The scariest thing about R6 ops are not their guns but the training they received. Imagine crushing molten bricks using your head, that's just a normal day in a Spetsnaz unit whilst other AK operators barely got hurt during training/tutorial levels.
And yet the people of Terra are much stronger and durable then Tachanka who is considered very strong. I do agree that R6 have a great amount of training and skill under their belts.

While far from dooming Terra itself (We ourselves had to research guns for a long ass time to produce what we have today) I can also see the whole advanced weaponry thing fall flat on its face, cause just like humans....there is no gunpowder on Terra, and originium definetly does not count seeing as you need Arts to utilise it properly, heck,the freaking firecrackers that scare Nian and Dusk are also arts activated! So I think even if some gunsmithing corp gets its hands on one of the R6 weapons it will get bottlenecked by the nonexistence of a decent propellant. Even the substitute made by Sesa and Closure is kinda meh even by AK standarts. Very excited on the weapon video, cheers!
If that were time travel, then weapon technology also devolved cuz they used swords and rapiers rather than a ray gun that can shoot and destroy the sun
Crossbow ops could easily do the same dps as gun ops in arknights, also just like originium doesn't exist where rainbow came from, the elements needed to make cordite/smokeless gunpowder doesn't exist in terra.
My favorite part in all of the Rainbow operator's file is in the Lord's file, when they specifically states that no Sankta operators are allowed to make contact with Tachanka's DP-28

Hey, I don't think Patriot's natural physical strength applies to a normal gun's bullets. If anything, I'd be worried about Patriot doing an Ultrakill, hitting my units with bullets he "parried"
Aside from everything you’ve said in this video, there’s another big problem with RI reverse engineering the guns; many RI operators swear allegiance to different entities. Handing out new technologies to their operators is the same as giving it to everyone else for free.
yeah most operators aren't solely RI and more so contractual mercenaries or allied factions lending operators. It was quite a shock to know how much time passed since Jessica first came to RI and when Jessica grew up and got an alter
It's very interesting how Arknights handled a cross-over event realistically. This is like the real-life equivalent of anime characters Isekai'ing their way into our world, bringing _real_ magical weapons and spells with them. Some people would probably go, "Wow cool! Magic!" but the implications would be *terrifying.* War-lords and scientists alike would be panicking to capture them and figure out how magic works, so that they could use them to make military weapons. And if their secrets got out, the entire world would have to either adapt or perish, to the new level of destruction that would surely follow.
Don't we also have an operator who's like Thanos? As Blaze said to Rosmontis, "I'll get someone to replace you. How about Misery? He's better at assautl ops than you. He'll wave his hand and it'll be all done."

Most people here say the science and periodic elements of Terra is different from Earth. However, going to Siesta Event there is a volcano, which we can extract iron and do some chemistry to end up products like nitrocellulose. But yes if this wasn't the case then theres higher chance that chemistry in Terra is probably outdated compared to Earth
@@overlord4404 Knowing that Operators have gotten woozy due to Loxic Kohl reinforces this in my mind. Alcohol is such a common thing in a lab. However I suspect reason is that sulfur is usually found contaminated by Originium. The world building of Siesta proves that volcanoes where sulfur would be found can cause Catastrophes. It might be considered a waste product of mining and too hazardous, pointless, and expensive to extract to study.
This may be a theory. . . I think the inhabitants of terra still hasn't discovered gunpower since most mining company focuses on mining originium. Also since there's a catastrophe for like every 1~3? Months? Mining won't be as smooth for to discover new substances than ours.
Not as much mining, as it's some chinese dude in the past that mixed sulfur ore with burnt wood, honey and some oxidant trying to create medicine, thus "inventing" the Gunpowder... T'is easier to imagine an accident like that wouldn't have occurred in Terra, people won't discover an incendiary/explosive substance as reliable/stable/easy to carry as gunpowder, and thus relied on the magic metal powder instead...
The odd thing is, they do have advanced chemistry, producing products like polyester. One would think that they would've stumbled onto cordite long before ever mastering polyester production. Even without gunpowder, inhabitants of terra should've easily stumbled onto nitrate based explosives and recognized their value compared to the expensive, finicky, and toxic originium.

