Just picked up a Euro model, houndstooth interior, sunroof delete, rear headrests, higher compression motor, 36k miles, automatic….BUT found a full manual swap kit and bought that too. Not trying to brag, just super stoked. Over engineered car.
That’s killer! A euro model would be awesome with that low of miles would be awesome. Wow, that’s lucky you found a manual swap kit. They are hard to come by and require a bit of extra stuff. Let me know how thing go when you do the manual swap! I’d be curious to know how what would be
I wished my euro model came with houndstooth interior instead of leather.. Mine has front powered windows and manual rear windows, a weird option lol.
Why do you all have to mess with these cars. I have a Euro 2.5v. I didn't want a manual. The auto is so good. Drive it as it is for 500 miles before you change the transmission. And DO NOT delete the SLS.
Did you find that manual swap kit at a vendor who has more of these kits or you happened to find it from someone parting a car? I'd appreciate your input.

You could probably replace the door handles with some genuine replacements, I would imagine they 're available from somewhere hopefulyl
Ahh i see.. yea that’s a good idea! Replacing with new OEM would be a smart idea
Try use a heatgun on the door handles. Sometimes it restores the surface, if its not too damaged.

Oh...in Germsny the color was blue-black, called pearl black in the US.
I bought my dream 190e a few years back. Randomly found a German import manual 5 speed with an odd 2.0 liter but a crazy Zender body kit. Also had some amazing Ronal rims and cloth interior that I loved. Did a bunch of videos on it but sadly sold it when someone offered me way more than I paid.
Shoot man, these cars can be needy for sure.

Pete ive still got it. Next year i will make a video on it and give you a heads up. So weird i stumbled across this in the comments. The body, brakes, and drivetrain is done. It lacks finishing the cooling system for the 606 and paint. Never know i may just drive it out one day.
I want one of these. My dad had one for a while when I was growing up. Got to get another one, however I want to modify a few things
amazing car, but the spoiler is aftermarket. it never came with a 3rd brake light. but still looks cool, for the wheels, im not really a fan of the big cosworth logo's. maybe put benz logo's on the center caps?
You also got modernized LED head and taillights, i know original is great but if you upgrade them with those new ones... the car even becomes more modern than a modern car xD so damn timeless!

Such a clean example and your wheels are awesome. Evo1 is my all time favorite, I always preferred it over the e30 m3 because if you know you know af:) evo2 was too much for me tho. But 2.3 16 is as close as you can get, I see it even has the stopwatch gauge

Great looking 2.3 and love those wheels. Currently hunting down a 2.5 16v with the Getrag 5-speed and houndstooth interior. If I close the deal looking to do some upgrades like exhaust, suspension and EFI injection. Will see 🤞
Just acquired a 1993 190E SPORTLINE 2.6 in black with the black/red RECARO interior, front and back seats. Needs lots of love. Might start a UA-cam channel. Who knows?! Really beautiful car!! I really like your 2.3 Cossi!!
Beautiful & stunning looking 190e in the perfect colour. Strongly recommend to get the grill de chromed & painted in the same factory colour.
The wheels also compliment the DTM motorsport style that they used in racing. Are they 16” or 17”?
My all time favourite used to be the 190e 2.5 Evo2, but I prefer the cleaner lines of the Evo 1.
Really tempted in building a track/race car from a stock 190e, with one being listed for sale recently being a manual (very rare to find) & slick top (no sunroof). It’s in excellent mint condition, which I guess is a good thing to start off with?

I always saw BMW e30 M3 as better looking car or i should say one with the best enteriour design ever, but with years this one kinda grow on me and aged even better then BMW.

I was actually mentioned in conversation yesterday how iconic the 190E was and that it was a bucket list car.
As for the Cosworth connection, here in the UK the name Cosworth is legendary. They created the Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth, the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth and Escort RS Cosworth. If anyone in the States doesn't know about these cars look then up. They are cult iconic classics

I Own one myself. However it's been modified with an AMG specs spring fitted with AMG AERO wheels and AMG exhaust system. Also added a PIAA fog lights as well. I had it resprayed with monochromatic paint scheme from radiator shell, wiper, side mirror cover, door handles which is become the AMG trademark prior to merger It's a great car though. Congratulation!

I saw one of these for sale a few years ago it was in excellent shape except it had some issue with the motor either it threw a rod or something in the head, I forget. But the seller said he could not get the parts to fix it and was selling as-is reluctantly because he couldn't find a way to fix it and gave up. Is this still the case with internal engine parts on the car? Have you looked into that?
The engines seem pretty strong, they leak from the front like most 1990’s car though
@@skrrtgarage3922 LOL yeah thats normal for any of these things. I'm sure its pretty reliable out of the box, but I'd bet a lot of internals are a challenge to find. Hopefully never needed.

I recently, one month ago, purchased the 190E sportline, and yes my vents control is also broken, i cant for the love of me figure out how to remove it, wiring is definitely an issue for me, i have these seatbelt indicators, they just flash even when the car is off and devour the battery, i genuinely would love to see any of the repairs youre doing with the 190E, it helps you speak english so i can actually understand, most of the videos i find are german guys that seem very annoyed at me

Is America, it’s one of the last Mercedes manual offered. In the world, it’s one of the last Mercedes sports car manuals.
@@skrrtgarage3922 hmm, I remember it was somewhere around 2010 that Mercedes stopped manuals in the US and they will stop in Europe in 2023.
Every one of these I remember seeing had a retired Marine Corp license plate. Don't know what that means. I've seen a lot of BMW wagons with those plates too.

RCF is doing great I finished RR Racing remote tune on the ECU software and now driving it whenever I get a chance. Takes at least 50 miles for the learning process to complete. Will put up some videos and potentially dragy runs up later in the summer. Cheers!

@@skrrtgarage3922 Thanks bro. Really appreciate it. Yes, definitely will post some dragy videos up, hopefully. I would say go ahead and put headers and tune on your ISF. Headers give the biggest gains on both RCF/ISF/GSF. I did not do headers because it would be too loud for my wife and I have already about 510 - 520 HP, which is more than enough for me. Yes, you are right. RCF is a keeper for sure. Will keep it forever, pretty much. It is just so much fun and does everything really well I want it to do. The ownership experience has been phenomenal.
