I think they need to make a distinction between satisfying and epic. I would say that the Rose and Jack kisses are epic rather than satisfying. It's like a Romeo and Juliet romance. We just know it's gonna end in tragedy and that adds a poignancy to the whole story. Whereas satisfying is more like Kate and Luc kissing in the vineyard at the end of French Kiss or when Sophie and Charlie kiss at the end of Letters To Juliet (I find vineyards romantic, sue me)
I can’t believe they didn’t include the kiss between Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in The Mummy (1999)! That scene was at the end of the movie. It was bittersweet and funny at the same time because when they kissed, Evie’s brother (John Hannah) says “Oh, please!” 🤣 It’s such a funny moment and I crack up every time I watch the film! They should have included this kiss!
Not to mention the nose rubbing! You so right - the romance in those movies was the perfect combination of comedy and sappy gush I also love how natural they make their relationship look in the second one. You really feel like they've been married for some time but still in love (and watching the kid and Jonathan's reactions was twice as fun as watching Jonathan's reactions was in the first movie)

I love Somewhere in Time. The moment Jane is running towards Christopher screaming 'Richard' after he came back makes me bawl every time.
#5 is beautiful. Just this clip brought tears to my eyes. I can’t imagine the way the guy’s friend outed him by taking screenshots of the correspondence between his schoolmate and the special young man in his life.

On the other hand Kevin kline on the French kiss movie, the kiss he gives to the girl while there were on the train... Wow that was a great kiss I've ever seen on a movie
I also love the scene at the end where they're kissing in their vineyard. And I'm not usually one for soppily romantic endings, but they pulled it off.

I totally agree with Titanic being the first one. That's the best romantic movie ever made
I think they need to make a distinction between satisfying and epic.
I would say that the Rose and Jack kisses are epic rather than satisfying. It's like a Romeo and Juliet romance. We just know it's gonna end in tragedy and that adds a poignancy to the whole story.
Whereas satisfying is more like Kate and Luc kissing in the vineyard at the end of French Kiss or when Sophie and Charlie kiss at the end of Letters To Juliet (I find vineyards romantic, sue me)

I can’t believe they didn’t include the kiss between Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in The Mummy (1999)! That scene was at the end of the movie. It was bittersweet and funny at the same time because when they kissed, Evie’s brother (John Hannah) says “Oh, please!” 🤣 It’s such a funny moment and I crack up every time I watch the film! They should have included this kiss!

I also love how natural they make their relationship look in the second one. You really feel like they've been married for some time but still in love (and watching the kid and Jonathan's reactions was twice as fun as watching Jonathan's reactions was in the first movie)
