The final structure need not look like a triangle. Just because he praised triangle, anything that looks like a triangle is not built efficiently. They represent the tantric way of building the temples as there's lots of science behind it. Yes! People even say that bad things happen in threes, and I notice that when two (similar) bad things happen, people get a little nervous waiting for the third. Then when the third comes, they relax a bit, even if the events were/are unpleasant...at least it's over/complete.
I had to research triangles in meditation...I was just meditating and I always see a triangle. I lay down and my two hands (palms) are the base, while my 3rd eye chakra is the point, they always flow into one another. It's a beautiful experience.
