That shouldn't matter if a correction is made. Replay the point from that first or second serve. I think rule needs alteration. He was moving to play the shot. You can't expect him with 2 tenths of a second not to play a shot then. Sounds ridiculous.

I replayed the fed one several times in slow mo. It seems the linesman did make the call during federer's follow through, but the ball had already left his racket. The laws of physics would tell us it did not effect the shot, but Makes sense that fed was upset given he was still in the swing. Tsisipas it was more obvious that the ball had already been struck.
Wow, Fed really crossed the line screaming at the umpire like that and even swinging his racket wildly threatening the umpire with violence .. but Tsitsipas is a true gentleman to calm both Fed and the umpire down and getting them to shake each other's hands, he really shows his maturity there ..

Both times the call came after the player had hit the shot. On these points easiest way to tell is to do what I mentioned first, pause the clip when the out call is made and look to see where the ball is. In the first clip the ball has already gone over the net (albeit only just) when the call was made and in the second clip when the line judge called out (and then corrected) the ball is already near the net

Seemed like the call was during Federer's return. Definitely affects play. I might be wrong. Federer is close to that linesman, so Federer heard him first. It's the linesmen's fault, really. The umpire was only enforcing that rule, which I do disagree on. I think the majority of tennis fans, do agree that you should replay a point in that situation when it was miscalled. A "late call" is a real term in tennis though. If the linesmen had not made the wrong call (it was obvious to me, that it was in, at least in the first case) then, this issue wouldn't have happened and they both would have kept on playing.

Tsitspas playes subtle mind games in this match, intentionally did his serve toss twice to slow down Roger and upset his rhythm. He is a good tennis player, he didn't have have to do ugly tricks.
That must be how gentlemen lose their cool - they both remained pretty calm actually. I thought that umpire was quite rude and didn't respect their right to question decisions.

Adiaf8oros so roger returned the serve even tho it was called out and tsitsipas challenges it and it turns out the ball eas in. so, they don’t replay the point and it’s automatically tsitsipas’ point.
