    The Stanley one alarms A/C if you’re less than ten 18 inches from a wire, what good is that?

    At 4:35 in it "found" the stud, however there was no stud behind it. Why is that?

    I have the exact stanley stud finder. I am just someone with no experience trying to hang a curtain rod in my bedroom. I am scared that I will electrocute myself... The AC light keeps lighting up wherever I put the stud finder anywhere near the window frame. Someone please help me.😞

    • @daP.A
      @daP.A  3 роки тому +3

      Make sure u hang the brackets on the studs. From one side of the stub to the other is 16 inches. The ac might be going off because it senses electric current, usually it's going down between wall studs or if across through the studs near the bottom. You should be ok I wouldn't worry too much about the ac going off. Just be careful. Use small screws nails if you can

    How do you figure out how thick the sheet rock is?

    • @daP.A
      @daP.A  Рік тому +1

      That's not he job is a stud finder. Stick a nail through the sheetrock where the stud is, until the nail hits the stud. Make a mark on the nail where it meets the sheetrock. Now measure with a measuring tape.
