I would love a career where I can practice what I've studied, Industrial and Organisational Psychology, make a difference in people's lives and contributing to a better workspace.
I would love to work in a non racist and non misogynist workplace
If you're on the fence and you know it's just the fear holding you back, you're not alone! Fear is never a reason to stay stuck in life. Good luck! I know you'll succeed!
We're here for the positivity, James Fox! Thanks so much 🙏
Finding out of it's fear or something else is of major importance, time for a pro's and con's list comparing current situation vs desired situation/job offer.
I have been working at my current job for three years and dealt with the same low-pay rate, lack of appreciation, and it's frustrating. I'm ready to leave and head to greener pastures
I hated my old job so much that on Sunday nights I'd get so depressed that I'd actually cry.
My current situation😢
I hear you. Didn't bring me to tears but it ruined my Sundays thinking about going to work the next day.
lmao, that's actually pretty fucking funny but so real
Yeah, the only reason that I don't do the same on Sunday is that I now don't care anymore at all about the job.....if they fired me tomorrow I would simply say "thank you".
I never stay committed to a job. If something better comes along I will abandon ship and take that job. I always look for Easy, Friendly and Fun jobs not hard, dull or boring jobs.
I love my job, my coworkers. My manager is clueless and not in the loop, and it's why im ready to walk
This totally should get more views. Honestly, i didn't expect it, but it's quality content.
I was judgmental of this before watching; however these bullet points are brilliant! Thanks for enlightening us.
Wow 14/15 for me! I figure though that all businesses are just as bad and my only way out was either a government job or self-employment
Really appreciate this video. I was looking to find some reassurance after deciding to pack my first government job in council last week. I have a couple more weeks to go and will miss my amazing team, but due to health issues of my own and the unpredictability of enquires by some incredibly emotional meme bees of the public, had made me feel constantly unwell and anxious every minute of every day that I worked.
My team was amazing and the environment couldn’t have been better. Unfortunately I just needed to put myself first, after realising that my health, wellbeing and empathy for others is what counts. I could certainly be using those skills elsewhere.
All in all thank you for the advice. This video certainly made me realise that resigning for your job doesn’t just automatically make you a failure. Very much appreciated 🙏🏼
Another early red flag is a constant pattern of curve balls thrown at you due the company being unorganized
Hey Indeed, I can't say you thanks so much for all the help and this is a message of me for you from Brazil. Thank you :)
Thanks for watching, Vitor!
Your job should not make you feel like a slave, don’t ever try to hustle your way out of the day, don’t be over ambitious, no one will ever want to work with you
The first 2 mins summed it all up for me
