Amazing how they're blown away by their own music, like they're hearing it for the first time. Fred's reaction on that final note was like, "Darn, I didn't realize it was that long."
Living in Buffalo NY-USA we receive Canadian air waves. Bought Sheriff cassette after 97 HITZ-FM played this track. Cool it was recorded in Hamilton. Great band.
My personal Favorite vocalist all time. Also how humble they both seem is very refreshing to see. Alias also what a great band to bad grunge ruined it all.
the lowlife shytt like guns and hoses and bon joke-i ruined this category of dramatic male singing. then the simpletons of music like eminem and grunge came along demanding to be considered " serious artists" with a media to make these more-rons be viewed as "complicated persons"
Amazing when you look back. 1 Sheriff album and two ALIAS albums plus Fred Curci's solo album... all those hits .... amazing. I went through the ALIAS BAND FAN CLUB You Tube page.. .unbelievable how much great music they put out and movies their songs were involved in... wow
One of the most beautiful love ballads ever! I get tears running down my face every time I hear this song! On the vinyl that last note and how they reverbed the end...awesome!
This is my absolute favorite record of all time, thank you so much for posting this. This album rocks so much. I also love the song California, another killer tune. I dig this album so much I bought the 3 copies of the vinyl my used record stored had of it, just in case! This was a lot of fun to watch!
Hey, I was lucky enough to discover this song last year driving in Miami Beach on a perfect Sunday night about this same time of year. windows down on the 80s satellite channel in my rental mustang. i believe they were playing the top 40 countdown as it was that week in late 80s. song of the year to me!!
This is definitely one of my top 5 albums! Made 100$ off our manager at the time. But I didn’t think it’d be this song. Lol great album! You guys killed it! That whole album rocked a lot of socks off!
Another thing many people don't realize. Steve DeMarchi cowrote most of the songs on the ARE YOU LISTENING ALBUM for Dolores O'Riordan from The Cranberries.... Unfortunately, when the album came out she didn't give Steve any song writing credits....some amazing playing on that album... this also explains his unexpected departure from the band
Thanks Soo Much for the remembering of the past. It sounds as though "you all" gave it your best shot and that's all you can do. The rest is dependent on Lady Luck, if you will, and this comes down to the Lord, if he approves of the Luck. Or one can use the word "providence".
That guy sux, he's no professor of anything. Just does a whole lot of Wiki and Google and puts it all together. He couldn't put two notes together if he had to. Rick Beato is much better.
This was our first dance song at our wedding. Still married 34 years later!
When he said ..that’s when he was a youngen…that brought tears 😢😢😢😢😢…ohh how times passes us by so fast…the 80s ..the best time of my life
One of the most beautiful songs of all time. My absolute favorite! Thank you ❤
And still listening
Freddy Curci and Steve DeMarchi = Brilliant and talented.
Thanks guys for such a great song. I love it.🥰
Beautiful voice! I love it! And that note lasted forever!
Amazing how they're blown away by their own music, like they're hearing it for the first time. Fred's reaction on that final note was like, "Darn, I didn't realize it was that long."
My wedding song❤ Thank you for recording the most beautiful song Ever ❤
From my home town, Hamilton. I must have listened to that song 100 times!
I've listened to it thousands of times. I could listen to it a million more times. It is the Greatest Power Ballad of all time. PERIOD!!!
@@ldcsam1 Yes, it was one of the best.
He has such a beautiful "oo" vowel. Such a skilled singer.

Absolutely one of the best songs ever.
Freddy holds the record for longest held note! True fact
I love Freddy! He was always so laid back and soft spoken. Great vocals and still a great guy.

Breathtaking!!
Thank you for so much for putting this video up! I always wanted to hear Freddy In an interview regarding this awesome song. So humble. Both of them.
Agreed. And, so humble for someone that could hit that note and made the hearts of young girls go pitty-pat.
This is definitely one of my top 5 albums! Made 100$ off our manager at the time. But I didn’t think it’d be this song. Lol great album! You guys killed it! That whole album rocked a lot of socks off!
Love you guys thanks for doing this.
Beautiful song!
My most beloved love song ❤
This song is my favorite song; Freddy has a fantastic voice. I wish he made more albums.
Freddy looks unrecognizable.
@@SuperAnimelover100 bad Mediterranean genes. it happens to all of them. looks are not their strong points.
@@SuperAnimelover100 It's hard to believe this guy is even the same person. His speaking voice gives it away but he looks completely different.
@@Nostaljack
Exactly !!
Fred Curci is the most underrated singer of all time (Steve Perry Brad Delp) good, I had both albums and Alias is still played in car all the time
Freddie and Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply, 2 of my favorite high voices.
for FACEBOOK users.... TONS of cool stuff on the ALIAS BAND FAN CLUB page on Facebook... do a search for - SteveFred Of-Alias and "add friend"
Quite the duo! I wish they had made more albums!

Whats crazy is that these two schlubs could be next to you on a plane and you'd have no idea they had a #1 hit in 1989.
Bad ass
The Professor Of Rock brought me here. Who else is joining me??
That guy sux, he's no professor of anything. Just does a whole lot of Wiki and Google and puts it all together. He couldn't put two notes together if he had to. Rick Beato is much better.
If you will help me find it will post it.
what happened to the drummer? this was one of the best male songs of the 1980s. too bad they did not make more albums.
It was great song but video of the kids in the bath tub would have made it a number one
Freddy curci doesn't look like same I didn't recognize him
it would be scary if he did, given the age difference!
Well hopefully u got paid finally!
Steve DeMarchi just posted info about this on Facebook recently. Never got anything. Lawsuit never resolved
What the heck happened to Fred ????? Nooooooooooo!
Age....and health issues. Be lucky these guys are still kicking, and can still play/sing.
Wow everyone gets old,you will too
Bono sucks.
