I have a 2019 1LT. Even if I won the lottery I would still own this car. I drive 44 miles a day for work , and the gas mileage is great. We had a major cold spell in the midwest so I never let it get lower than a 1/2 tank. It cost $7.00 to fill up from a 1/2 tank. I had to laugh , that is so great. When you drive this car you forget how small it is, to sum it up it drives like a big car in a small package. This car is affordable in every way. Remember the back seats do fold down for more cargo space. Not to mention this is a fun car to drive. So glad I found this vehicle , I give it 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!!!!
I'm interested in buying one. How is the interior? Is there a lot of road noise?
@@nerychristian I do not have any complaints about this car, , it is not loud at all. the sound system on the radio is good. You should take one for a test drive

Do you have the cvt or 5 speed?
I have an automatic transmission. I have owned the car since November 2018. I am learning more , someone told me that to replace some parts when needed can be pricey because of shipping cost. I do not know if that is true. I would say take one for a test drive. I enjoy this car, but I do have a larger car available to me, but find it rare that I have to use it. I stand by my first statement , I have a new car with all the benefits of a new car and paid the price of most used cars. I am very happy with my choice!!!

I feel like this would be ALLOT easier to live with if it had power locks and windows

Wheel locks on a car with hubcaps? How do you screw on the hubcaps since they screwed on and not snapped on?
Better than Walking or taking the bus. For years I did this & would have taken this car over my options back then.

In Ontario, I can get the LS manual for 9998 Canadian dollars. Plus 1600 freight. Which is about 7500 USD. Why is the LS manual in the US 14,000?

is there really a different headlight from the 2019 LT vs LS I can't find anything online to back this claim?
The headlamps are both projector-style halogen lights, but the 1LT has LEDs for the daytime running lights
Kinda wanting one of these for my daughter. But she wants a manual 5 speed with power locks. Do they even make a manual 5 speed with power locks? Because i have yet to see one
Not for the LS, but if you go with a 1LT, 2LT, or Activ you can get the manual with power locks. $2,000 difference to go with a 1LT
1LT has power mirrors, locks, windows and push button electric hatch release above rear license plate. Very happy with mine (5 speed).

Was honestly considering getting one of these, but when. I saw the kinda sad 60k mile powertrain warranty across the board for Chevy, it kinda put me off. Makes me feel like Chevy doesn't trust their vehicles anymore. 🤷♂️
Hopefully the rpms are lower a70 mph when in 5th gear I have a 2014 in 5th at 70 mph it’s sitting at 3300

I had a 2015 Spark. Drove it 85,000 carefree miles. All I did for the car was tires and oil changes. The engine is too small, not enough power for the hills. Cargo is fine if you're short. You can fold the rear seats down, but being 5'8" tall with longs legs, not very comfortable. Gas mileage was good, extreme cold below zero made for rough starting. Too many below zero days found the car sitting in the driveway, it wouldn't start. In winter I ran 4 studded winter tires and found difficulty getting around in snowy situations, the car is light in the rear and moved around too much even with extra weight in the back. The tires are too small. It should come standard with 16" wider tires with custom wheels. Give it something sporty. Not a family car.

Nope, no cruise control. It would be located on the left side of the steering wheel. You may have seen the driver information center controls that are on the turn signal arm.

I think this car would be so cool if it had the cruze ecotec engine applied to it and the cruze should have the 2.0 turbo as an option, both cars with those engines would be pretty good with those!
Alex Hooper if you move some thing around in the engine bay you could fit that in there

I'm confused...the car salesman I was in touch with said there's no ac in the 2019 ls manual yet in this car, I see an a/c button? @10:43
WOW I'm not sure why they would have said that as A/C is standard on all Sparks, regardless of trim level or transmission. Rest assured, no matter which 2019 or 2020 Spark you purchase, it will definitely have A/C.
Yeah I bought a base model 2019 Spark the same color as the one in the video but with an automatic transmission. It has AC and the salesman mentioned they all came with it no matter what model.
In Canada the LS has no A/C.

I have a 2019 Chevy Spark LS & I will say the only thing I was disappointed on is the back seats do not fold down flat, it's a 45% angle at best.
The best thing I love about the car is $17.00 is the most I have spent to fill it all the way up.
My apologies that I didn't show it in the video, the seat bottoms can flip forward to allow the seat back to fold flat (head rest has to be taken off though). Check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/BuCrn2fdB5M/v-deo.html
Do you have the LS manual? If you do, does it have air conditioning? I was told it does not but I'm getting different answers online.

You know for 10k, just a car to get to work and back to save mileage and wear on your nice vehicle.. it's not terrible. Wouldn't want this as my only car though

Thanks for posting this. I was planning on going to see one of these tomorrow morning, but I've changed my mind. I think I'm going to go with an LT but maybe a 2017 or 2018. I guess I just assumed cars didn't have crank windows anymore, so as soon as you opened that door I said HOLD ON
Miranda I have the LS version of the 2019, I thought no power windows/locks would be absolutely awful, but I’m honestly used to it and it doesn’t bother me.
All personal preference. The LS is meant to be a price leader, so it's pretty basic. Not too much more to go to an LT though.

This one is manual. It is available as manual or automatic.
I got a new 2013 Spark , then a lavender 2014, buying a new 2020 now. Super car without the gadget basket extras I hate. Just about the only car you can buy without borrowing. By the way another big plus-it has a timing chain not the belt that can break and ruin the motor. And good old reliable gearbox, I don't trust the cvt transmission any more tha a timing belt. I hope they keep making them. I also like the original grill, you mentioned the Chevy look. I don't want the generic look. The early Sparks have a distinct look. Now they look like any other Chevy.
But a super car, the Korean beetle.
Why buy a gas guisler àround the city ànd suburbs wheñ this type of vehicle çan do the job?

Dude this is one of the cheapest cars in America. It's not made for luxury; it's not designed to be fancy. It's no supposed to be fast. It's solely an A & B car- a car to get your ass from one place or another. Sometimes I don't want to take my 50k vehicle to work or to run a simple errand. It's a disposable car. It's that simple.
Actually it is THE cheapest new vehicle in America.
Why would you buy this if you can get a mitsubishi mirage which is cheaper, has better gas mileage and A LOT better warranty? It doesn't make sense. Not to mention Gm's fuckable reliability.
They have almost exactly the same starting price. GM usually has a 20% off rebate running on these too. It's a cheap price leader, not meant to be the most awe-inspiring vehicle, just inexpensive.
Well this car is faster than the Mitsubishi mirage. Which I suppose isnt hard because I think the Mitsubishi mirage is the slowest car made today. Plus for the rest of this month, this car is $2,000 off from GM rebates.
Chevy and mirage can do 60 mpg its amazing almost hybrid
This vehicle with the 5 speed manual is VERY reliable.
Middle console of this car is completely useless !!!
