An issue with this seems to be that the NFTs are not listed as "created" by you on OpenSea, you just own them. Whereas manual upload via OpenSea associates you as the creator of the NFT. For an artist that's not so good, since you want all your created pieces to be listed as such, not simply all the pieces you happen to own.

@@DataSlayerMedia Just one more question.... I'm not saying this is going to happen but I do have experience with putting a bunch of effort doing something with a website then the website basically dies and goes out of business and disappears. I was wondering if that happens with niftymints, would my nfts still remain on opensea? Does their website have to be running for my nfts to show up on opensea?
The actual NFT data (image & metadata) is stored on IPFS which is decentralized and not under our control. We just store links to the NFT data to easily show you the items on your niftymints account.
With the interface, it looks like a metadata file is required for each NFT, is this the case? or is it possible to upload a single metadata file for the entire collection?
You can upload your NFTs without a metadata too, so it's not *required* that you provide one. It is also possible to add the same metadata file to multiple NFTs, you just have to choose that metadata file for each NFT during the upload process.
@@dh4923 Yes, that's possible too. Just name the file "metadata.json" and upload it. This way it'll be automatically attached to every NFT you're uploading.

@@agnosandre so there really is no way to Mint 10K of NFTs for free on OpenSea? Is there another platform that I can do the same process completely for free?
Someone needs to foot the bill, OpenSea lazy mints - meaning it doesn't actually mint the NFT it just lists the NFT on their marketplace for someone to buy (which then technically mints it). Maybe there is a way to list on marketplaces without minting and that could, in theory, be done for free.
@@jopitoc there is never a way to mint for free. But in polygon is way cheaper than what nifty is charging. There are tutorials that show how to bulk mint through polygon and IPFS and list it on opensea. A bit more effort but way cheaper and robust. niftymints CANNOT change the payout address, only the owner (you) can change the royalty % and payout address. OpenSea also says so on their website. We're assigned as a "collaborator" automatically since our wallet is the one which mints the NFTs, but you can remove this and everything will still work fine.
They will send your NFT's to your address that's not up for debate. My call out is that OpenSea will list NFTYMINTS as a collaborate (they do this by default). I would suggest just removing that collaborator and presto problem solved.
