😂 I just discovered $Bs couple weeks ago from my husband. This one is by far my favorite. My husband is clean and 18 months. That is one thing he did say. Doing lines and being chatty was very bonding for him with people he felt like he otherwise felt disassociated with or didn’t acknowledge. Myself included. I enabled him for awhile because he did better. Also, as a Christian, I never tried to talk him into my religion but always tried to give wisdom. And he learned to realize the only way is through surrender.

Most people who listen to suicide boys have tried it all, I always tell people if you’re going to do something make sure it doesn’t involve a substance that’s been tampered with by humans . If it’s fresh out of the ground go for it I only smoke and take shrooms now, that’s about as sober as it gets where I come from I don’t even vape lol . One day at a time
Might be a shot in the dark, but if you want to interview the boys you could try and contact TaunT, Nardwuar and the boy$ cousins. They're generally pretty private people but they have done interviews before and considering what you do for your community and the things they hold dear to themselves I like your chances. Just reach out everywhere you can it would be awesome to see !

they do take interviews, however i do lean towards not being so invasive in your approach. There would be a variety of ways to have the opportunity suggested to them in a way thats not as invasive through managers and such but they have recently been more open to community involvement so theres potential. Would be interesting to see regardless.@trynabesober

Hearing scrim talk about doing drugs with his mom to bond hit so close to home for me I remember being in a room with my two younger brothers and my mom openly 6:38 smoking meth together and that went on for years until we all separated. Can’t believe that I can say I’m free of all hard drugs and alcohol. If you’re out there struggling it’ll get better if you want it to ❤

I have cancer and do not like mumble rap at all, but that changed the first time I heard suicide boys the day before yesterday, his voice speaks to my soul about the truth about dying… how addiction doesn’t care about your health and how easy it is to give in, but the paradox is that this music somehow makes me wanna live, for the simple inspiration of a new musical group that understands the complexity of death and dying.
I feel so empty I started smoking again and it makes me so happy, gives me energy, but it’s also the worst thing I can do, I can’t stop

@@greninja9633i think what they do is find music to sample and scrim produces the beat for the most part. since theyre a duo they probably both have a say and work on it together but scrim is whos usually at the helm for that stuff which is why you hear his producer tag in almost all the songs.

There's a method called digging for producers, people like Dr.Dre would do it and it's when they dig through old vinyl, audio, tapes or really anything looking for samples and sounds or in their case even the dialogue intros like this song and many others have.
The whole beat and everything else is their own creation.

I watch all your reaction videos to $uicideboy$, I’m from New Orleans and they have been my favorite group since high school, before they even blew up. Somewhere along the lines I lost myself and who I was and began using heroin to cope with my pain and these guys have helped me tremendously and I’m happy to say I haven’t touched a needle in 10 months and $uicideboy$ have been a huge part of my journey. And I think there are many others who feel the same way. You have also helped as well just by breaking down the lyrics and also offering help to other people who suffer with mental illness such as depression, bipolar etc, like myself. So thank you!

No, the facial expressions, lighting a cigarette etc just gave me the vibe of they gave it a shot (religion) but didn’t find much & was staring at the cross like “wtf is this supposed to do” if that makes sense that was my take but I’ve seen theories of people saying it’s likely them just hoping there’s something more / different in the afterlife as they still feel empty after all the fame & money hence the song name as well as maybe being tired of music in general with Ruby scratching out what we can only assume to be lyrics & then $crim yelling & kicking his desk while making beats. Which imo all makes more sense than my theory but still don’t think they’ve started following religion. They’re both spiritual but that’s different than religious.
@@ItsDTingI feel like $crim may be following Christ in part of him covering up his upside down cross between his brows along with tattooing three upright crucifixes above his brow and a catholic cross on his cheek. Also in the video of his nightstand it shows Jesus depicted upon candles. I’m not sure the symbolism in the end however, but I feel like they’re both opening up to accepting it all
@@TheOperationB i agree. i think there is also symbolism in the fact that they dress up to go to stand in front of the cross. it shows respect. the cigarettes might be symbolizing that they're sinners as all humans are. and that they are who they are and that life is hard but they still look to something beyond themselves. including possibly Jesus/ God. just my take.

I finally got sober from alcohol, going to therapy now. Used to do alot of different prescription drugs, never got addicted to any of them but Adderall. Depression sucks but im getting better, this song fuckin made me start sobbing because there are so many things that these lyrics say that i have been dealing with my whole life. I love suicide boys and love your reaction to them, they and this are a form of therapy. And the song is fuckin gasssss too.

It's crazy because they are really rich, and still feel depressed and bad
i always thought going to a therapist or a psychiatrist was for rich people or whatever. i didnt think it was an option. i just started going to a psychiatrist and am getting medication. it cost me 0$ and so far only 4 visits. i dont have any insurance at all either. so far just talking to a stranger who is smart and accepting has been great and im looking forward to trying medication and possibly being happy and normal soon. :)
