Thank you, thank you, thank you, it worked for my solar powered fountain. Water has been in it more than 14 hours with no leaks. Saved my 150.00 fountain. You are my HERO!!
Watching a Master Painter working on a masterpiece was such a joy and honor for me. The beautiful color and careful pattern in which it was applied nearly brought a tear to my eye!
Wright Aquaponics and Ranch just be glad I didn't show video of my days on the fishing ship! I started out as a journeyman baiter and worked my way up to ,,,,,,,,,, oh never mind!
That stuff is fantastic. I used it to patch a small leak in my roof, 2 YEARS AGO and it still hasn't leaked. My wife is sold on it and Duck Tape too. :)
Good tip on the flex seal now I can fix my birdbath. Thanks, BC, Sounds like the MRS. is fixin to start quilting. I saw the quilt she made and donated when Tommy at Alderman Farms was attacked, beautiful quilt. Your little squirrel getter is a true treasure, all mine seems to get is the neighbor's cats.
My neighbor has a cat that frequents our yard. I have to be hyper vigilant to keep my dogs away. She has a few quilts for sale right now. She has gone back into quilting mode after taking a while off.
I bought the clear Flex Seal and watched this video again to spray like you were spraying. I have a smaller area 8" in diameter and maybe 3" deep where angel sits. This is the area that it is leaking from, so keep your fingers crossed that this will work on my particular surface. I will put another coat on in a couple of days like you suggested. Being clear it is hard to see if it is covering my cracks, but didn't want half of bird bath one color and the other half white.
That stuff works great for a while until the summer sun bakes it a while then it peels off like a rotten bannana peel.I used several cans on a leak on my tin roof on my solar cabin and I eventually pulled it all back off and used the rubber roofing sealant from Lowes.Maybe it will work better under water.Good luck.
You'll have to make one of those screen door bottom boats that Phil Swift floats around in after spraying the screen with flex seal! ; ) "It's a handyman in a cam."
I sure hope your results are different. We used that stuff on a metal roof around some skylights and a few seams on our church over in S'port city. Guess the heat got to it but it turned brittle and hard and just cracked and peeled after a couple months. It turned really crusty and would scrape off in little powdery balls. Really weird. Good Luck!
Its a bit pricey so that kind of narrows down its practical applications. Truly,it would have been cheaper to just buy a new bird bath, but I've always been curious about this stuff.
You might have a goldmine there. I had a little mixed breed dog named Pat bad in the day and he was an excellent squirrel dog. Yeah squirrels were food for us we didn't have much money so what we grew, caught or shot was pretty much what we had to eat. Anyhow, a few people had seen Pat in action and a man showed up wanting to use Pat as a stud dog with his girly dog that was also a great squirrel dog. I don't know how the pups turned out because I was going to college and working but apparently a good squirrel dog is worth there weight in gold, or something anyway. LOL.
I know you were just havin' fun with the squirrel footage, however....If things got bad enough, you'd have a valuable food resource right in your yard! Keep those squirrels fat and happy, my friend, because you just may be inviting them over for dinner.
and to think, wonder how much that check cost just to print, heheh. YEAH. huge check, don't spend it all in one place. Ms.BC , that is an awesome deal on fabric, I know, from one fabric lover to the another, I totally understand Wish our WM would do that kind of sale.
Danny Dunnagan it's the best mower I've ever owned but it's the worst seat I've ever sat in. I wish I had sprung the extra 400 bucks for the much better seat.
HMmm so the ROI is gonna be tough for the finance committee to explain. It cracked me up when I saw the commercial where the guy put a screen door into the bottom of a boat, and sealed it. That would have been like 35-40 cans. He could have just bought another boat. Seriously though, I like the idea of stuff like this, it will be interesting to see how it holds up.
Fortunately my finance committee are all former government workers and they all agree that spending 22 bucks to save a 19.99 bird bath makes perfect sense!

Or,,,,, it may very well be not harmful. Based on the fact that the birds having been drinking from and bathing in this for several years, and there are no bird bodies, I’m gonna go with, it’s safe.
Thanks, I just pulled my solar powered one out and it is leaking, can't tell from where, but will give this a try. Mine is made to look like it is stone, but it is not. Not sure if it will work, but will give it a shot.
@@bctruck I think mine is a type of resin and it is a rough type texture. If you go to my videos, I have a video posted of the fountain. Have to wait for ss to come in first. lol
Fresh squirrel stew. Trapper, our black Lab, would catch birds in mid flight but would not harm a feather. He was trained to have a gentle mouth for bird hunting. Miss the booger, he left the killing to us. He was strictly a fetcher. We need a killer cat for our snakes and squirrels. Since the dog is gone we are slowly being over taken by vermin. Killer deal on the materials for your wife.

Man your right it stinks!! My wife used my shop bathroom and came out of there with her eyes watering from the spray fumes. Mmmmmmmmmmmm spray fumes😁😁😁😁
wow man been way too long since ive watched your videos. Just a lil fyi the stuff they sell at lowes in the gardening section you spray on pruned trees to seal it, same stuff and its cheaper. It seems like the same consistency.
Hi! Did I miss a step(probably!)? How many coats of flex seal did you apply? And if more than one, how long did you let it dry between coats? Thanks!
