@@KatiaCreates I've made several now and they ARE easy and look great. Mine are not just for water bottles, I'm using the pattern to make covers for planters, etc. It's a VERY useful and easy design. Again, THANKS!
@@KatiaCreates that's fine I don't do well with single crochet in the round and I love your work your easy to understand and follow thats why I ask thank you so much
Thank you so much!! 😊 You can use a larger hook size -5mm or make the base larger by working an extra round. I showed you how to stop working on the base with 36 dcs. You can add one extra round by working: 1 dc, 1 dc and into the following st. Work 2 dcs. Repeat around. Work 1 dc into the next 2 sts and 2 dcs into the following st. At the end, you will have 42 dcs. Then you can continue working on the hight same way. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️
Don’t forget to increase each round for the base only. Don’t worry if it’s still looking like a bowl. Once you put the bottle in, it should straighten out. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️
Instead of 18 stitches around, can we skip 3 stitches and crochet into the 4th stitch for 9 stitches around? I want the holes bigger. Thank you. I concur with the other comments. This is so simple to follow and cute, too.
This is very simple I love the way u explain things and the speed u go.. Others can stop the video and restart if they don't understand.. love love this thank you!
You can. Check the base on the bottle to make sure it fits and if you need to make adjustments, do it then before moving on to the hight. You can then adjust the size of the hight if needed. I hope this helps🤗❤️❤️
This is a great tutorial and I love a written pattern, so I hope I wrote it well. Crochet Bottle Holder Make a Magic Ring Round 1: Ch3 (counts as a dc) 11dc into the ring, close the ring, sl st into 3rd ch (12 sts) Round 2: Ch3, dc into same st, 2dc into each st, sl st in 3rd ch (24 sts) Round 3: Ch3, *2dc into next st, 1 dc into next st; repeat from *, sl st into back loop only (36 sts) Round 4: Ch4, *sk 1 st, dc into BLO, ch1, repeat from *, sl st into both loops (18 ch1 spaces) Round 5: Ch4, dc into top of dc from previous round INTO BOTH LOOPS FROM NOW ON, *ch1, dc into top of dc, repeat from *, sl st into 3rd ch (18 ch1 spaces) Rounds 6-17: repeat round 5 (I made only 12 rounds using worsted weight acrylic yarn and size H hook for a 20 ounce bottle up to the larger Stanley type bottles) Last round: Ch1, sc into same st, *sc into the ch1 space, sc into next st, repeat from *, sl st into 1st sc (36 scs) Strap: Row 1: Ch1, sc into same st, sc into next 2 st, turn (3 sts) Row 2: Do not chain at the beginning of the strap rows. 3sc into the 3scs from previous row (3scs) Make the strap as long as you like Rows 3-?: Repeat row 2 Attach the strap: Count over to the 16th st on the top round, attach the strap with 3 scs in the next 3 sts going into all 4 loops, ch1, cut the yarn. Weave in ends.
You can start with a primary color and when you want to switch to a secondary color, don’t cut the primary color. Alternated the two colors at the beginning of the rounds where you added a stitch marker. I hope this helps 😊💕💕
😂 ohhhh sorry about that! I thought you were referring to the thumbnail photo. It’s just poster boards I use. I buy them at the dollar tree ( 2 for 1.25$) super cheap and they work. 💕💕
Sorry about that. You can slow down the video by clicking the setting button located on the right top of the video and then click the playback speed and choose the slower speed. I hope this helps.
Haha Mr. Jasper is seeing what’s going on 😂 Also I love this crochet project! Very neat ❤
He always comes around to play with the yarn 😂 Thank you 💖💖
VERY clear, simple, great close-up pics, good volume. Easy to follow along ! YAY Thank you.

❤
That’s awesome!! I’m glad you were able to finish it! Thank you for sharing 🤗💖💖
iknow what to do now.. sorta i think but after the 5th round it goes inward instead of just going up.. im stressed😭
Don’t worry!!😉 it will do that. When you add the bottle inside, it will keep its shape. It also depends on the yarn too. I hope this helps 💕💕
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
This is a really easy tutorial to follow. Just a quick question, if I want to make it bigger where do I adjust? Thank you so much.

It was kind of hard. I dont know how to double crochet.
I’m so sorry to hear that! You can try to slow down the video to give yourself some time to work on the double crochets. 🤗❤️
Why does my base always curve into a frigging bowl 😢?
Don’t forget to increase each round for the base only. Don’t worry if it’s still looking like a bowl. Once you put the bottle in, it should straighten out. I hope this helps!! 🤗❤️❤️

Can I do this with 4 ply yarn?

I bought it at Michaels 💕💕

You are very welcome 🤗💕
Yall I am just like you KJ the same thing also happened to me 😭😭😭
Oh no!! I wonder why? Check to make sure that each round is worked by increasing your stitches. That should help it lay flat. 💕💕
This is a great tutorial and I love a written pattern, so I hope I wrote it well.

Water bottle holder
Yes
How much would you charge a person if they wanted you to make one for them?
Do you mean if you crochet one to sell to someone else? I’m not sure - it all depends on the yarn you buy and the time it takes you to make one.
You are going to fast for me
Sorry about that. If you are still interested in making this, you can slow down the video in the settings. 🤗❤️
go slower i cant even do the double crochet part
Sorry about that. You can slow down the video by clicking the setting button located on the right top of the video and then click the playback speed and choose the slower speed. I hope this helps.
