    From the “T” sound final sound. Actually “ฌ” chaw cher is the one consonant that cannot be final sound.

    Another great video from Kruu Waree. Thank you! This is the best presentation of the changing final consonant sounds that I have seen and is another immediate winner just like the one on the 7 changing vowel forms. Both of these videos contain information that is vital to learning Thai in all four aspects of languages: reading, writing, pronunciation (speaking) and listening. Not many teachers even mention, never-mind focus on these essentials. This is a well-made instructive video and clearly laid-out methodically. It's like being present in your classroom. Not many native speakers can teach foreigners to speak their language but Kruu Waree is clearly an excellent teacher who has the talent and puts exceptional effort into lesson preparation. Well done again and congratulations. ขอขอบคุณอีกครั้งและขอแสดงความยินดี

      @@kruuwareeallaboutthai5363 Hello kruu! :) I saw that you replied to my previous comment over here and I thought you might come back to it sometime if I reply here.
      สวัสดีคะครู :) I have a doubt about a word. I hope you get the time to answer it here(˘・_・˘)
      "Sentence" is called ประโยค in Thai. But the tones resulting in the second syllable of the word (โยค) confuse me a lot. I'm wondering why it is read low tone and not a falling tone since yaw yak is a low consonant, combined with a long vowel and we have a stop final at the end which should result in a falling tone according to all the rules I know about so far. The word doesn't even use any tone marker:[ Is this an exception, or what could be the explanation for this? Are there any other words like this in Thai?
      I found another word which is written like that and has a different tone than the rules:>
      It's sà-mùt (สมุด). The second part, mùt มุด,, has a low consonant to which a short vowel is applied. But then it has a stop final consonant at the end. Therefore, it should have been a High tone syllable. But it's instead low tone, which is confusing:[

      @@kruuwareeallaboutthai5363 Kop kun krub kruu waree... I just finished the ep2 of your tone rule. tomorrow I will watch the ep3 which is the low class consonant. You are right, the low class consonant tone rule is much harder than the other two rule. I can't wait to study sentence structures but I really have to study the tone rule first.
      I have been watching thai series (which is my stress reliever by the way). Although the translation is in correct grammar, I feel like it is not the exact translation of the dialogue. By watching Thai series, it gives me the desire to learn Thai language. But not only that. I want to work and live in Thailand as well. That is why I am working on something to be able to get a job in Thailand as a teacher. Although my cousin, who is living in Bangkok, told me I don't need to learn Thai language as early as now if I want to work in Thailand, I realy want to learn the language, to speak and to read, so that I'll be able to communicate easily when I go to thailand. I want to live in your traditions and culture but I still have so much to learn in terms of the language. I am glad your videos are there. they are so helpful. You explain each lesson very well.

So basically, you're gonna have to get yourself acquainted with different words and learn them. Khun Kruu Waree, do you have some tips to breakdown a long Thai sentence in words?

    • @kruuwareeallaboutthai5363
      @kruuwareeallaboutthai5363  5 років тому +9

      woo chang To breakdown the long sentence to words, you should practice to read Thai words ( one by one first). After that when you read the sentences. You have to practice to find one word in the sentence.
      One word combine with = initial consonant + Vowel + tone marks ( some words have or don’t have )
      Or
      One word combine = initial consonant + Vowel + tone mark + final sound
      ( for tone mark or final sound , some words have or don’t have)
      PS: one Thai word will be one Vowel only.
      Example
      ฉันทำงานใกล้บ้าน = I work nearby house.
      ฉัน = I
      ทำ = to do
      งาน = a work
      ใกล้ = near
      บ้าน = house

For "K" Khookai, khoo kuat, khoo khon, khoo rakang. And soo on.
    Example : Some of the words start with "N" create a 2 symbol น,ณ ? Is it possible to pick whatever we want in that symbol? As long as start with "N" sound? Same with other symbol teacher?

      You'll just have to learn what's used where and in which word. There's no way to 'figure this out' and you're not gonna choose anything. There are some rules but you just have to use them to read a word correctly when you see firsthand with these cases in it

      เป็น = (to) be [is/am/are]

    • @kruuwareeallaboutthai5363

      Initial consonant always in the front and for the final always at the back.
      Example
      งาน = a work , a job
      ง = initial consonant
      น = final sound
      Example sentences
      เรารักงาน = we love job
      เรา = rao
      รัก = rák
      งาน = ngaan
      U hv to practice to find one word , one word in the sentence.

      We foreigners (specially from the West) do not have a way to know. We put spaces between words but Thais don't so we never know where a word starts and where it ends. Unless you have a vast vocabulary and know the words. For beginners this is a total nightmare.
