This setting, and the two squadmates, have me just... (chef's kiss) Like, Wizards that act like a swat team? Snarky ones who constantly banter back and forth? Dude, I need an entire franchise of games just to enjoy this properly.
I love how Zan's wizard beard and pointy hat don't feel at all out of place in his spec-ops soldier design. It's clear from the get-go that this game has outstanding artistic direction.
I normally get exhausted by nonstop quipping but the specific style of writing they have here , I could listen to for hours. This was so hilarious and I scared the cats a few times with a loud HAW. When this comes out, I'd love to watch more. I'm invested in these wizardventures now
world war 4 was fought with rocks and sticks, because bullets are fast rocks and wands are sticks lol That definitely explains the reason why at 37:19 he comments about WW5 lol
Definitely a cool game. I'm wondering how powerful taking cover is though. The initial tutorial made it seem like it's 100% protection from a certain arc in the direction of the cover.
That is correct. It's very powerful, but also powerless against specific effects that hit areas instead. But rather than 'protection', they completely lose targeting on you.

You don’t necessarily have to be a good writer to make a good video game, but it sure does help. Very cute game!
navy seer, chronomancer spec ops, treant sniper, traffic warlock, freelance witch...

Wow, this game has great worldbuilding, well-written characters, and polished gameplay. And the visuals are good too!
The writing alone is enough that I'm wish-listing this game right now.
I'm only 13 minutes in and I already love this game, just for the dialogue.
the sarcastic commets before each breach has my laughing out of my chair.
"The building was on fire, and it wasn't my fault." - Harry Dresden, Professional Wizard
'Small Favor' a novel of 'The Dresden Files'
The humor in this game is absolutely glorious.

This gives me XCOM combined with Ghost Trick vibes. The writing is great and I love the art style.
The red string mechanic is hilarious and I love it.
