Hello everyone. I am Japanese. When I was little, I used to play like the children of the Ubuyashiki family during New Year's. This song has 12 verses, and the 12th verse has the lyrics, "12 and 12, dance 12 Kagura dances, dance 12 to the god of the year, dance 12 to the god of the year." 「12とや12の神楽を舞いあげて舞いあげて歳神様へ舞納め舞納め」The meaning of these lyrics is to dance 12 dances and offer them to the god of the year. Spoilers included! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️→ I came up with a hypothesis from these lyrics. What do you think of when you hear "12" and "Kagura"? That's right. It is "Hinokami Kagura" and "the number of breathing forms of Tanjiro's Hinokami Kagura" that have been passed down for generations in Tanjiro's family (Kamado family). Tanjiro has created many breathing forms. When all 12 breathing forms were completed, Tanjiro completed the 13th breathing form. I felt that Ubuyashiki Kagaya and his family somehow knew that this would be a great move to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan, and that the children were singing it as a prayer. This story is sprinkled with little bits of traditional ideas and songs that even Japanese people would be surprised by, so I commented that I would like everyone overseas to know about it! I'm not good at English, so I use a translator. I'm looking forward to the upcoming Infinity Castle arc!!! I'm excited!

@@staytunedwithdorothy Yoriichi was the one blessed by the sun god (so aint no way they saw the rookie tanjiro as a god) he then came up with sun breathing and we only know yoriichi as a sun user even tanjiro is not a sun breathing user he uses an alternative that is prolly the closest to sun breathing, we also learn that breathing names do mean different moves but since tanjiro's family was praying the sun god and yoriichi was blessed by him to defeat muzan it makes sense they can use a power able to deeply wound demons using the power of their worst nemesis, the sun.
I mean, I think its supposed to be like that, because (spoiler alert) Since the place just blows up like there was a mini nuke under it after the song, the attention to detail is amazing.

This episode is the most epic piece of media I ever watched. It felt like a dream watching it. Every sentence spoken had so much meaning. The conclusion of a 1000 year old grudge.

I don't think that's the case. Their smiles seemed to suggest that Muzan would lose the battle. The 12th lyric of this counting song is "Dance, dance, dance the 122 Kagura, dance to the God of the Year, dance, dance," （12とや 12の神楽を 舞いあげて 舞いあげて 歳神様へ 舞納め 舞納め ）which I think perfectly suggests the completion of Tanjiro's Hinokami Kagurazuki and the next stage of Tanjiro's life. I think the Ubuyashiki family somehow knew about the Hinokami Kagura that was passed down in Tanjiro's family, the Kamado family, and had the children sing the counting song as if they were offering prayers. Also, the number 12 seems to represent the 12 demon months.

(SPOILERS) I think it’s just from the nature of their family. Since Muzan was their ancestor, their whole family line has been cursed (that’s why Kagaya is dying) every man dies very early in the Ubuyashiki family and their dedication to stopping Muzan to free their family/descendants from the same fate has been growing over the generations so it’s probably very deeply cemented in their lives from birth. These girls are the old of Kagaya’s children, they do actually have a younger brother, if they don’t defeat Muzan now, these girls will have to see their brother suffer and die like they have watched their father die. I think they wanted revenge/retribution against Muzan just as much as their father did, just for that.
