Late to the party but The album 4 Unreleased demos (Monuments, These Buildings Are Burning) and Black Roses are phenomenal. Finch is so good at making excellent melodic music. Add a bit of scream here and there on certain tracks and you couldn’t ask for anything more. Ready for a 4th album. Exactly the type of pacing I like in a ''slow'' or ''balady'' song. ❤🔥🎶🤘
@Mr_Der I love Finch, been listening to them since 2005 (I remember skipping school to listen to Say Hello to Sunshine). While I like this song, "Faster Now" fit the album so well, even as a demo. This would have been too different. You need to check out "World of Violence" and the other demos if you have not already. Also Phantasma is phenomenal.
we would have all been perfectly happy with a double album release. Like and Night and Day album from Finch. Nate gets to do his dark experimental stuff and you guys get your pop punk anthems and we ALL WIN BECAUSE ITS ALL FUCKING GOOD
Someone's comment brought me to these songs. Wow. Haven't listened to this band in over a decade and I have to say that these songs sound a amazing. Some are a nod to the Finch of yore, while others break new and interesting ground. A shame things fell apart yet again. Well, at least the demos made their way onto ol'Tube.
I think they might be back together again they've been posting studio pics on Instagram. They've been one of my favorite bands since 2002 this is my first time hearing this song. They have so many different styles on their songs
Unnerved by reason, I shake your tomb Our last bereavement, tangled in truth Bones break the season, mend me to you Dancing the dead man, dressed as the fool I hold black roses, colour the skies The earth below us, grows cold with time Etched in the moment, we’ll be the last Watching the dead man, hallow the past Now I feel, I’m nearly home Now I feel, I’m nearly home And now the wind whispers new life We are in bloom, we are alive Now I feel, I’m nearly home Now I feel, I’m nearly home Now I fell, I’m nearly home Now I fell, I’m nearly home
This is a great song, and so is the other one. It's a pity you guys can't get along as you obviously belong together. Nate has had his "experimental" third album, the people miss 2000s-era Finch :p

I think it's about time to get a new vocalist if you want to continue. As great a singer as Nate is, he obviously brings the band down and by now you should be one of the biggest bands there is, if it wasn't for him leaving twice before and having you guys go on hiatus, I'm sure you'd be there.
They were one of the biggest bands... back in 2003. The band obviously wanted a radio-oriented sound whilst Nate was leaning far more towards an experimental sound (a la Say Hello To Sunshine) and they split as a result. I personally enjoy the experimental side of Finch more, but I get why going for a mainstream appeal was more favored by most of the band. Rest in peace, Finch.

Wow these tracks are amazing!
This should've been on the BTO album, especially over some of tracks towards end of the album were no where near the quality of this one.
Hope Nate comes back asap
this shit is too good
Has a new age green day vine
sounds like Savage Garden
lyrics please :)
Unnerved by reason, I shake your tomb
Our last bereavement, tangled in truth
Bones break the season, mend me to you
Dancing the dead man, dressed as the fool
I hold black roses, colour the skies
The earth below us, grows cold with time
Etched in the moment, we’ll be the last
Watching the dead man, hallow the past
Now I feel, I’m nearly home
Now I feel, I’m nearly home
And now the wind whispers new life
We are in bloom, we are alive
Now I feel, I’m nearly home
Now I feel, I’m nearly home
Now I fell, I’m nearly home
Now I fell, I’m nearly home
WHAT DOES HE FEEL? HE SAYS NO I FEEL......???
He feels as if he's almost home, pretty straightforward lyric: "Now I feel I'm nearly home"

YES!

that is a terrible idea.
NO lol but that is a hilarious thought, the similarity is really thin but I can hear it haha.

They already are in a new band with Buddy Nielsen called Speak the Truth Even If Your Voice Shakes
Fuck you. No one can replace Nate in this band. Buddy sucks ass live. Good luck. Buddy can't hold a handle to Nate.
