This was rhe first album I ever bought
It changed who I became as a person.
I always liked this one. It was powerful, poignant and beautiful to my 9 year old mind, and it still is now, 19 years later.
I'll see them tomorrow in person and I feel like it's a closing loop in my life in the best meaning possible.

I discovered Green Day around a year ago and only knew a couple of songs. I decided to venture a little bit more into their music and I am so glad I did. I fucking love this album, every song is a masterpiece. I never thought I would like an album this much.
Update: I listened to more green day and now love 5 more of their albums: Kerplunk, Dookie, Nimrod, Warning, and Insomniac
Update 2 (5/29/23): Been a while, wow. Green Day is just incomparable. Still such a great band and I like them even more now! Since my last update I have really enjoyed 1039/Smooth and 21st Century Breakdown, but I have liked those for a while now. Still don't really like Trilogy a whole lot (with the exception of X-Kid, great song), Revolution Radio is okay (Outlaws, Forever Now, Bouncing off the Wall are pretty good songs), and Father Of All is just a disgrace to their whole discography in my opinion.
Side note: I bought my first Green Day vinyl recently too (Insomniac 25th anniversary)!
