He can come to the Sofia Marathon and run under a different name ;) The scandal this year (apart from the fact that the organizers did not ensure enough water for the whole duration of the event) was that the guy who finished 4th in the half marathon, Laban Cheruiyot, was actually another Kenyan runner, Alex Lagat, who tested positive at another half in September.
I have seen a race run out of liquids as the temperature was so high they had to stop 🛑 the marathon, 2011 Mickelson trail marathon was stopped 🛑 but the 1/2 was not due to 90% of the runners done. There were only 10 finishers of the marathon that year but, one of those was a runner allowed to go on because they had planned to run the runner had a small racing water pack on that the runner was going to use to run the race without using the water stations, so when it shut down at 100 F or 30 C getting to 110 F or 35 C for the day, rare in the Black Hills for first weekend in June as most of the time it is nearly freezing or is raining. They ran out of liquids even after pulling the marathon liquids for the finish.

Rather, as I read it, the traces of otherwise banned drugs were detected, after two marathon events no less, but a fake TEU was presented. Which rather tends to support the idea that doping is NOT common. If it was so easily masked, then a fake TEU would not be required, would it?
Not even just that.. in America, we’d look at making 50-100K a year as barely surviving.. that’s a fortune by Kenyan standards. Same in Jamaica.. and in Russia, they look at cheating like an actual competition and go to great lengths to hide it.
Fastest tour de France in history and nobody got caught. (Spoiler alert, it's never been dirtier.) You have to be severely negligent to get caught these days. Shouldnt have to wait for kiptum to be caught to see the obvious. He most likely won't be, and records will continue to fall. iykyk.
So does he have to pay back the money he earned? If not, then what is the incentive not to cheat? Shame? LOL. Kipchoge and Faith and other high profile Kenyan Athletes should be working harder to clean up Kenya or else people will just assume they too aren't clean.
yeah, his elocution here is contradictory "A ten year ban... is brutal, but it's also a good thing" Uh, which is it? I'm voting for "it's a good thing."
Whatever. How many other countries in the world would turn on their own athletes. The senior doctor at the hospital who confirmed that the receipts were false could easily have stated that they were true, and this would have gone no farther.
Guessing by that time the "senior" doctor was presented with the evidence and didn't really have a choice without looking like a liar. Maybe he was in on it and should have been taken down too. USA most definitely "turns" on its own athletes in your words. You are implying the cheating is OK here.
All countries that do well in track use something in one way or another. USA included. It's just that the Kenyans are not good at it. Their medical tech is not as advanced to help them get away with it. Another reason they get caught is the greed to make it into the Kenyan track team, which is very hard by the way, and they get sloppy in the process.

So he retires a rich man. Until the prize or appearance money is returned, justice has not been served.
I think the prize money has to be returned, who knows though
What medication was he taking?
Y’all think Kiptum gonna be caught?
I see problems for Kiptum.
Nothing new in the professional sports world.
10 years is not severe. Lifetime ban is severe
6-figure checks to runners from 3rd World Country's. What could possibly go wrong??
All from Kenya 🤯 something is wrong in Kenya? Get the doctors!!!
The solution to all of this is to force all competitors to live in a biodome.
A ten year ban in distance running is like taking a machete to the legs.
I would argue it's probably less painful.
What astounds me is these athletes would still be dominate. Just not as much.
10 years is fucking ridiculous, give em a a year or 2
Kiptum is next. Just watch. Any African runner has to be suspect.
Clean up the sport!
Unfortunately no elite runner is natural!
Kelvin is next
everyones on steriods- nate diaz
I really hope Kelvin doesn't piss dirty 🥶
Hope he does dudes obviously cheating
I think anything less than 2:15 is not 100% natural. Nooo way 2:02 is possible
it is through proper training and taking great care of your body
LOL that's NO EPO. LMAO...
He can still work as a pacer for Kiptum or Kipchoge.
Is it legal to use doped up Pacers? At this point their the only ones that can keep up with Kiptum.
Actually no. If he even trains with them, then they are subject to sanctions. He can't run with others, pace races, or even compete in other WADA controlled sports. He is out completely until 2032
@@adamchapman3358 In a race, no. If you're banned for doping you wouldn't be eligible to enter any races. Even pacers have to register an entry.
If you don’t dope you won’t cope
You do the crime you get the time.
If Lance got a life time ban, in cycling for lying, then this guy should too.
Every professional athlete uses steroids
Sounds like a lot of lance a stuff is going on in the sport
I note that this is NOT a case of drug use going undetected, as many seem to think is easily done. Rather, as I read it, the traces of otherwise banned drugs were detected, after two marathon events no less, but a fake TEU was presented. Which rather tends to support the idea that doping is NOT common. If it was so easily masked, then a fake TEU would not be required, would it?
ok im gunna say it. if you are a world class athelete and have TUEs- ur cheating
Just let them all juice. I'd love to see them run a 1:50 marathon.
The higher the money, the greater the propensity for cheating.
Not even just that.. in America, we’d look at making 50-100K a year as barely surviving.. that’s a fortune by Kenyan standards. They have tons of motivation to cheat and next to no one making sure they’re doing the right thing.
He most likely won't be, and records will continue to fall. iykyk.
Yeah, Lance never got caught through drug testing, someone had to turn him in.
They’re all doping, people need to stop being naïve…..
So does he have to pay back the money he earned? If not, then what is the incentive not to cheat? Shame? LOL. Kipchoge and Faith and other high profile Kenyan Athletes should be working harder to clean up Kenya or else people will just assume they too aren't clean.
I’d be surprised if anyone was natural.
Test tigst and kiptum
Don't test Tigst, give her a light squeeze and watch the juice pour out.
Everyone is doping bro
I a way I think people getting caught cheating is a good thing.
yeah, his elocution here is contradictory "A ten year ban... is brutal, but it's also a good thing" Uh, which is it? I'm voting for "it's a good thing."
He will participate in the enhanced game in 2024. 😉
Kenyan athletes cheating?! What a surprise
The Kenyans probably are, however, protective of their own, a running industry.
wow shocking
Just let them dope all the way up
As a Kenyan I think he got off easy...If you're caught cheating and there is glaring evidence of the same the purnishment should be swift and punitive....We already have some of the best athletes on the planet we dont need a few pretenders ruining chances for the hardworking athletes.
why is TRP Exclusive so gullible about high level running. is he unaware of the cheating via PEDs in sports? He ought know better. He always seems a bit surprised. weird. Love his content but seriously, take a look at all sports like cycling, lifting etc. omg; PEDs are the norm, bro
