I absolutely love this build! I think it’s my favorite you’ve ever done (and that’s saying something). I might actually use this (assuming I can convince my player to actually run for our group, forever dm pain). Also, didn’t say it last video, but the new intro and setup is great! Feels much more professional
So I used UA Artificer for this build. The only real change I made was in the UA at level 6 Artificer you can make an uncommon Armor, Weapon, or Wand of your choice that isn't cursed. So, I used Adamantine Armor. You sacrifice some AC, since it isn't +1 Armor, but now Crits don't affect you. Combined with the amount of HP you get with a +5 con, +1 per level from Dwarf, +2 per level from Tough and + 40 when you get Boon of Fortitude, crits are inconsequntial. The defenisve field only works when you're bloodied and that will take a while. I also added the Storm Rune as yet another Reaction option.
Here's a build I'd like to see you try if you haven't yet: A Soulknife Rogue/Warrior of Shadow Monk multiclass in 2024 rules. I'd like to call it the Shadowknife
That's incredible! Would love to see a UA Artificer alternative. Going with the concept, Dwarf Armorer Artificer 3/ Psi-Warrior 17. I just watched 40k in Secret Levels. Its good to have a guarded mind. Shield Master feat. Probably go Dreadnought, keep INT high.
I agree, if I were to do a UA alternate O think it would be hard not to go Dreadnought. I may have to play around with it and see about doing one in the future!
That sounds like a lot of fun! I hope the concept lives up in play and is fun to try out. I think it will at least feel at home in a 40k inspired setting.
Hi Alex, I'm loving your builds. Super flavored! I have a request. An ultimate ranger beastmaster 2024 : a paladin / warlock build 😂 .The idea is to use find steed but not mount it and use pack of the chain + investiment of the chain master for a bonus action flyby bird of prey. 100% online at lvl 10 (to have both the investment and find stead). Flavor and potent in it's own way. The mount will have a turn after you and and the familiar can attack with your BA.
Haha thank you, I appreciate that! I can definitely add that to the list, but I have to ask: Did you by chance see Rules as Written's latest video? If not, that's a huge coincidence and I would highly recommend it as it was exactly this, quite a fun build! But of course I can add it and try to put my own spin on it if you'd like. We'll see if its as interesting though.
Wow, I didn't. Just checked and it's nice . One more pet than my idea. It's a little bit MAD for my taste though, specially because you can have the paly/warlock CHA focused. Also, normal find familiar can't attack, but warlock one can.
Those thunder gauntlets I hope get an upgrade in 2024 version. They're very underpowered they don't scale and they don't work with weapon mastery. Great idea but I'm really waiting for the update officially
Yea I agree the Thunder Gauntlets at least need the light property or some way to “dual wield” since thematically you get two anyway. That could help with both scaling and weapon mastery without actually giving them a weapon mastery of their own. Here’s hoping for something nice in the official release!

Yea I can add that to the list! I don’t believe I have done a Soulknife build of any kind using 2024 rules yet. I think that’ll be fun to try out!

Our Dm is doing a one shot for his wife birthday next month and here is my characters concept, as the game is 40k inspired.
