Recently purchased the 2016 version of this Car, its excellent, however does not show as much Data for Fuel usage as this 2019 does. I also only pay from 33 to 40 dollars CND for a full tank. If people want a smaller car for easy parking and better fuel usage (a much smaller lighter car vs SUV) I recommend these cars, Chevy really impressed me with the Sonic, a slightly older version of this same car, yet took out the awesome air vent system (cone design) which should have been left in the 2016 - 2019 versions of the Spark. Otherwise an awesome car, and very fun to drive.
What about the vent system
The spark doesn’t replace the sonic. In the states the spark is sold alongside the Sonic. It’s sad that the Sonic doesn’t have higher sales because it’s a great car especially in hatchback form. Also Chevy has a habit of putting less detailed driver information centers in the lower trims. This is probably the upper trim level shown. They do this on pretty much all of their vehicles.
What type of gas does it take what brand of gas
$40 to fill up a Chevy spark? Prices right now where i live in the states would be about $18! You guys get taxed like crazy!
In canada, approx 30% of the price of gas is taxes :(

I'm considering a Spark now. My daily commute is 32 miles. The morning trip is very early when there is no traffic. My mpg then would be incredible. The trip home would be good also, but not as good as the mornings. I have improved my mpg by changing my routes to avoid traffic lights and left turns when possible.
Its been four nonths, but if you haven't, go for it. I have one. I used to have a jeep commander, and a jeep compass. Two big suvs. I now have a spark and i couldnt be happier

It holds 9 gallon it goes just over 400 miles
How far a car goes depends on road conditions, and speed but thanks for the comment I guess.
definitely a Chevy Spark does not compete against the Renault Megane... its direct competitor is the Renault Kwid sold in Mexico and other countries

I can't find one of these cars. My chevy place mostly has big cars. Probably due to supply chain issues,chip shortages and the pandemic.
How do you check the engine temperature gauge? Why is this important guage missing should be standard? Confused 🤔? This temrature gauge should be standard on all make s of vehicles as should be a dash cam. On all makes of vehicles ☺️. We have all this wonderful software available but not a dash mounted camara as standard. Why? Could solve a lot of accident problems 😃 and otherwise whilst driving. Just a comment.

I agree. My Honda has it and I swear by it. My girlfriend's car is a Chevy. Doesn't have temp gauge and it is annoying!
I happen to have a 5 speed manual 2020 spark and I am averaging 4.6 litres per hundred k this far. It is not rated anywhere close to that number. The computer says 4.8, but I have verified the true mileage on paper after fill ups. If you pay attention to the instant fuel economy meter and have a light right foot, there cars can get great fuel economy.
So what is that in Mpg ?

Rob, is that for real? That's 51mpg! I'm looking for a replacement for my 2004 Honda Civic 5sp MT where I'm still getting at least 40mpg in 2022. This sounds like a no-brainer then!

It’s Chevrolet. It’s their black accessory wheel with the red rings installed. Yes these are actually real things. Look up 2021 Chevy Spark accessory

when i bought 2017 chvey spark, they said fuel economy 19.5 K/L mean i can drive my car around 650 KM they are lied (Information can be seen through the logo based on the glass or through the dealer)
I drive my car to and from work and home my speed always 80-110 km and im always using cruise control so full tank ends in 350-450 km but Usually 350 km
Same with my 2014 Mitsubishi mirage. It is advertised to consume 5.3L/ 100km city 4.4L/ 100km hwy and a combined 4.9L per 100km driven. I've been averaging 6.2 liters of fuel per 100km driven mixed city hwy. I've always been light on acceleration and when crusing on main roads around the speeds of 60 - 70 km, the rpm is consistently around 1500 - 1700 rpm and on hwy driving at the speed 110 km, it's around 2500rpm. Im needing to fill up every 480 - 500 km driven while the advertisement shows it can be taken to 700km driven. I wonder if we can make a law suit on the matter.

What color is that? This the only Chevy spark I have liked so far....it's the color that makes it finally look good.
In other colors it either looks plain or like it's for a teenage girl.
I get 300, 330 mpg when I fill up with mostly highway driving 70, 80 mph.

@@Pinkielover A fair amount of fuel goes to harder than needed acceleration and heavy braking which people typically do these days. Have some patience and it will reward you in more ways than one. Good luck..
Better than hybrid if you compute for 3 years your gasoline expense plus you car value, Spark still cheaper =)
Hardly lol. I mean it's a decent hatchback for what is is but the economy is far from what a typical hybrid can do.
I wish North America would get the South Korean model with the 3 cylinder.
Well, in my opinion the 4 cylinder barely has enough power as is. I live in the mountains though so that probably explains why. A 3 cylinder would be very hard to live with probably in my mountainous state and would probably get worse gas mileage due to constantly having to be revved high to go up mountains. Wouldn’t be as bad in flatter places though.

Franklins Crib yeah, my Spark is a 4 cylinder and it seems to struggle on hills. Most cars seem to struggle on some of our mountains though.
@@weatheronthe8s895 Lol Those who don't know how to drive well would have trouble. A fair amount of people easily get by with a 3 cylinder. I take my mirage up 26% grade moutains with no trouble.

I've had my Spark for 5 months and haven't gotten more than 263 miles per tank... Lifetime fuel economy is 26.6mpg
I spent approx $22 per tank.
Somewhat disappointing so far.
Elevation effects it a lot central wva I got 36.6 on the highway and average in southern Ohio 37.8 to 38.8

295 miles / 9G. 33. miles per gallon. lol depending on where you live. spend 3k on a scooter and get 50 mpg. LOL. YOU ONLY NEED THIS IF.. IF YOU HAVE A WINTER SEASON..
Eh, better off with a Toyota or Mitsubishi that will do better than 60 mpg. Just my opinion though. Extra horsepower doesn't mean much in the grand scheme.
