Great information, thank you! Could you please make a knee playlist so all the knee videos are all in one place? I have to get ready for my second knee replacement.
Please teach hanging heel traction from a doorknob. I have had 7 knee surgeries and the PT always focuses on pushing the knee straight with heel propping, weighted bags above knee, quad sets, lying prone with leg hanging off table, etc... after surgeries 5 and 6, I was locked at 18 degrees and that is where I was for surgery #7 (total knee) at 3 weeks. I found the technique for hanging my heel in a band that was wrapped around a door knob. I would watch a 30 minute TV show totally relaxed, no guarding and no pain. I did it twice a day and at the next PT appt, I was at 0 degrees and have maintained it. My PT wanted to know how I did it but I could tell he was miffed that it wasn't something he taught.
I'm 9 and 6 months post op on my left and right knee and still not straight. Intense pushing by PT and hanging weights off of knees at home is slowing getting it better. About 5 degrees on left and 9 on right. I never had staright knees before surgery. Frustrating.
Does this apply for someone who had their injury 10 years ago. Without any surgeries done? Cuz my healed leg range of motion isn’t the same, as the non-injured. Especially talking about the leg-extension.
Hello Brad and Bob I have a question that isn't exactly Taylor to this video it's more telling to seems like I have an injury to my piriformis muscle it's pinching on performance nerve I'm not quite sure exactly but I know it originates in the gluteus maximus it sends a pain down my leg and you said you guys said that it was stemming from muscles pinching another nerve I'm not quite sure in that case would you suggest working the muscle out or just maintaining the stretching and keeping it loose for example if I do squats or deadlifts would that help or hamper it in your opinion
I did not have surgery but I'm experiencing what they call Bentley as well it throws me off my balance I can't walk right now I'm in a wheelchair because I can't stand too long because my bitney has me like in a seated position when I'm standing so I was wanting how do I go by on tightening those hamstring muscles
How can I get to 0 before knee surgery? I’ve had pt on my knee for months and I still don’t have full extension! So, I’m afraid to have this knee replaced.
I want Bob and Brad back! These guys are probably nice, and they do seem like 'time traveling Bob and Brad' (it's kinda freaking me out)...BUT, they're not 'Bob and Brad' That wasn't much of a good-bye, either. I thought we were all friends, what happened? 😟
got hit by a car 7 months and broken leg,,got surgery, metal plate, screws on side of my right leg right under knee,7 monts ago, november 27 2020,now its june 1st and knee bends now but knee is not fully straight with leg, been going to therapy alot cause leg was straight after i got surgery for 3 months,dr got my leg to bend 90 degreese after 60 sessions, but needs to go another quarter the way and hurts when i bends it, its been bending, also i started to worked out on my bench to work on my hamstrings and caffs and all leg muscles my bench lets me do, also,if i put weights on top of my leg up of my knee or push my leg,it goes straight but then it bends a little again and leg dont stay straight especially shows when im standing and making it hard to walk,so im in a wheel chair since this happened 7 months ago,i use a walker also to get around,my left leg has been taking all my weight and is well built,i weigh 200pds and was weighing 230 before while i was at a stop sign until i started working out agin,i keep in shape,my right leg is just starting to get muscle in it,but wont stray straight when standing or laying,it only staightens when i push it straight, been dealing with alot of pain but i can handle it and will try whatever u think, even if u can send me a link to a video to help out,im not giving up on this and refuse any surgery because im willing to deal with pain by stretching my knee until my leg is straight, this is a very serious injury, need all help advice, please,,any opionions u think or help advice u can give,if anything u can also email me at virgilcosta1976123@gmail.com thank you

So, are Bob and Brad ever going to make more videos, or is that pretty much done?

@Bob&Brad I am guessing these exercises are good for a ACL recovery too?