Man, Arknights world is already pretty fucked up. Now imagine a child without any Arts capability use a gun equivalent to our AK-47, Cheap but still pretty reliable, definitely not a good idea
Side event? The fuck are you on?! That alone would affect ALL future gameplay and storylines. Ranger, armed with a semi auto anti-tank canon would make him a 6 star instantly. Literally all melee and medic operators would become useless now that even a peasant can inflict fatal wounds at the random squeeze of a trigger.
I really enjoyed this Collab. The story was actually pretty damn good. Especially when compared to collab in E7 which was going on at the same time and was so bad its hard to even call it a collab. Ahem, but I digress. The story was really good, and while then ending was sorta lame considering that while every text scene was fairly long the ending one lasted just few lines and nothing of importance was said it was a bit dissapointing. But what I really like to think about it that Team Rainbow would share their knowledge and weapon tech with Rhodes Island tech operators and possibly they might recreate some of it. For example creating primitive gunpowder aint that hard if you have the right ingredients. And since they do have quite high level of tech, further rafining it to the same level as the one used in our weapons should not be hard. That way every operator of RO could carry a firearm that is not arts dependant. That would drastically shift the distribution of power in Terra ofc and would put them at risk of being assaulted by other organisations purely to obtain the technology. With that, each weapon would have to include a self destruct device in case it falls into the wrong hands. Same with other stuff. It was shown that the guys had mechanical skill regarding stuff like radio, car engine etc. All of that could be put to good use. And best part is > If they could create a substitute for the originium technology, over time (it would take long, lets be real) spread it and thus reduce the originium dependancy, that by itself would decrease the need for it, thus reduce the amount needed to be mined and people getting exposed and infected. Yeah cool stuff. Now ofc none of that will happen, this was just an Isekai collab of elite team in another world xd, but still its something cool to think about :)
That's pretty dang interesting but I have some disagreements with your conclusion. Basically I don't think it's possible for Team Rainbows Weapons to be duplicated in Terra. Rhodes Island isn't a hundred percent certain of this so they are acting on the side of caution. When it comes to the physics of arknights, we know that the laws of physics are different in isekai land. I don't think there's a suitable alternative to nitrocellulose in Terra just yet. The originium powder is a very poor substitute. Also it would be pretty simple to make compressed air guns, they're pretty lethal as well and with a tank you could fire bullets pretty rapidly, dunno why they haven't done that. Also I would hazard a guess that unless they make gatling guns or some gun ships our firearms wouldn't be very useful. Arts will still be a necessity in combat and the precision sankta have over their bullets would outclass our own. But just a thought :) And thanks for the great videos
Chemistry is one of a few branches the people in Arknights world didnt need to explore/develop. It exists on Terra just that nobody can create it with current knowledge. The main reason for this is almost everything is fueld/produced with or by Originium fueld things/powers. They never had a need to use something else because of Originium. Which is why when they find ancient artifacts like Rhodes Islands core structure or the Sargophagus they dont have any idears how it might work or how it does work because they never did research outside/withouth Originium in mind/work-process. And we know it exists because of the Volcana Summer Event. Majority of Terras lack/primative aspects of certain things comes down to Originium. Because of that they never had any needs to think outside of the box. Which is why they hit a wall everytime they face something supernatural or technological that works withouth/isnt related to Originium.
Imagine a Battle Cats croosover All the operators helping the cats and doges defeat Nyandam, the demon king and his army. The Battle Cats will teleport themselves there and there may be a battle with The Demon King But, Nyandam has one trick up his sleeve, he can summon previously dead enemies to his aid such as in the Uncanny Legends subchapter Space-Time Distortion, where he summons the previous legends. Imagine having to fight Patriot and Faust again. Thats what nyandam will do Combine this with his MASSIVE ARMY(Akus, Relics, Zombies, Crazed/Maniacs, Barons) he is not going to be easy.... By the way Imagine how the cat and enemies from Battle Cats will look like and do?

