😂 I just discovered $Bs couple weeks ago from my husband. This one is by far my favorite. My husband is clean and 18 months. That is one thing he did say. Doing lines and being chatty was very bonding for him with people he felt like he otherwise felt disassociated with or didn’t acknowledge. Myself included. I enabled him for awhile because he did better. Also, as a Christian, I never tried to talk him into my religion but always tried to give wisdom. And he learned to realize the only way is through surrender.
@@sukaenacornelius9285 congrats on bro givin it up . Most people who listen to suicide boys have tried it all, I always tell people if you’re going to do something make sure it doesn’t involve a substance that’s been tampered with by humans . If it’s fresh out of the ground go for it I only smoke and take shrooms now, that’s about as sober as it gets where I come from I don’t even vape lol . One day at a time
Might be a shot in the dark, but if you want to interview the boys you could try and contact TaunT, Nardwuar and the boy$ cousins. They're generally pretty private people but they have done interviews before and considering what you do for your community and the things they hold dear to themselves I like your chances. Just reach out everywhere you can it would be awesome to see !
they do take interviews, however i do lean towards not being so invasive in your approach. There would be a variety of ways to have the opportunity suggested to them in a way thats not as invasive through managers and such but they have recently been more open to community involvement so theres potential. Would be interesting to see regardless.@trynabesober
Hearing scrim talk about doing drugs with his mom to bond hit so close to home for me I remember being in a room with my two younger brothers and my mom openly 6:38 smoking meth together and that went on for years until we all separated. Can’t believe that I can say I’m free of all hard drugs and alcohol. If you’re out there struggling it’ll get better if you want it to ❤
@@greninja9633i think what they do is find music to sample and scrim produces the beat for the most part. since theyre a duo they probably both have a say and work on it together but scrim is whos usually at the helm for that stuff which is why you hear his producer tag in almost all the songs.
@greninja9633 There's a method called digging for producers, people like Dr.Dre would do it and it's when they dig through old vinyl, audio, tapes or really anything looking for samples and sounds or in their case even the dialogue intros like this song and many others have. The whole beat and everything else is their own creation.
Gonna be honest, I've never been the emotional type especially when it comes to music videos. But this video made me cry, not sure why. But this music video just filled me with uncontrollable emotions that had to come out.
dude same. i interpreted the end, being them like accepting that their old selves are dead. like basically them finding themselves. the growth of them from where they started to where they are now is truly inspiring. i’m so proud of them.
i love this video because it makes you realize how big you are, how famous , how much money you have you still feel empty and feel so hopeless because of how depressed you are. Amazing music video and a beautiful song.
I watch all your reaction videos to $uicideboy$, I’m from New Orleans and they have been my favorite group since high school, before they even blew up. Somewhere along the lines I lost myself and who I was and began using heroin to cope with my pain and these guys have helped me tremendously and I’m happy to say I haven’t touched a needle in 10 months and $uicideboy$ have been a huge part of my journey. And I think there are many others who feel the same way. You have also helped as well just by breaking down the lyrics and also offering help to other people who suffer with mental illness such as depression, bipolar etc, like myself. So thank you!
So thankful for your story of recovery and the struggle because it’s real life. Appreciate you watching and thank you for welcoming me in to this community 😊❤️
@@ReactionTherapyOfficial absolutely! And thank you again! You are helping so many people through your videos and I look forward to many more of your videos!
the difference between him just listening to a song and him reading a song with the lyrics is so genuine. he looks like he is just straight vibing while listening to it.
You gave it the perfect analogy. I never wanted the video to end. I can't describe the feeling of being able to see inside someone elses life, even for a minute. Such a cool video
It's wild to see the Boy$ go from burning church tattoos to standing in front of a cathedral altar with something bordering on reverence. I've got my pet theories about their journey, but no matter what they believe it's good to see them sober healthy and successful.
What I love most about your channel is you aren't just doing content breakdowns but you're into the music and like it and have become a fan of this music
On genius it states when they say “no matter how hard it gets, no matter how tough, don’t disobey when I say give me the gun” ruby is saying please don’t kill yourself, please just give me the gun, no matter how hard or tough it gets, just give me the gun and keep living.”
As an alcoholic drug addict in recovery, this song hits so hard. “Addicted to sex, addicted to dr**s, really whatever will make me feel loved”….man that was so personal to me. Been there, done that…don’t have to live that way anymore. We do recover 🙏
Im literally viewing all the videos that you have reactingn to suicideboys all the afternoon , i discovered Your channel today and im glad to see that you also enjoy the songs , and the analysis that you prove is so accurate that it gave me like a fly around honey , i discovered suicideboys when i waa 17 now im 22 and the lyrics and the rhytm in all of their songs now have different meaning to me , i see it more with a message and not like only songs , thanks for the amazing work on tjis channel , have a great hug for a friend from Bolivia , one more time keep doing your greatest reactions to songs your channel is very impressive and the way that you interact is so natural that i am eating a lot of your videos !

I have cancer and do not like mumble rap at all, but that changed the first time I heard suicide boys the day before yesterday, his voice speaks to my soul about the truth about dying… how addiction doesn’t care about your health and how easy it is to give in, but the paradox is that this music somehow makes me wanna live, for the simple inspiration of a new musical group that understands the complexity of death and dying.
I think ruby saying “ don’t disobey when I say give me the gun”, could be directed towards scrim, like in lowkey, scrim says “now I’m back at square one, with my hand on the gun”
I finally got sober from alcohol, going to therapy now. Used to do alot of different prescription drugs, never got addicted to any of them but Adderall. Depression sucks but im getting better, this song fuckin made me start sobbing because there are so many things that these lyrics say that i have been dealing with my whole life. But it's a sample at the beginning from the movie Troy: "Let me tell you a secret...something they won't tell you in your temple. The gods envy us. They envy us because we are mortal. Because any moment could be our last. Everything's more beautiful because we're doomed." It's powerful stuff.

Ruby's line I'm addicted to ........whatever makes me feel loved. The reference sounds a acute Anhedonia is the inability to experience joy or pleasure. You may feel numb or less interested in things that you once enjoyed. It's a common symptom of many mental health conditions like depression.

Part v is definitely at top 3 for me, its short but all three songs are sooo fucking good. The first and third song especially. 🔥🔥
Third song is the best, that sample in the intro is so smooth and then when ruby comes in with the line "my type of vacation is isolation" it just hit
Matte Black, F'ing your culture, and 1000 blunts are a perfect trilogy.
On God playa part v hit home heavy.
