philippeanglade7043 you’re so welcome! :) I love all the Z cars so much! I just wish my most recent one was a manual transmission lol definitely wouldn’t have sold it if it was! The new Z does has blind spot monitoring though which is awesome! Couldn’t imagine spending $60K on one though especially when they’re around $45K MSRP! Everything is getting so dang expensive :( very scary indeed!
@@ThatCarEnthuZiastBrittany haha I understand 😄 here in Europe prices have always been pretty high, 350Z & 370Z are available around same price on the used market, between 15k to 25k depending on condition and mileage. I’m still fighting to decide if I go for 350 or 370 😄
If u go grocery shopping can you fit everything in the car ?
That’s a great question! You could typically fit about four bags in the back hatch, however, the trunk space is extremely shallow so a lot of the times your groceries will be crushed or the trunk won’t be able to close all the way due to the height of the bags. Half of the time my groceries are driving as a passenger and are also sitting on the floorboards.

Sold it over a year ago! I have a 22 Jeep Rubicon now.
So what I want to know is how fast is is boy are we talkin charger fast are we talkin V-6 Charger fast because I had a chance to buy a 2015-1 like this and it was a turbocharged version if I'm not mistaken let me know anything you seem like a really solid channel in person I wish you'd kick that Cancer's ass back to where it came from