I think rather then tactical and power, what Rhodes island lack compared to armies is their sheer numbers. (Meanwhile she was losing the power battle, frostnova was unleashing everything she got and it was a suicide move.)
that's a 1 v 1 we're talking about prob 200+ with all kind of range of attacking and not like how the reunion attack which is like slowly but like 50 in the first movement to overwhelm
Individual strength is much more of a factor in Terra than it is on Earth due to how originium interacts with the Infected, but in terms of sheer mass-producible implements for slaughtering the general masses with brutal efficiency gunpowder firearms are pretty terrifying precisely because our modern weapons technology is built upon the assumption that all people are weak fleshbags. Also they apparently do not have breaching rounds that blow through fortified walls, which is something.
I want to know more about strength comparison of human and most terra race,the current event explain that sarkaz is physically stronger than average human,and they can even take a few bullet without backing down,and there's also skadi with her big sword and blaze with her strength.its seems like all race in terra just superior to human in some way

Imagining Kroos having a gun instead of a Crossbow has become the most scariest thing I have ever imagined second to knowing a little about what happens if an infected body is not cremated or burnt.
imagine that some high rank sankta of those strange supper secret kind of organization saw something during sargon events, and after that, investigating the scene they find... a bullet stuck into a wall... a bullet case... or even a whole bullet with even the gunpowder... man that would mess up a lot of things on Terra, not because at all of the firearm technology, byt because all that would led to investigate the origins of R6 and ther technology... what if terra discovered there is an alternate universe? or what the past looked like
If our weapons (guns) are better than Arknight's guns than in theory humanity could defeat the Arknight's world in a war. Think about it some caster & other arts user like Eyjafjalla for example takes time for their skills to fully charge while a gun depending what kind of gun takes seconds to aim, fire & reload. And if your not convince keep in mind that guns are rare in the Arknight world while guns are very common in our world of many types heck our bombs are probably better than Arknight's bombs.
The scary thing is, chemical-based explosives such as gunpowder (especially black powder) are extremely easy to make. You can literally make gunpowder with volcanic ash or iron pyrites (the rock iron is smelted from), burnt trees, and saltpeter is usually found with limestone, which is also common in nature. The current modern ratio of 75% nitrate,15% charcoal, 10% sulfur. It's wouldn't take long for someone to make the smokeless variant which requires nitrocellulose, (which is made also from sugar and sulfur). Frankly, Team Rainbow should know how bullets are made, the chemicals that are used, and how to put them together and take them apart for emergency situations. I learned during my wildland survival safety course how to use a bullet to make a fire by pulling out the actual bullet, rolling up the powder and primer in tissue before striking it with a rock attached to a stick to make it explode in a pile of tinder. Or just igniting the powder with flint if you have it.
Where is that line about "the R6 style of bullets being not as lethal as they were on Earth" explicitly said? Conventional bullets being less powerful than arts-based ones makes a lot of sense while still being mass producible (and still having reason to keep it a secret). I am seriously looking forward to the weapon analysis video, I'm glad the writers kept the character's arms grounded yet still powerful and diverse as arguably that carefully crafted freedom is what gives us so many unique operators.
Tldr, trying to investigate and going full detail in understanding Team Rainbow will be like studying aliens who work with different physics, and it will only be a waste of effort since there will be no guaranteed that we can understand them.

The world of Terra is safe for now since according to the crazy doctor guy he says that the laws of chemistry and science in Terra are completely different from our own since when tachanka tried to explain the recipe for his bullets the R&D department they had no idea what the hell he was talking about. So basically chemistry is different Enough that magic exist but not gunpowder which is kinda good cuz imagine if instead of the country of URSUS sending soldiers to chernonbog they just sent an intercontinental ballistic missile at the place and Called it a day

Wait a sec. Is there a follow up on the story past Do 8 ? I was wondering why it abruptly cut off with R6 team just walking off into the sunset, leaving a lot of questions open. I thought EX stages dont include more story content (since I usually do just first 3-4 and dont care about the rest, being farily new and my squad not yet where it needs to be).
also apparently the reason why current R6 squad damage isn't that lethal considering the guns strength compared to terra guns is the ammo they're using, just read the files and it seems they're using makeshift ammo that's at most half effective of what their usual calibre can do. They're still using the gun they brought from earth but modified slightly to accept special ammunition that mimics earth ammo
Since we would soon get Darknights memoir re-run do you plan on covering the giant skeleton built within Rhodes Island? There aren't any (current) pieces of information that explain it's perpouse, but it gets mentioned once within the DM event and it's also constantly referenced whenever you use your base. (Examples: the nerve cells on the dormitories & HQ, the spine when you use the second menu, and the skeleton at the warning message whenever you want to leave your base) My personal theory about this is that people in Tera don't know how to properly build buildings (as stated in one of Ash's trust files) so they hunt down Behemoths/Leviathans and build their cities within their bodies.

