When you imagine something and really believe it in your mind, it will appear in front of you or whatever you believed. This is called self-hypnosis. Use this ability to your advantage.
Edit: You can also apply this as law of attraction (if you really want something, you will get it if you have the mindset to work toward it the willingness to take action).

If you want to be in this moment, you should be aware you are 'imagining' and get out of that state of imagining.
