So cool. I thought they were going to help people out of the rockets, so that they can walk down the steps, but then they pushed them down the track. Lol! 😆
You are right. It was so much fun! We have been stuck two different times on Space Mountain. Thanks for watching. Please check out my hundreds of Disney and Disneyland videos. If you haven’t subscribed, please consider doing so. Thanks again...
Disney does a phenomenal job training their cast members. And most of us know that, hence why we do things like clapping when they get an attraction back up and running. Disney wouldn’t be how it is without them
Built in 1975, this is the oldest coaster in the State of Florida. It is actually a concept Walt Disney came up with himself but he died in 1966 before his dream could be realized. Disney continued with the concept and after the park opened, work began to build this coaster which was the most advanced for its time with a computer controlling it (a first) which allows them to space the cars apart automatically in 22 zones, which is a lot for even today. In 2009 this was even more automated with the last three zones before returning to the station to be computer controlled, allowing the computer to stop cars and then advance them if there is a hold up in the station. This is the manual restart with too many cars, thanks for sharing.
This is Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Single track coaster. The one at Magic Kingdom is double or mirror tracks. Much like the Matterhorn Bobsleds In Anaheim. The first tubular steel constructed roller coaster in the western hemisphere.
@@Buc_Stops_Here I searched for lights on Space Mountain and watched a couple of them thinking this doesn't look like DL! It was MK which I have never been to before. No wonder I didn't recognize it.
As Normal As It Gets I ride Space Mountain a lot so I have a lot of experience with stackings 😂 usually it’s when i’m in line but it’s happened twice while i’m actually on the ride.
If you look at the footage when it switches at 3:15, it switches from the sons camera to the dad's camera. You can tell by the side of the track the camera is on before & after the time stamp!👍 Hello from Phoenix Arizona!🔥
It was somewhere between 15 minutes to a half-an-hour. It was a lot of fun and we got to stay on the Rocket and ride it again once it was fixed. Thanks for watching!
Thematically they should flip the zones number so you can hear 10..9..8.7.. :) . Also attention space mountain this is space command, zone ...is going to be reset. :chuckles:
@@BlitzDoors01 It just suddenly stopped, then the lights came on. I now understand why it takes Space Mountain so long to come back up, once it goes down. Clearing all the rockets takes a long time.
All future videos can be found on The Horton channel. Please check it out and subscribe.
I love it when you're back in the station, the lights turn off, and the spaceship sounds kick in.
Very cool!
I love when the ride messes up and they let you go again!!
+Ash L Yes, so much fun! Thanks for watching. For more Disneyland videos check out my newer channel, The Horton Channel.

It was actually more fun, that it broke down. Thanks for watching!
@@asnormalasitgets2819 you're welcome.

This guy could be military. His adherence to procedure is incredible.

@@johnpurdum8126 Yes, Anaheim is simpler, smaller than the one in Orlando for sure. Did not realize that this was that park.

crazy at 10:44 they kept the old sign backstage
Yes they did, so cool!
I’ve broken down on this twice. Once at zone 15 and once at zone 11.
+Jacob Edward Lynch How do you know the different zones of Space Mountain?

As Normal As It Gets Also I talk to a lot of Space Mountain cast members online. I’m obsessed with its operation
I only got to ride this once for its full experience. All other times it either breaks down, or lights are on....
+Shawn Elliott Space Mountain does seem to break down often.
**gets stuck again in another break zone**
At first I thought the same thing but it’s an editing error.

omg you got stuck in zone 9! You’re so lucky!

How long were you guys waiting to be pushed?