I think humans most likely immune to oripathy since the r6s squad able to communicate both non and infected civillians and their bodies dont seem to have any damage after getting exposure with originium

Considering we yet don't have armies with guns, we can assume that either: 1. Information about Rainbow squad's weapons did not leak anywhere, not even on Rhodes. 2. There is no way to produce gunpowder on Terra.
It's weird because weapons in Arknights is significantly different than our world, being that it is mostly generated through magic stone and such. We however uses Powder and chemicals that otherwise beyond the technology that they possesses, In Terra, people are figuring out how to extend and utilize Originium the most efficient way, but never actually thought of other existing chemical. On the other hand, Originium actually went and had actually been in Earth (If you consider R6 Outbreak to be Originium leak), it causes chaos and creatures mainly human turned into abominations. Like imagine this, you can reserve your arts/magic/mana for something else while just blasting shrapnel onto the enemies, it's a groundbreaking feature that team R6 have brought to Arknights, Those who don't have the capability to handle arts now can be equipped with essentially the same type of weapon but a minor tweak.

In a way, yes. As I understand it, the "guns" of Terra require the user to have a certain level of Arts ability, so someone with low or even no Arts ability will have no chance wielding them. That, and the manufacture of the ammunition for said weapons is extremely costly. Earth-based guns, however, anyone can point and shoot.
Guns in Terra is like a relic. Only people with a good level of arts control can use it. While r6s guns are more versatile and is not limited by magic. Meaning anybody can use it. Which is why it's dangerous for terra world
I think the guns power are overestimated, primarily because the weapons themselves because the weapons were gutted to make them effective for usability. Ease of use is where the general danger is as well as the fact the engineering department didn’t really do much besides reconstruct the guns to use originium based Materials. Even Closure thinks the costs of production actually out weigh the benefit so mass production is unlikely especially since trade routes to gather material are far more harsher than our own world. Rhodes Island isn’t unfamiliar with having tech other countries don’t commonly use airships for one while known aren’t widely used for some reason have you ever wondered why?
From ash's file, it says that they've managed to recreate her rounds, but it was so work taxing and concluded that "it's much easier to use arts". I think the world here has relied too much on originium already, and that arts is a common thing that these weapons aren't really an ace, but is still possibly an additional method of destruction. That's why kaltsit doesn't want people to investigate. She feels knowledge of another world without oripathy can be dangerous, since travel there is clearly possible. Here, she tries to nip the bud

interesting theory Actually, This kind of comment is briefly mentioned by Vulcan, the defender operator. But as Tachanka's profile about trying replicate Rainbow team's bullet and its effort, that doom-liked event can be hardly happened in circumstance of Orginium based society and so on. Maybe If they find out how use 'clean' Orginium arts and manufacture it, It also could be happened, too. However... we already know that's too good to hear, as same as 'clean radioactivity stuff'.
I remember using the argument that "the world is different in the sense that saltpeter, charcoal and sulfur wouldn't work for black powder" but after the event maybe it does work since the bullets utilize modern gunpowder with nitrocellulose as a base then nitrated and treated with nitric and sulfuric acids. With how smart the doctor is rhodes island could reverse engineer it and mass produce it given that the r6 team technically part of RI.
Because there is no such thing as gun powders in Terra. I remember it seeing somewhere that R6 actually ran out of powder-based ammunition, and had to modify their guns to shoot Originium rounds (which is a lot weaker than gun powder ammo) During Jessica's training with Franka, it was mentioned that Angels are naturally gifted to operate Art in form of a gun. Simply put, anyone in Terra can easily operate a gun-powder gun, but not so much with Originium gun
I disagree RL could help millions of infected if they used R6's tech. reunion wouldn't have been much of a problem if the citizens were armed. guns are dangers tool but they are wonderful equalizers.
Problem is not only citizens can use it. But knowing the amount of bullshid Terran face everyday. The existence of earthling type guns could cause massive chaos and change the war type in terra. Latarennos will face a lot of threat now that their technology is copied but a far better version of itself. Ursus might mass produced it and become an even more powerful military. They'll try to mix up arts magic on the bullets as well.
Im pretty sure that the way it's written, closure and the engineering department tried their best to reverse engineer it, but because chemistry is differrent in arknights, they only able to make them to a quality that satisfy the R6 operator
It's not that chemistry is different, but Arknight chemistry is lagging behind. Because everything in Arknight is derived from Originium or is Originium-based. Which is why Terran guns don't use primer or gunpowder, but Originium Arts to shoot the bullet. Essentially, while Arknight looks like a sci-fi setting, it's actually a fantasy setting that is just dress up as sci-fi.

