Dawn, you told me about "The Silent Patient" I thought I had it on order? I'll read it! I've read a lot of Stephen Kings books that scares me to the trees! And his movies too! "It" 👈👀That book was scary!! I'm still scared of clowns because of it! 😢
I knew this was going to be the book !!! I learned about this book from you and I could not put it down , and yes my mind goes back to it often... I think I will read it again!!! thank you,,,,
I just recently finished that book this month ❤it was recommended to me by a nurse while I was in the hospital.❤it is a slow starting but it gets better in the last third of the book❤ Not one of my top 5, but worth the read.
I honestly haven’t read a full book in over 10 years ! I used to read when we went on vacation and sitting by a pool, ocean, our rv. I can’t really read at home. I’m too distracted by things I know I need to do. And I have 4 dogs and a cat and so many distractions. But I used to read a lot ! 😊
Start with small books with few pages. Or children’s books that are easy to read. It’s more important to create the habit to read. And then one day you start enjoy reading again!
I am trying to get back into reading, too. I usually read biographies and true stories, but I am going to try your suggestion for this book. Thank you. Love your new channel!
I'd like to mention "Hartshaven" by TJC Williams. Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle. It's in the fantasy genre, and is the author's debut novel. Hope it's okay to mention it here.
Read it. It was just ok for me. I love a good thriller and anything by BA Paris is always a win for me! Still working on The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah
I'm listening to an audiobook. Called Finding Tommorow by Denise Grover swanke and Christian Gael. I don't usually read these types of books but glad I am. It's very good.
Helter Skelter was a book that bothered me yet I couldn't stop reading until finished. I don't advise it for bed time reading while at the same time I'm not fully sure why it bothered me. I n 5th grade i went searching for Rebecca of Sunny Brooke Farm because I was advised that it was a book I should read; amd that it would be more age appropriate. Instead, I ended up with "Rebecca" by Dalphine DeMuir; I've probably spelt it wrong. It didn't take long for me to figure out that it probably wasn't the book recommended although when asked how I was liking Rebecca, I did say I was enjoying it. I found "The Shining" by Stephen Ki g to have spot on characters, plenty of thrilling descriptors, and plenty of twists.
Yes, re "The Shining!" Even a little humor in there as the father/author was only typing "It is the duty of all good men to work for jury pay" all the while, instead of some masterpiece! Overall, a very scary movie.
Agreed, i enjoyed it too!
The Silent Patient is amazing ❤
I agree
I'm usually not crazy about thrillers, but I'll see. It's an 18 week wait! Must be popular. 💕

I enjoyed “The Bosch Books” by Micheal Connolly. They also have a Series on Prime - so good!👍🏻😝
Good to know!
Yes! I don't have Netflix, but they have a series, The Lincoln Lawyer. It's based on Mickey Haller, another character in the Bosch series.
Loved the silent patient! I read it twice.
I am trying to get back into reading, too. I usually read biographies and true stories, but I am going to try your suggestion for this book. Thank you. Love your new channel!

I absolutely loved the book. My daughter figured the ending about 1/2 way through the book. She thought the book was just ok.
I never figured out the ending
