They had a house inside a big one in Copenhagen back in 2016ish. Then I found a house a couple build in one up in the NORTH of Norway, man it’s impressively mind blowing beautiful. They are able to grow tomatoes underneath the northern lights. I had a buddy who was crazy about “earth ships” and moved to Idaho to build one but those dome homes take the zero energy house to an entire new level. Humans been using domes in Alaska , Siberia, Canada for thousands of years. Its cool we are evolving the idea in 2020s! Jetsons here I come!

Ziptiedomes its a great source of knowledge about geodesic domes.
This wood ziptie domes are really great idea as well as the plastic pipes ones.

We made one of those in middle school one year in Industrial Tech class. I like the use of the zip ties on yours. Thanks for sharing!

@@kingmasterlord In Clarksville Indiana. They've got rid of that class in most schools. Pretty sad. I think I retained most from that class than any other

I like your hub solution. Been looking at pre-mades, and they're all stupidly expensive. Thought about going the Zip-Tie Domes way, but hereabouts even 1/2" pvc is almost twice as much as 2x4s.

Very interesting design. Is it zip-tie dome variation or that is your own idea of connecting? It will be interesting to see how stable is construction when you build it on bigger scale.

From " Bucky Works " by J.Baldwin ....the ultimate membrane material science breakthrough is cited as E.T.F.E or Ethylene Tetra Fluro Ethylene .....which is recyclable/ ( non biodegradable as an advantage in extended use ) non combustible ( though it can be melted ) water and grease repellent non stick and is requiring sixty pounds pressure to enlarge a knife wound . Source : Dupont ....and available in various weights .

I like your hubs. But, you moved the camera around so much and so fast that I got dizzy and had to stop watching. Next time, please, slow and steady.