It's very interesting how Arknights handled a cross-over event realistically. This is like the real-life equivalent of anime characters Isekai'ing their way into our world, bringing _real_ magical weapons and spells with them. Some people would probably go, "Wow cool! Magic!" but the implications would be *terrifying.* War-lords and scientists alike would be panicking to capture them and figure out how magic works, so that they could use them to make military weapons. And if their secrets got out, the entire world would have to either adapt or perish, to the new level of destruction that would surely follow.

Most people here say the science and periodic elements of Terra is different from Earth. However, going to Siesta Event there is a volcano, which we can extract iron and do some chemistry to end up products like nitrocellulose. But yes if this wasn't the case then theres higher chance that chemistry in Terra is probably outdated compared to Earth

However I suspect reason is that sulfur is usually found contaminated by Originium. The world building of Siesta proves that volcanoes where sulfur would be found can cause Catastrophes. It might be considered a waste product of mining and too hazardous, pointless, and expensive to extract to study.

I think the inhabitants of terra still hasn't discovered gunpower since most mining company focuses on mining originium. Also since there's a catastrophe for like every 1~3? Months? Mining won't be as smooth for to discover new substances than ours.
Not as much mining, as it's some chinese dude in the past that mixed sulfur ore with burnt wood, honey and some oxidant trying to create medicine, thus "inventing" the Gunpowder...
T'is easier to imagine an accident like that wouldn't have occurred in Terra, people won't discover an incendiary/explosive substance as reliable/stable/easy to carry as gunpowder, and thus relied on the magic metal powder instead...
The odd thing is, they do have advanced chemistry, producing products like polyester. One would think that they would've stumbled onto cordite long before ever mastering polyester production. Even without gunpowder, inhabitants of terra should've easily stumbled onto nitrate based explosives and recognized their value compared to the expensive, finicky, and toxic originium.
Also, luckily dr levi didn't teach some lads how gunpowder is made actually since levi is heavily invested on his "origimutants" research.

I really enjoyed this Collab. The story was actually pretty damn good. Especially when compared to collab in E7 which was going on at the same time and was so bad its hard to even call it a collab. Ahem, but I digress.
The story was really good, and while then ending was sorta lame considering that while every text scene was fairly long the ending one lasted just few lines and nothing of importance was said it was a bit dissapointing. But what I really like to think about it that Team Rainbow would share their knowledge and weapon tech with Rhodes Island tech operators and possibly they might recreate some of it. For example creating primitive gunpowder aint that hard if you have the right ingredients. And since they do have quite high level of tech, further rafining it to the same level as the one used in our weapons should not be hard. That way every operator of RO could carry a firearm that is not arts dependant. That would drastically shift the distribution of power in Terra ofc and would put them at risk of being assaulted by other organisations purely to obtain the technology. With that, each weapon would have to include a self destruct device in case it falls into the wrong hands. Same with other stuff. It was shown that the guys had mechanical skill regarding stuff like radio, car engine etc. All of that could be put to good use.
And best part is > If they could create a substitute for the originium technology, over time (it would take long, lets be real) spread it and thus reduce the originium dependancy, that by itself would decrease the need for it, thus reduce the amount needed to be mined and people getting exposed and infected. Yeah cool stuff.
Now ofc none of that will happen, this was just an Isekai collab of elite team in another world xd, but still its something cool to think about :)

That's pretty dang interesting but I have some disagreements with your conclusion. Basically I don't think it's possible for Team Rainbows Weapons to be duplicated in Terra. Rhodes Island isn't a hundred percent certain of this so they are acting on the side of caution. When it comes to the physics of arknights, we know that the laws of physics are different in isekai land. I don't think there's a suitable alternative to nitrocellulose in Terra just yet. The originium powder is a very poor substitute. Also it would be pretty simple to make compressed air guns, they're pretty lethal as well and with a tank you could fire bullets pretty rapidly, dunno why they haven't done that.
Also I would hazard a guess that unless they make gatling guns or some gun ships our firearms wouldn't be very useful. Arts will still be a necessity in combat and the precision sankta have over their bullets would outclass our own. But just a thought :)

