What was pictured in the video appeared to be German potato salad. I agree that I've never had one of those that I liked. However, proper American potato salad doesn't have a bunch of white liquid in it; the texture is more like a paste. Also, the good stuff is often tinted somewhat yellow from the mustard therein.

The thing about eating watermelon is that it loses flavor as you eat it. The way a watermelon is cut for eating ( traditionally or conventionally) is in triangle shapes because the watermelon is so large and in an oval shape that it is cut first in thick round slices and the slices are cut in triangle shapes. And thus you eat the watermelon unavoidably starting at the tip of the triangle (which is of the center of the entire watermelon) and as you eat and bite further down you get closer to the green skin of the watermelon and the sweet flavor of the center of the watermelon is not as strong mid way to the skin and after you have been eating the sweet center you notice that the part closer to the skin practically tastes like water.
I think this is made for parties not restaurants 😂
