Late to the party but The album 4 Unreleased demos (Monuments, These Buildings Are Burning) and Black Roses are phenomenal. Finch is so good at making excellent melodic music. Add a bit of scream here and there on certain tracks and you couldn’t ask for anything more. Ready for a 4th album. Love the prog groove on this one.❤🔥🎶🤘
It really speaks volumes when you see the band shitting on Nate specifically and tunneling all the blame. Whereas Nate's statements both written and in a video interview seem quite straightforward and sincere regarding it being an issue about creative differences and work ethic for making a new record. He's not pointing fingers the way that they are, everywhere you look it's been "Nate fucked up," "Nate left" blah blah. Things are almost never that simple so I have a hard time believing this. Guess it doesn't matter because I'm not in the band and don't know any of these guys personally, but people are not random and you can usually glean the truth from how they're acting. I mean these are great pop-punk songs but can you blame the dude for not wanting to write the same record over and over again? Back to Oblivion was close enough to being a WIITB sequel, can't really fault the guy for wanting to branch out, the key members of this band at it's creative peak don't seem to be on the attack anyways (r2k, nate obviously and marc allen who hasn't even been in the band for a decade).
Ryan Utterback and from a money-making perspective these songs would get them more money and more noticeable again than a SHTS rehash. It's more enjoyable to listen to whereas SHTS was alot of randomness going on.
@@scottbradshaw6317 SHTS was jarring when it first came out... but damn if it isn't one of my favorite albums of all time all these years later. It stands the test of time rather than being a WIITB2. The math rock drumming, every instrument shining through, the vocals being more guttural and angry, the imagery in the lyrics... it is one of the best post-hardcore albums that really didn't get the love it deserves. I'd argue releasing it after moving to Geffen hurt the band because Drive-Thru, while notorious for unfavorable deals with their bands, promoted bands of all sizes like no other.
awesome song. it was great to meet you all in New Haven last year. hanging out with Randy and drinking with him through the whole set of yellowcard was definitely an unforgettable experience. coolest dudes ever.
I've just gone back to find all my favourite bands of the past - over the last year or so, but these 3 demo's are mind blowing, sums up everything I loved about the genre - so much promise! Infact it tainted everything else I have listened to since
They forced a producer on the band for these couple tracks, the songs were co-written by someone who wasn't even in the band. So if you like these more than the demos then you like that producer more than what Finch naturally is. Plus these songs got polish whereas the demos haven't so in that regard it may be an unfair comparison.
I can't believe how ppl keep complaining. Just enjoy the music. yeah the situation sucks AGAIN. If you don't understand the dynamics of the relationships in bands then back off. shit happens. at least we got some music out of it
Honestly I’ve been in a couple of bands that had some issues, where every now and then we had to take a break and focus on other things, just to come back to the table, bury the hatchet, and put something new out there. It’s fucking emotionally exhausting to be in a situation like that though, and sometimes the toxicity of it all may leave you feeling like it’s not worth doing the dance again. I hope they can eventually resolve their differences again, and give us another great reunion tour, and some more amazing music. Maybe they’re better off as more of a part time band than a full time thing, who knows?
I'm with Nate on this. They aren't bad songs per say but they have absolutely zero of the Finch DNA in them. They might as well be from an entirely different band.
This is another 'what it is to burn" album. But honestly, its dull. I love the Unreleased tracks preferred by Nate more than this one. RIP Finch. Nate, I hope you can bring your music with a new band.
I'd say the two tracks the band released are a lot like What It Is To Burn, but the rest of the tracks (from Nate) have more of an experimental, SHTS vibe. That difference seems to be what drove the band members apart. Sad, but it happens. RIP Finch
DoctorEpIc465 stack all of nates demos and combine them for what they're worth and they still don't amount to this track and monuments , nate has made a terrible and regrettable decision. Hope for the sake of his talents that he comes to his senses and hope that finch let's him back in
Way late but the ones Nate released were intended to be the next album but the label said 'nah write some new songs with this producer' and these couple came out of that

Sounds of animals fighting was some pretty bamf tunes too

@@felicefitness Hard Disagree. I enjoy SHTS much more.

I love this song. I've been grooving to this track.
This guys need to make a comeback.

this was a mistake not to release this recors as official! this is a good level, probably best album since 'What It Is To Burn'!
i'd say that Nate was always more towards to Say Hello To Sunshine style of music, but unfortunately that album was never popular among fans.
The media said a lot of shit about that amazing album...
That's their best album. Forget all this uninteresting pop stuff.
@@CancerCleric the phantasma demos Nate released were way better
epic song.
listen to the demos nate posted, they are so much better. even the lyrics are better than this.
I 100% completely disagree! those Demos are terrible compared to these unreleased tracks.

You said it perfectly man.

una pena saber de su separación,,,tienen un fan en Venezuela mucha suerte en la nueva dirección que vayan a tomar
fuck i love this song but also love the demos nate posted. It's a shame they couldn't find some middle ground and stay together.
I agree.
Wish they would reunite
This is pretty fire. Reminds me of the Finch who was at its peak in 2002. Are these the tracks y’all made with the producer though?
I'm pretty sure Foo Fighters already released this song.
No. But Paramore did when they were 17 yrs old in the early 2000's.
please upload these in spotify 🙏

These new tracks are really good. Where can I purchase them?
Love this track!! amazing work guys! These 2 unreleased tracks here are already in my opinion better than the best track on BTO album.
Maybe for the best, that verse riff makes me think this was shaping up to be Hello to Sunshine 2...
I would love to have say hello to sunshine part 2
GET BACK TOGETHER
I'm enjoying both these demos and the ones Nate released but I'm confused how Nate had 9 demos and Finch only had three

it's a good song, but i can see why nate didn't want to put this out. this lacks so much of his punch and creativity
Amazing. When went mumford and sons went more rock they copied this sound like the track Wolf. FINCH is so so good
Doesn’t sound like finch lyrics.
They're not. The producer wrote this song.
New Finch sounds a lot like Cartel
RedCityFormat don't ever make such asinine comparison
I like Cartel. Who cares. If that offends you then so be it lol
RedCityFormat 1. Cartel sucks ass 2. They sound nothing alike 3. maybe you want to convince yourself that they sound like Cartel
These buildings from Finch Buildings? They are all from wood and they burn money more than you should like.
Who is this Paramore? This dated sound is over with.
Have a dislike.
