- The final scene shows the creation of Mount Doom from the Rings of Power Episode 6.
Galadriel and Halbrand fail to secure the Morgul Blade which turns out to be the key to the Dark Lords Shrine and results in creating Mount Doom!
the fact Galadriel and all the other main characters took a pyroclastic cloud to the face and aren't all instantly burnt to a crisp is both the most hilarious and insulting part of this series xD
It's like the writers thought that it wouldn't need to make sense because it's fantasy and they already hate the fans. This show is written by complete assholes.

It's an ash cloud, not a pyroclastic flow. Big difference.
They may look the same from the outside, but a pyroclastic flow is composed of large chunks of rock and lava - it's basically a rock avalanche on fire, driven by thermal air currents. But an ash cloud is just a plume of fine pumice. It might well scald and choke you, but a resilient person can survive it if they're lucky, or an elf.
ok... Frodo and Sam were inside a volcano when it exploded and they were not crisped so....

When one mountain erupts, it gives birth to Mount Doom. And the delivery of the land of Mordor.

@@peterwowfan The first thing that pushed me out was bad dialog [I watched E1-2]. I've checked in with the highlights since and find it on the whole surprisingly claustrophobic, poorly coriagraphed and plotted action, inconsistent acting quality, and generally feeling very unlike the LOTR world I imagined as a reader and movie fan.
Not even close to GoT. I put well below Legend of the Seeker as a fantasy series and that likely cost a tenth.

Nope. Mount Doom was created by Morgoth. Which is something that would actually fit rather well with the rop-Storyline, seeing that the mountain clearly existed for quite some time. Tolkien never stated when the volcano started erupting. Mordor as a functioning country (which it is in the LotR; it's not just the place; the different places in Mordor do have other names) was created by Sauron long after Morgoth fell.
Why are people so mad at the show it’s honestly pretty sick. Better than the movies on the simple fact we haven’t had to deal with the eagles of Gondor bull shit
