The armor absorbed the blaster fire and disintegrated. The impact of the hit usually stunned the clones. It was desinged to lessen the damage of the body and absorb the hit, not totally deflect it
I always liked how the phase 2 armor looked like a cross between the phase 1 armor, and the stormtrooper uniform. Made it seem symbolic of the republic transitioning into the empire.

after the disappointment of Battlefront, they should make a "Starwars Battlefront 2 Remastered". All that they would need to change is add online multiplayer, and maybe 4 player split screen.
Thorolf 25 I still play the game's multiplayer, and I'd definitely take a remaster just for better netcode and hitboxes, as well as multiplayer bots that aren't super laggy on even the best connections and don't randomly decide to have perfect aim and kill you instantly

Wrong. ARCs are like Spartans. They started out with a very small number (the alphas), but later allowed very elite normal ranks in. The Commandos were more like ODSTs, not as deadly from person to person , but very deadly in squads

Some of the units in militaries in WWII were absolutely like this - with Airborne units and Ranger units that could also do airborne stuff and Paramarines that were marines that jumped out of planes and then you have OSS which had their fingers in all sorts of pies. I actually like that it's seemingly redundant and chaotic because it's accidentally authentic - because no sane fictional universe would allow this kind of thing to stand. lmao

ARC 0 were even better than Jango, ARC 1 were kinda as good, ARC 2 was available as a promotion, they were the worst. Commando is somewhere around ARC 1, maybe better, maybe worse. They were equipped better than ARC troopers.
Aprion they are specialized for very specific tasks. Like Army Rangers can do lots of things but specialize in taking airfields, even though green berets could do it too
Aprion a lot of these are legends and from video games, so when created, the authors may not take in account what others have already made. But thats the cool thing about star wars you can choose what you want is cannon and stick with it.

It was a little too specific for the task of giving information to those who didn't know that there was variation, but it wasn't nearly specific enough for those who want to know every little detail of the clones and their variations.
army rangers can fall under every just about mos in the army. some are pilots, some man tanks, some work with ordinance, some can be pilots. the thing that separates them from a regular army soldier is they went through ranger school.

Not necessarily! Sometimes HYPER specialization is EXACTLY what you need in certain extreme combat situations. Also this was the precursor to the Empire's Military. They where going to obviously have a specific clone classes for specific things. That's just how the Kaminoans roll also. They'll give you clones for ANY thing you need.

These were all so cool. I really liked the armor on the Galactic Marines, Clone Marines, and Scuba Troopers. I really like how the Riot Troopers carry shields. My favorite was probably the ARC Troopers, though. So many trooper types that I find totally awesome

It served multiple purposes such as keeping the sun of the Armour (after all a clone paratrooper is to look clean at all times). 2nd it kept rain of the Armour for the exact reason as above, 3rd it acted as a weapon for the occasional combat. 4th it formed part of their identity (their anthem of "I'm an Englishman in a storm trooper armour. 5th it allowed them to descend safety when deployed from space as shown in 4:56.

Personally I think there wasn't enough distinction between the normal clones and commandos. The commandos in the EU are genetically different and trained much more intensely than normal clones, and were completely separate from ARC troopers. The ARC troopers were basically like they were described in the video, but the commandos were more similar to a walking tank, specialized in recon, bomb disposal, weapons repair, hand to hand combat, and basically any other military skill under direct observation from both Kal Skirata and other bounty hunters. The clone commandos were super badass. And not ARC troopers.
2nd airborne paratroopers looks the best to me. The squad leader Barlex of their elite ”parjai” squad wasnt even faced when a RC started talking shit to him, instead he got him to shut up.

These were all so cool. I really liked the armor on the Galactic Marines, Clone Marines, and Scuba Troopers. I really like how the Riot Troopers carry shields. My favorite was probably the ARC Troopers, though. So many trooper types that I find totally awesome

The high entry paratroopers were always armed with umbrellas. It served multiple purposes such as keeping the sun of the Armour (after all a clone paratrooper is to look clean at all times). 2nd it kept rain of the Armour for the exact reason as above, 3rd it acted as a weapon for the occasional combat. 4th it formed part of their identity (their anthem of "I'm an Englishman in a storm trooper armour. 5th it allowed them to descend safety when deployed from space as shown in 4:56.

I learned that clone snipers were trained for sniping, clone advisors were trained to advise other clone troopers, that you don’t know there’s an antonym for “ascend” called “descend,” and that many clone troopers were equipped with powerful, special, and unique armor and weapons.

Personally I think there wasn't enough distinction between the normal clones and commandos. The commandos in the EU are genetically different and trained much more intensely than normal clones, and were completely separate from ARC troopers. The ARC troopers were basically like they were described in the video, but the commandos were more similar to a walking tank, specialized in recon, bomb disposal, weapons repair, hand to hand combat, and basically any other military skill under direct observation from both Kal Skirata and other bounty hunters.
The clone commandos were super badass. And not ARC troopers.
David Tolley a squad of 5 had more destructive power and training, than 100 battalions... i miss the eu 😢
2nd airborne paratroopers looks the best to me. The squad leader Barlex of their elite ”parjai” squad wasnt even faced when a RC started talking shit to him, instead he got him to shut up.

It can vary on the plot, or plot armor.
Tfw all the clones were trained for years and should all be super elite badasses. A US marine takes like 5 months to make and they're fucking crazy. Imagine what 10 years of constant schooling using advanced alien methods, combat training using life-like holographic simulations, genetic engineering, and teaching from renowned veteran war heroes from a planet devoted to making war can do.

he took more shots than the normal clone trooper so the armor was better somewhat it cant stop a lot of droids but it can take a hit for a bit
