I remember meeting Dax when we were going to Spokane Falls Community College. He was about 18 years old common dating the love of his life, sweet lady you would marry and have beautiful children with. Just as sweet as kid you could ever hope to meet. I can still remember sitting outside in the grass remember an afternoon sitting out in the grass soaking up the sun just talking and enjoying life. The whole world life I'm glad the head of us. Very sweet and kind. I was headed to spring break California and I asked him if you wanted me to bring anything. He asked me to bring back a piece of driftwood from the ocean. I agreed, and probably delivered on my promise when I came back. After college we lost touch. About 15 years later, by some twist of fate I happened to go somewhere where there's a Pianist playing amazing music that touched my soul. As I was leaving, I had to get my compliments to the young man, believer attempt and of course purchase the CD. When I saw the name on the CD I was ecstatic! He didn't recognize me either:-) when he realized who I was be exchanged a huge hug and some laughs. What touch my heart the most who said he told me he's still had that piece of driftwood:-) his loss is deep. Most of all for those he love Janelle closest to his heart. Grateful to have his music to remember home by and by Hemet by
I remember Dax when he was a kid always saying " I'm gonna be a rock star" when I learned he had passed away I was devastated such a good hearted person and one hell of a talent!! You will be missed Dax
I am so grateful I met Dax in 2000 at the Ontario Mills Mall. I play piano also, and it was like we spoke to eachother in music. I didnt know him well but from meeting him just once I felt a true connection with an amazing human being
I only know if him because of a chance trip to my local mall, he just happened to be performing. I bought 2 of his cd's and have loved his music since. I just wish I could find more videos of him playing because he was amazing to watch.

@@houndsofroses3727 I hate when people say insensitive things, especially when they don't know what they're talking about. He didn't commit suicide-- it was an accidental overdose. And believe it or not, there's a difference. Think about his loved ones reading misinformation about him before you write something like that in the future. Not cool.

@@jenwilliamson5128 Overdoses are not accidental... if you're given drugs you should know how much you're taking. It's such a shame x
