Looking good, Joe, you AND the work👀🦾🇺🇸👍😎
I try
It’s perfect
!!!!! Zip. Tie. Domes. !!!!!
Great Job! I made one of these a long time ago and know how much work is involved. The thing that sticks in my mind is how tricky it was to keep track of the compound miters, thanks to a mitre saw that only tilted to one side, not both :) For larger sized spheres i would rip the wood lengthwise to create an edge bevel cut a basic miter on one end of each strut and leave them a little long, assemble them on a jig. Cutting the excess off with a handsaw to match the edge bevel. That would provide a (flat) planar surface making it easier to attach a rigid covering.
Nice work keep it up I'm always waiting for more
Interesting, Joe 👀 I'll be watching ‼️🇺🇸🦾Nice, Joe, Very nice 👍😎
"Im gonna complain anyway, what the hell" 😂😂 I enjoyed watching you work.
Go get em, Joe!
Great work keep it up I have a question if you don't mind can you tell me how you set it up to form the bowsi love the look I just would like it know how you layed them out thanks for sharing your work and information keep it up can't wait to see it finished
I have some more videos on that I will post within a week or two.
Thanks keep it up
what are the miter angles? Looks great!
I will hove to look it up . I forgot 🥺
I like your hub solution. Been looking at pre-mades, and they're all stupidly expensive. Thought about going the Zip-Tie Domes way, but hereabouts even 1/2" pvc is almost twice as much as 2x4s.
Cool.
Great Idea! drilling a hole at ends, prep ahead so hole and the end cuts match eventual angle with pvc pipe, seems much less complicated construction methood for small garden green houses than making those also wonderful triangles and wood glue + screw together methood for building geodesic structures... I think I'm going to build one of each just for fun! and then in the process I am learn a whole lot before building a really big one to live in for many many years on my own land... Thank you for the inspiration!!! -tibor
thats a pretty neat connection method
