He handled whatever was happening there in the crowd with such grace. Awesome to see someone on stage not freak the fuck out and just asked them to chill as a favor to him.
It was one dude repeatedly to start a push pit which would have been the norm on a bill with harley poe and especially at the legendary metal/hardcore venue st.vitus but everyone else was just staring up in awe or gently swaying and he persisted. I was right next to him and he kept knocking into a smallish woman. It was handled perfectly and the guy chilled out. It was great to see Danny's compassion for all involved and even the offenders receptiveness
@@stephenh8368why would anyone wanna do that I wonder? I fucking love metal, punk, hardcore and basically some from every genre.. but how could you want to start a pit at a show like this. I could only stand there and try not to blink the entire time.
I've listened to this hour long video many times. I had just gotten sober, ended up getting cheated on a month after that and didn't know how to deal with life. Ended up robotripping many a night and listening to this concert. Thank you for being there in the darkest time of my life, Amigo ❤️
I’m happy to say that I saw Amigo front row a year ago from tomorrow and it was one of the best performances I ever saw. I saw him at Sonic Temple and it was super windy that day and his banjo got blown over from the stand and he caught it with his foot at the last second and he stopped mid song to say “did you guys see that?!” It was hilarious
You know, it's funny, quite a few years back my self esteem plummeted, and where I had been a live artist myself and played for people at least once or twice a week, as a musician of over a decade, I stopped.. completely. I haven't played for a soul in around 5 years, because despite getting a lot of praise back then and having people book me to play at venues, nothing anyone could say could convince me I wasn't shit. I don't even play for my S.O. who was always my biggest fan, because I felt like it was all empty compliments and she would say whatever she thought would make me happy, but I don't know how many times she's asked me to. Total and complete case of imposter syndrome. Watching AtD's live videos is slowly changing how I feel about it. He's not perfect, he has flaws and doesn't sound quite like he does on his albums, and it's still fucking awesome. He clearly isn't playing because he thinks he's the greatest, or because he wants anyone else to think he is, but because it seems he obviously loves the hell out of it. It's really inspiring.
Dude, dont play for others, play for yourself. As an artist you need to let it out, fuck what other things. Getting bookings is always great ofcourse but as a fellow artist i know i would likely kill myself if i didnt let out my art. Not sounding like your album at a concert is just good, means you get a more raw real experience. I hope you will start playing again!
@@HighConCannibal Just to clarify I never stopped playing in general, I still play and write 15-30 hours per week depending on the week, I just stopped playing for other people. There's no way I could live on this Earth without at least playing for myself lol. It's just that it doesn't feel like enough, but I'm so wary of playing in front of other people now.
I’d be honored to have y’all come out and stay with me. I know y’all have friends around the world. But fuckkkk… yalll are always welcome my way in Vegas.
I am currently watching this in my kitchen while making cupcakes and I just had the most fun I've ever had at a concert! Please come to Ohio! I'll make more cupcakes promise!
I can’t count how many times I’ve watched/listened to this recording while doing cardio at the gym.. nor do I intend on ever stopping. Can’t wait to see Amigo in California again
I got to see them Live in fort Smith Arkansas last night and got to chill with him and the band afterwards. There are insane performers and so kind to everyone
i need to get drunk while watching this video. i hate living in a place where amigo probably wouldnt come cuz its not in US or UK, but for now i´m happy i have internet to listen to his songs and cry and laugh and wish my crush's boyfriend dies
Amigo has an absolute presence that shines even through video.
One hell of a live performer.

Did you ever find an artist and then low key get mad you didn’t find them sooner.
Harley Poe and Amigo the Devil. Found them last year. Pissed I could have years ago.
Yeah. Glad I found em though, goddamn.
I know, and half the time they stopped making music two months before you found them
yea. this one
Why is it so trendy to misuse the phrase "low key"? Jesus Christ.

good job staying sober.
if you *stayed* sober.
if not, good job being human, and revisit the sober.

Finally something worth listening to.
This entire set was fkn amazing, not only are his songs unique, beautiful, and dark... but his stage presence is second to none. Amigo is the man 🤘

Damn he sings with his throat?! He will lose his voice within a couple years singing like this. Sounds like its already going....
What as opposed to singing with his fucking arse?
Daniel Power singing with your diaphragm.
There are healthy ways to sing with your throat. Plus he’s not doing the whole show with his throat
@@lordbumblebee4971 This is not a healthy way
You mean like Tuvan throat singing or some other kind of circular breathing yes. However he is not using this technique. Plus it sounds bad...
