- Trader Joe's released a few NEW items this week, including the Papas Rellenas and Peas and Carrots sour gummies, so you know my husband and I had to pick them up. We give you our honest review and include additional items that we haven't had in a long time.

A lot of the bodegas, Puerto Rican restaurants sell the Rellanas as an appetizer or you can buy them alone. We get them as sides to a dinner. They are great.
Aji = A-HEE (J is like H in Spanish). Rellenos = RE-YE-NOS . There is no tilde over the n so it's pronounced like n in English. Google translate has an aural feature so you can hear how to pronounce other languages. I use it all the time.
The green chili and cheese tamales are a staple. Love them with either pico de gallo or tomatillo sauce and a bit of sour cream. Yum.
Fall for me, the colors, the pumpkins, and the changing tree colors. I also just love the unfolding of the holiday season. How it starts to peek out at us as Fall is building.

Absolutely my favorite season is Fall. I absolutely love the change of seasons, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and actually, I love when it starts getting darker earlier. Fall weather here in San Francisco is always really beautiful.
I'm a fall baby, so fall is my favorite time of year. I live in the South, so summers are brutal, and winter can produce anything from tornadoes to ice storms. Spring can also send us tornadoes and ice storms. Fall is stable, and the weather is perfect.

Absolutely spring for me! It’s when our wildflowers and daffodils bloom again. Then our backyard vineyard suddenly goes from winter dormant to crazy growth in a matter of weeks. I’m in Temecula California so summer is a no for me. It’s too hot! I’m a British Expat!

My favorite season is fall because, originally, I'm from the Midwest and now live in Arizona. The weather starts to cool down, the leaves change color and fall. I can finally turn off the AC and open doors and windows. I love the smells of fall and burning leaves. And I love the cinnamon and spice types of coffee and desserts and the hearty types of food that we usually crave in the fall, like soups. I got married in the fall, so I think that it's the most romantic time of the year. I was born in the winter and I'm not too crazy about winter, except that I look forward to it now because I live in Arizona.
Fall is definitely my favorite. I love the weather, smells, flavors, Halloween, atmosphere, etc.
I absolutely love summer the best! With all the rain we get in Oregon, we really appreciate the warmer weather. Also I love baseball and yes, my birthday is in the summer.
I love Spring because everything warms up. I can't wait for locally grown & ripened asparagus, lemons, strawberries, melons, cherries etc to begin their entrance into produce isles and farmer's markets. I love lemon cakes and Easter.
Strangely enough, I'm a Fall baby and I am not too fond of the darkened skies/weather, fall gourds/produce and pumpkin everything.
Fall is my favorite! Living in NC, our summers are so humid and obnoxious that it’s nice when the temperature starts to drop and get cooler. I love the holidays and all of the gatherings with friends and family.
My birthday is August so it’s not in the same season 😊
I used to love the veggie pad thai during covid… i would eat it every day for lunch… and then i grew sick of it but i remember it being my fav item at tj’s!!
Summer 🎉 yes my birthday is end of June and I was raised in Chicago so I loved it was warm for my birthday. Have lived over 30 yrs in Phoenix and still love hot weather. Hate cold weather, I never warm up!!! 19:06

I’m a fall baby and an earth sign so fall is my favorite! It starts to get cool and the earth is getting ready for the upcoming change! Best time for long walks. Thx for the taste test, which I always enjoy. But eating chicken in front of chickens- cracked me up! 😂

My birthday is in July, but Summer is my LEAST favorite season. I don't enjoy the heat. My favorite season is Fall. Being from the Northeast, I can tell you Fall here is typically AMAZING!! 💕
I live in Kentucky and my birthday is September. My favorite season is summer. I like warm/hot weather, the days being long, tending to my garden and canning, swimming and having my son out of school. NOTHING is better than summer to me.

Portos has delicious potato balls as well as cheese balls (cheese & green chili). They are located in several areas of So CA & soon to be in Downtown Disney. Can also order them to be delivered frozen. Great taste test as always❤
My favorite season is fall, I love how it cools down (I live in Pheonix), I go back to where Igrew up more (White Mountains in Arizona)and see the leaves change, and it is the kickoff of holidays. My birthday is in late January and I love that season too, because I do all the fun birthday things for like a month, but I feel like that is the winding down of the holiday season. So fall is the kickoff and February is the winding down.

I agree with Katie. I'm in the midwest so enjoy all the 4 seasons. Fall has the smells, foods, crisp air, and best of all the gorgeous colors! Hubby would say football!!
My favorite season is Summer!! My birthday is in January- I live in Utah so winter 🥶 is in full swing and by this time we are ready for warmer temperatures!!😊🌸🌞
My favorite is Spring. I live an area where there are tons of cherry trees and it makes me so happy to walk around and see blossoms everywhere. (Fall is a close second-- my birthday is in October!)

