Anything Queen is fire! Especially live, as they gave fans extra oomph live. Freddie said they could just stay home if the fans wanted to hear the songs like they were played on their albums.
I got the "Night at the Opera" LP when I was 11 years old in 1975 and wore the grooves out on this song. Now I'm teaching it to my 11 year old grandson. I told him knowing Bohemian Rhapsody is just one of the skills everyone needs in life.
The opening sequence of harmonies was all Freddie Mercury singing by layering multiple tracks. The video shows all 4 members lip syncing, but it was actually just Freddie's vocals
Great reaction and no need to be apologetic for not having heard or seen a queen song or video. We all start somewhere. By the way, listening to Queen will always put you in a better mood
Have you seen Wayne’s World? The famous car scene?! Queen is in the Song Writer’s Hall of Fame & Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. All members of Queen have written #1 hit songs! No other band has accomplished that! Queen voted best live rock band of all time and Freddie Mercury best vocalist in the world! 2020 Brian May was voted #1 guitarist by Guitar Magazine surpassing Jimi Hendrix. They have over 15 albums not including their solo work & live performances! Amazing geniuses in the studio and masters of the live performance!! 👑🎼
Great reaction!! Thank you for being honest. I got no problem with someone reacting to a song that they've heard before, just be honest about it. I love that you don't stop the song too. You have a new subscriber!! 🤘Rock On!🤘
New subscriber, thanks for not stopping the video every bloody minute to make comments, your the only one I’ve found that leaves making comments until the end of video, the others are so friggen frustrating
We were spoiled for choice in the late 70’s-80’s but nobody performed like Queen. They always sold out because everyone recognized these guys were professional musical artists with every member able to write hit songs, Freddie able to sing every song with Roger’s amazing drumming and back up singing, Brian May’s roaring guitar solos and John Deacon’s bad ass bass rifts. Genius band.
Freddie's lover said that the song was about his coming out as gay. When he tells his momma that he killed a man, the man was his old straight persona, and he tells her he didn't mean to make her cry. The operatic "little silhouetto of a man" part is his first time going out to a gay bar. The rock part is becoming defiant ("So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?") In the end he comes to terms with it ("Nothing really matters").
(I think my comment was deleted so sorry if it posted twice...) There's a nice 3 part mini-documentary on UA-cam about the making of the song and video... I've watched it a few times because it's just so fascinating! It's called "Inside the Rhapsody".. first part link: ua-cam.com/video/MizPUYNrAyI/v-deo.html. As usual, great reaction!! Thank you!
Love the reaction, check out White Queen (beautiful), and you’ve done One Vision so you might want to check out The Making of One Vision & see how the guys work together.
Love love yur reactions to the legend Freddie Mercury and Queen. Pls react to Green Day crowd sings bohemian rhapsody. Absolutely phenomenal. 30+ yrs after freddie passed and his music is still as phenomenal as back then. The audience sings this whole song. And if u look in the upper left clouds, it looks exactly like Freddie watching and conducting
So I have a queen masks queen poster I have the biography I also have the Jim Hutton book I’m in love with him he’s the greatest of all time nothing compares I was born in 85 so I didn’t get to see live aid I was literally like five months old But you really need to react Two I want to break free and if you already did I’m sorry I am a new subscriber but I want to break free Amazing
A master piece all in Freddie's mind.

First video ever made
Everyone in the UK knows all the words to this song almost from birth. It's a requirement for British citizenship
It should be a requirement for citizenship on Earth
I believe you!
Hahaha!! And Live Aid should be required viewing, too!
I agree
Yep, we sure do!
