AVRI stands for American Vintage Reissue, basically reissue of the 62 model. Think they started reissuing in the 90s and continue till today, at least 90s are the earliest reissues models i have seen. cheers
@@medicollie The first AVRI (American Vintage Reissues) were Telecasters in the early 80's. After that came Stats and then in 1982 thru 1984 the '57 P-Bass and '62 Jazz Bass reissues were introduced. These were the last instruments to come from the Fullerton plant and are very very very close in terms of workmanship to the Custom shop basses. In fact, several of the old hands at Fender stepped in to build the first reissue instruments. The Fullerton basses are becoming rare and fairly valuable. In 1985 Fender moved to the current Corona factory.

I don't think it is. It's an American Vintage 62, manufactured in 1992
