    dax was my friend.
we swapped our own cd's when he was playing the mall i was workin at for like a week and he came back with some awesome advice and actually said he really dug it. and i told him that his song "rain" is the best piano song ive ever heard. he didnt deserve to die. he can walk into a room and he comes off intimidating to see him, but the way he carries himself makes you feel like you've known him forever. rip buddy

I met Dax with my kids in a Portland mall and was blown away by him. My son Perrie fell in love with his music, we bought a couple of CDs. Perrie and I listened to him all the time, til our CDs were stolen. A month ago we wanted to see what he'd been up to....we both sat in shock when we read the news. He made such an impression, I'm glad we were fortunate enough to meet him.

I met Dax many years ago in Ontario Mills in Ontario, CA. He was just sitting there playing away and it was amazing to watch him and listen to how awsome his music truely is. I had the oportunity to talk to him musician to musician and I can truely say the world has lost another great musician and person. Such a kind person with beautiful music insight. Thanks Dax for inspiring myself and many others! You are truely missed. Godspeed

Erin did you know him personally? I am a songbird and I am I am older then he is. And I've been in the music business all my life. What was he like? I feel his soul was as beautiful as his song,
      Just Breathtaking!

...look at all the people that love him?
I feel so bad for all that knew him.
I truly hope he can feel the love from all of us?...
I remember I had my chance stumbled upon a video of Lord of the Rings which they dubbed his song into the video here on UA-cam. I could not believe my ears oh, I am a songbird myself. And I a diamond in the rough when I see one.

I was very fortunate to have met Dax. He would play the piano in the mall during the Christmas Season and it was unreal. He would play everywhere, he would even drag a piano out to the street and play. Spokane is not the same without him. He was an extremely cool person.

i was at the spokane mall and when i saw him playing it was like it was as easy as breathing it was so amazing but when i went to talk to him he was so chill and reminded me of just how everyone in the world should relate to each other he joked about how hed learned on a crap piano and how you always have to start with the awfullness and work your way up he was the most amazing man id ever met and i listen to the random and the purpose every night before bed

I have a few hours of footage I shot of Dax in Spokane. I engineered and produced one of his albums- I was very privileged to know him. And his music, so painful - so beautiful, still brings me to tears at times. There were so many who wished to exploit Dax and his talent; so many disguised as friends who had nothing but personal gain in their hearts- these people helped drive him out to a place where his friends could not surround and protect him from his demons. I am still bitter about that.

    • @SickPuppYTuber

      @jettswan223 5 років тому

      Really?
... I am truly sorry. I am a songbird myself and I just can't get over how young he was. It blows my mind because he is such an old soul. He was already seasoned/ meaning, Not only was he Beyond his years but, his talent perceived him.
What was he like if you don't mind me asking? I don't mean to be intrusive.

Dax was an amazing man! My daughter and I saw him many times times at the different malls. He would always ask how we were doing. We were also blessed to go to one of his concerts at the Old Church in Portland. Your music Dax soothes my soul and brought my daughter out of her depression years ago. You are still greatly missed to this day. I will never stop listening to your music. You were an amazing, talented compassionate person. Your music lives on Dax :)

I was just browsing through UA-cam after listen to Newton Faulkner when Dax came to mind. I thought... hell I wonder what he is up to and if he is on UA-cam. The first video I see is this one and I read the following: "A great song done by an incredible man... He has passed before his time.. Let us never forget his music..."
    This makes me sad.
Peace to you Dax and to your family may you also feel peace in knowing how he touched others, even if only by his music.

It’s hard cuz help has been offered and I don’t want to hurt anyone so I watch this talent over and over again saying this is such a waist still I can’t stop the thoughts.