Chemistry is one of a few branches the people in Arknights world didnt need to explore/develop. It exists on Terra just that nobody can create it with current knowledge.
The main reason for this is almost everything is fueld/produced with or by Originium fueld things/powers.
They never had a need to use something else because of Originium. Which is why when they find ancient artifacts like Rhodes Islands core structure or the Sargophagus they dont have any idears how it might work or how it does work because they never did research outside/withouth Originium in mind/work-process.
And we know it exists because of the Volcana Summer Event.
Majority of Terras lack/primative aspects of certain things comes down to Originium. Because of that they never had any needs to think outside of the box. Which is why they hit a wall everytime they face something supernatural or technological that works withouth/isnt related to Originium.

I think rather then tactical and power, what Rhodes island lack compared to armies is their sheer numbers.

Individual strength is much more of a factor in Terra than it is on Earth due to how originium interacts with the Infected, but in terms of sheer mass-producible implements for slaughtering the general masses with brutal efficiency gunpowder firearms are pretty terrifying precisely because our modern weapons technology is built upon the assumption that all people are weak fleshbags.
Also they apparently do not have breaching rounds that blow through fortified walls, which is something.
I want to know more about strength comparison of human and most terra race,the current event explain that sarkaz is physically stronger than average human,and they can even take a few bullet without backing down,and there's also skadi with her big sword and blaze with her strength.its seems like all race in terra just superior to human in some way

If our weapons (guns) are better than Arknight's guns than in theory humanity could defeat the Arknight's world in a war. Think about it some caster & other arts user like Eyjafjalla for example takes time for their skills to fully charge while a gun depending what kind of gun takes seconds to aim, fire & reload. And if your not convince keep in mind that guns are rare in the Arknight world while guns are very common in our world of many types heck our bombs are probably better than Arknight's bombs.

The scary thing is, chemical-based explosives such as gunpowder (especially black powder) are extremely easy to make.
You can literally make gunpowder with volcanic ash or iron pyrites (the rock iron is smelted from), burnt trees, and saltpeter is usually found with limestone, which is also common in nature. The current modern ratio of 75% nitrate,15% charcoal, 10% sulfur. It's wouldn't take long for someone to make the smokeless variant which requires nitrocellulose, (which is made also from sugar and sulfur).
Frankly, Team Rainbow should know how bullets are made, the chemicals that are used, and how to put them together and take them apart for emergency situations. I learned during my wildland survival safety course how to use a bullet to make a fire by pulling out the actual bullet, rolling up the powder and primer in tissue before striking it with a rock attached to a stick to make it explode in a pile of tinder. Or just igniting the powder with flint if you have it.

Where is that line about "the R6 style of bullets being not as lethal as they were on Earth" explicitly said? Conventional bullets being less powerful than arts-based ones makes a lot of sense while still being mass producible (and still having reason to keep it a secret).
I am seriously looking forward to the weapon analysis video, I'm glad the writers kept the character's arms grounded yet still powerful and diverse as arguably that carefully crafted freedom is what gives us so many unique operators.
Tldr, trying to investigate and going full detail in understanding Team Rainbow will be like studying aliens who work with different physics, and it will only be a waste of effort since there will be no guaranteed that we can understand them.

also apparently the reason why current R6 squad damage isn't that lethal considering the guns strength compared to terra guns is the ammo they're using, just read the files and it seems they're using makeshift ammo that's at most half effective of what their usual calibre can do.
They're still using the gun they brought from earth but modified slightly to accept special ammunition that mimics earth ammo

There aren't any (current) pieces of information that explain it's perpouse, but it gets mentioned once within the DM event and it's also constantly referenced whenever you use your base.
(Examples: the nerve cells on the dormitories & HQ, the spine when you use the second menu, and the skeleton at the warning message whenever you want to leave your base)
My personal theory about this is that people in Tera don't know how to properly build buildings (as stated in one of Ash's trust files) so they hunt down Behemoths/Leviathans and build their cities within their bodies.