I like Spring. I love the new beginnings of flowers and trees blooming. Sunshine in abundance. The bugs are not all out yet. It makes me feel joy to know that the cold winter has passed. My birthday is in February, but winter is not my favorite season. I'd say it's a tie between spring and fall. As you said, you can put on more clothes, but you can only take off so much. As a native Northern Californian, I really can't complain about any of our weather, compared to other places.
Birthday in June but Fall and Spring are my seasons. The variety of greens in springs and the beautiful foliage in the Fall in Northern New England. I like it when you revisit some of the other products.

Fun taste test. I’m always amazed how polite your fur babies are. Definitely will be trying the sauce, it looks so easy and delicious. Summer is my favorite season, the hotter the better. I grew up with snow and tornadoes and that was it for me. My birthday is in March. Have wonderful weekend 😊

I was born and raised in Oregon. Summer and fall were my favorite seasons. I moved to Arizona and lived in the Phoenix area for 33 years. I loved winter (of course)! I retired in Northern Colorado last year. I love winter and cold weather (I know, I know) but I think I love late spring the most. We will plant a garden on June 1st. I can’t wait!

My favorite season is Autumn. My birthday is in July, which as a kid was great because I could really have a birthday celebration since the weather was prime for outdoor activities. However, I don't like being hot or cold so I really prefer the "in between" seasons, if you will for the more mild temperatures. But autumn is my favorite because of Halloween. Halloween is my favorite holiday.
Great taste test! My favorite season used to be fall but since I have anemia, I am cold all the time and now my favorite season is late spring early summer. It's just easier for me to actually feel comfortable in my own room and not freeze to death LOL and my birthday is in November so it's not when my birthday is but when the sun is out and warms my skin and I don't shiver constantly, that's my favorite these days :-)

I live in North Carolina, so we are lucky to experience all four seasons, and they are all great in their own ways. With that being said, fall is my absolute favorite season. Nothing beats the gorgeous leaves changing, the weather getting cooler. The humidity from summer goes away and the air is cool and crisp. I also really love spring, that is a close second. My birthday is in June, technically still spring, but it’s so hot here that it feels like summer. Like you Katie, summer is my least favorite season for all the reasons you said. In NC, the summers are very hot and humid, not fun!

I lived in Fort Lauderdale for over 40 years, so I had no seasons. Moving to North Carolina I now get to experience seasons. I love fall and I am a winter person. Everything I needed within 10 minutes of my house. I don’t have that here. But for the first time in 40 years, I’ve been wearing boots sleeping in flannel pajamas and really enjoying cold weather.

Fall is my favorite season as well. I live in NYC and I like that it's not as hot and humid but still warm enough to not have to wear a jacket. I also love all the pumpkin stuff. I am a January baby and Winter is my next favorite season. I love the holiday season and I love snow although with global warming we don't get nearly as much as we used to.

Well, I'm a Fall person born in Oct. 20th I love the fall n winter weather. I can hardly handle the hot n heat. I live in B'ham Wash. Perfect for me love rain cloudiness n wind to blow lightly. This is Penny, Mark's wife. My favorite season is Spring, the days get longer and the weather is warmer, but still cool enough to be active. If I had the power, I'd include the first 3 weeks of summer. I love when the schools are out and the kids are playing outside. I'd end the Spring on July 5th, one day after my birthday.

This is Mark - I agree with Penny. My favorite day is July 4, when the entire country celebrates Penny's birthday (right?). My own birthday is in February. (my least favorite day is probably "Trader Dick's" birthday! )
I hope that you've had an opportunity to visit Smog City's brewery in Torrance (I think they have other locations, too). Their great beers taste even better fresh out of the tap.
My favorite season is winter and I have a winter birthday, so you may be onto something!! I love the crisp, cold air in winter and I love snow! Our winters in MI are much milder than they used to be but I always enjoy our cold spells.
i used to live next to chickens. One day i was at my hibachi grilling chicken. I went inside for a minute....when i came back, the chickens had wandered over and were pulling and dragging the chicken off my grill.....i love TJ....thanks for all of your videos and reviews.

Papa rellenas are very popular in Puerto Rico. And I’m assuming some other Latin countries too. Puerto Rico is a very underrated foodie destination. But definitely not for vegetarians or anyone on a diet 😂😂 because pretty much everything is deep fried and the poplar dishes are pork and seafood (mainly crab and cod fish)
Being in Buffalo, I enjoy the spring. After having a long winter, 50s and 60s in spring feels amazing. And everything becoming alive again…
Also, I don’t mind you revisiting items. If someone is uninterested, they can skip through, like I do with the alcohol lol
I was born exactly two weeks before Christmas but my favorite time of year is Spring because it of Mother Nature's renewal; blooming flowers, new baby birds and animals being born, etc. Also, I live in Texas so the weather is warm but not scorching yet. I'm a native California girl and miss the year round great weather.
I love winter because I live in south Florida and the humidity is lower (good hair days!), we get great temperatures, and Christmas is in the winter!!! My birthday is Valentine's Day, yes, winter!
I was born in late winter but my temperament is more compatible with fall. Love the feeling of a new start in September and the uptick in cultural activities. Always gives me a kind of energy and optimism. And then there's Halloween.
