I hate to buy Pomegranate as I had a hard time to open it up and the seeds would be quite in a mess and broken. Thanks for sharing. I saw one video to put it into a bowl of water that I don't like that way,( afraid all the Vit C will go into the water and not in our body !) now I found your way. Thanks again and Marry Christmas and Happy New Year !!

Actually a pomegranate can be opened and cleared in 30 sec or so. That's the matter. It's right, that guy does it nicely. On a lazy sunday morning I could try to do it that way for the beauty of it. If our lives were what they were supposed to be (having time for ourselves as a priority) each one of us could use his brain and find beautiful ways of doing things, no matter how long time it takes. But for a large majority of people who does it actually in 30 sec because they don't have time, this, I guess, could look like a waste of time.
      Well, only my opinon.
      Peace

this works pretty good...after i get done seeding them, i put them in an empty pasta jar that has a lid...cover the seeds with apple juice or orange juice..let them sit in the fridge a couple of days and them eat them...you get a bit of that sweet and sour flavor ..

This is the superior because you don't slice any seeds open [as in all other methods], thus maximizing your seeds per fruit! Also very ninja blade skillz.

I don't know what you people are complaining about. This is quick and most of all, it is NEAT! These little beggers are a pain in the butt and always stain something! I have been using the technique in this video for years now and it always comes out perfect, never messy, 100% yield and I never have to pull out a Shout Wipe or the Clorox Cleanup. I'm sure Nigella works it well, but girlfriend is FAR from neat.