Considering we yet don't have armies with guns, we can assume that either:
1. Information about Rainbow squad's weapons did not leak anywhere, not even on Rhodes.
2. There is no way to produce gunpowder on Terra.
It's weird because weapons in Arknights is significantly different than our world, being that it is mostly generated through magic stone and such.
We however uses Powder and chemicals that otherwise beyond the technology that they possesses, In Terra, people are figuring out how to extend and utilize Originium the most efficient way, but never actually thought of other existing chemical.
On the other hand, Originium actually went and had actually been in Earth (If you consider R6 Outbreak to be Originium leak), it causes chaos and creatures mainly human turned into abominations.
Like imagine this, you can reserve your arts/magic/mana for something else while just blasting shrapnel onto the enemies, it's a groundbreaking feature that team R6 have brought to Arknights, Those who don't have the capability to handle arts now can be equipped with essentially the same type of weapon but a minor tweak.

In a way, yes. As I understand it, the "guns" of Terra require the user to have a certain level of Arts ability, so someone with low or even no Arts ability will have no chance wielding them. That, and the manufacture of the ammunition for said weapons is extremely costly. Earth-based guns, however, anyone can point and shoot.
Guns in Terra is like a relic. Only people with a good level of arts control can use it.
While r6s guns are more versatile and is not limited by magic. Meaning anybody can use it. Which is why it's dangerous for terra world

I think the guns power are overestimated, primarily because the weapons themselves because the weapons were gutted to make them effective for usability.
Ease of use is where the general danger is as well as the fact the engineering department didn’t really do much besides reconstruct the guns to use originium based Materials. Even Closure thinks the costs of production actually out weigh the benefit so mass production is unlikely especially since trade routes to gather material are far more harsher than our own world. Rhodes Island isn’t unfamiliar with having tech other countries don’t commonly use airships for one while known aren’t widely used for some reason have you ever wondered why?
I think it's because of the Terran environment being violent. Natural disasters happen in the sky a lot so transportation to the sky is less effective

From ash's file, it says that they've managed to recreate her rounds, but it was so work taxing and concluded that "it's much easier to use arts". I think the world here has relied too much on originium already, and that arts is a common thing that these weapons aren't really an ace, but is still possibly an additional method of destruction. That's why kaltsit doesn't want people to investigate. She feels knowledge of another world without oripathy can be dangerous, since travel there is clearly possible. Here, she tries to nip the bud

But as Tachanka's profile about trying replicate Rainbow team's bullet and its effort, that doom-liked event can be hardly happened in circumstance of Orginium based society and so on.
Maybe If they find out how use 'clean' Orginium arts and manufacture it, It also could be happened, too.

I remember using the argument that "the world is different in the sense that saltpeter, charcoal and sulfur wouldn't work for black powder" but after the event maybe it does work since the bullets utilize modern gunpowder with nitrocellulose as a base then nitrated and treated with nitric and sulfuric acids. With how smart the doctor is rhodes island could reverse engineer it and mass produce it given that the r6 team technically part of RI.
If only the R6 members know how to make gunpowder bullets that consist of fermented "Shit and Piss".. namely saltpeter

Because there is no such thing as gun powders in Terra. I remember it seeing somewhere that R6 actually ran out of powder-based ammunition, and had to modify their guns to shoot Originium rounds (which is a lot weaker than gun powder ammo)
During Jessica's training with Franka, it was mentioned that Angels are naturally gifted to operate Art in form of a gun. Simply put, anyone in Terra can easily operate a gun-powder gun, but not so much with Originium gun

I disagree RL could help millions of infected if they used R6's tech. reunion wouldn't have been much of a problem if the citizens were armed. guns are dangers tool but they are wonderful equalizers.
Problem is not only citizens can use it. But knowing the amount of bullshid Terran face everyday. The existence of earthling type guns could cause massive chaos and change the war type in terra. Latarennos will face a lot of threat now that their technology is copied but a far better version of itself. Ursus might mass produced it and become an even more powerful military. They'll try to mix up arts magic on the bullets as well.
Im pretty sure that the way it's written, closure and the engineering department tried their best to reverse engineer it, but because chemistry is differrent in arknights, they only able to make them to a quality that satisfy the R6 operator
It's not that chemistry is different, but Arknight chemistry is lagging behind. Because everything in Arknight is derived from Originium or is Originium-based. Which is why Terran guns don't use primer or gunpowder, but Originium Arts to shoot the bullet. Essentially, while Arknight looks like a sci-fi setting, it's actually a fantasy setting that is just dress up as sci-fi.
