I am a Cameo-holic since 1975 and some may not know that the leader of Cameo Larry Blackmon had suffered a stroke in 2017 and chose to come back as therapy to perform on tour with the group! We are witnessing a miracle to have the legend of Funk still around to give us a glimpse of what funk leadership was for over 40 years.

There's a great story about Larry Blackmon but we as people need to be more disciplined and be more responsible and constant of our health because I was looking at how big he is he's only 3 years older than me and he has got big and leaning over stomach and butt sticking out lot of times we start getting older we eat what we want and don't exercise and that's a No-No when you're young you are always usually active and we get older we stop getting active and that's when we start aging if you watch what you eat and exercise that is anti-aging and that's for all you want is watching this to read these comments is not being non-common it's just that we do not take care of yourself as a people weight loss against medicine so they can help us keep going to the drugstores putting money in their pockets instead of healing ourselves through proper nutrition in a healthy lifestyle
Whoa Nelly!! The drummer in this concert is MJ's legendary drummer! SUGARFOOT!! One of the best all time drummers, especially R&B and Pop. Johnathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett. Him and Larry Blackmon alone are worth the price of the ticket to this show. Not to mention all the members of CAMEO. So cool to see them together on stage. Music royalty!

Cameo’s real performance is a good example for how performers can be more effective than their own performances and how they perform in the audience of their own audiences than they were before they did when they were performing on stage
Y'all lay off Larry it's good to have funk bands still here because all the funk bands members is 60+yrs old somebody got to keep the funk going its 100%better than this crap we listen to in today's time.
Don't forget the Bar-Kays (James in his 70's and Larry Dodson before he retried a couple years ago in his 60's). But yes, all the YEARS we jammed to Cameo, these people need to lay off Larry Blackmon. As my mother says, if you're blessed, you MIGHT get to live that long.

He's old damn
He looks like he is about to fall out. He’s moving like a 70 year old. I am a huge cameo fan so there is definitely something off with him.
He had a stroke in 2017. Almost took him out. He is 62 in this video. I'm glad to see him still alive...he might cant dance around but his voice is still pretty!
Aaron is funking that bass up!! Tomi is klassic kool funky!!! We love us some Cameo!! Saw them this past summer 2023 at the Afrikan Festival of the Arts. Larry was struggling - but still they put on a kool show with most of the og's not present.
Thank you for fighting Mr Blackmen, I have a new respect for you. Cameo forever!
God bless Larry Blackmon and Cameo. Legends !!!!!
LEGENDS! Real Musik! Real Band! See, these overpaid young folks doing concerts no band singing over their own tracks need to see this! Classic & er’body knows every lyric!

You're welcome... We look forward to your attendance at this years Rochester Summer Soul Music Festival on August, 24th.
Hi Mr.Baiyina! I'm DJ Curt. Cameo's sound engineer.Could you please send me this video via wetransfer.com email please? I recorded this show and i wanna sync it with the video. It's far way better sound quality and i could send it back to you. djcurtmusic@gmail.com
Cameo’s real performance is a good example for how performers can be more effective than their own performances and how they perform in the audience of their own audiences than they were before they did when they were performing on stage
Algún día podré tener la ver a Cameo en vivo. Desde Perú, mi admiración y mi cariño a una banda que habido y es una de mis favoritas.
SCHOOL OF FUNK - YEAH
Always a Cameo fan.
Didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I've learned through a family member that were related . But have never met him
❤❤❤ da Italia
Y'all lay off Larry it's good to have funk bands still here because all the funk bands members is 60+yrs old somebody got to keep the funk going its 100%better than this crap we listen to in today's time.
Don't forget the Bar-Kays (James in his 70's and Larry Dodson before he retried a couple years ago in his 60's). But yes, all the YEARS we jammed to Cameo, these people need to lay off Larry Blackmon. As my mother says, if you're blessed, you MIGHT get to live that long.
@@tedreynolds6363 What a STRONG and REAL comment!! Damnit!! Dude!!
