Veep is a very *robust* series.
Robust is MY word!
lol i caught that^^!! everyone binging Veep youtube videos knows this is comment appears first on another video!!
Robust. R o b u s t.
Ashes to ashes robust to dust
my favorite episode!
We have a guy in our office who over uses robust & it makes us all crazy.
'His head is too big for his body, but sometimes his body too big for his head.' Random black lady at Jonah's focus group. Had me dying.
and another woman goes 'he's the wrong shape' in a concerning way
@@Kawiatube The shape is wrong
Why add that she was Black..?
For specifity. Obviously. @@M-gd6ow
I’ll never forget “what are you looking at? jolly green jizzface!”😂
the worlds largest single cell organism is one of my favourite ways they described Jonah
I love 'the cloud botherer'
Sentient enema.
@@Volvican I legit chocked while eating food while uncle Jeff spewed that line. The funniest lines I've ever heard on television.
Jolly green jizzface
Jonah: "I'll keep my ear to the ground"
Amy: "be careful they don't pop on the way down"
"The cloud botherer" is my favorite/most underrated Jonah insult
Right? It was a rare, G-rated insult in the middle of obscenities. The contrast added punch
Came here to say that! And it's just rattled off on that list of names at the hearing
The fact that it's a clean insult makes it worst and that's why I it's my favourite Jonah insults 😂
@@brandonburum8279 Yes, it was a nice palate-cleanser to set up "Supercalifragilisticexpialidickcheese"
Most brutal insult ever: "You once said my mother should sell me to a child molester and use the money to have her tubes tied."
That's the kind of insult that could kill a man.
'You're not even your mom's favourite Jonah, Jonah' lol.
he's an only child🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆
Any discussion on Veep insults is incomplete without Congressman Furlong.
Seriously!
"I've been doing this since before your mother was throwing herself down the stairs belly-first!"
Furlong was so straight up brutal yet so hilarious
Agreed. Even though I found him to be the most grating overall, he should definitely be here
I like when Selina called Jonah "Jolly Green Jizzface" on the show after the meme went viral.
A meme ma’am
The visual that goes with 'the world's least fucked Geisha' will haunt you in its accuracy.
the brilliant thing about this insult and Selina's delivery is that geisha's aren't prostitutes but obviously Selina wouldn't know or care about that fact.
Veep deserves best writting awards for the insults alone
There's a separate interview for that.
Although I preferred the insults based the characters' behaviors rather than the actors' appearances. Those always seemed lazy.
You’d have to give awards to the cast since a lot of the dialogue is improv just like ianucci’s British version of veep “the thick of it”
@@jimmy2k4o No.
"monument to vaginal dryness" is a great way to describe Johan Ryan
"Jonah? Oh, the seven-foot mouth?" was one of my favourites.
Veep is brilliant. A must watch.
aye! Aye! Matey! VEEP is the best!
Underrated? With all those Emmys?
+PietrADI Can you be underappreciated when you win tons of awards that appreciate your quality?
I love Veep, but the last seasons gotten a bit too cringey imho. Just too horrible lol.
you know whats underappreciated? the walking dead! they never get nominated even though they have a stellar cast
The best Jonah insult of all is when Congressman Furlong said, "...And maybe you were too busy biting James Bond's cable car wire to realize..." That nearly killed me!
“Jonah with money, god almighty it’s like if Hitler could fly.” 😂😂😂
"The world's bitchiest mime" for when Gary rolled his eyes is the best one for me😹
What an amazing show! #Emmys!
Veep is the most slept on HBO show.
Define "slept on"...
HexMark12 ?????????
Slept on? Its popular af. There's far more slept on shows on HBO.
Most people aren't smart/sharp enough to keep up with the breakneck pace of the dialogue and the rapid fire genius insults. Veep is too smart for its own good.
@@CheerfullyCynical829 there also lots of subtle visual gags. And the characters no speaking often have brilliant reactions to what is being said.
Infinitely re-watchable
VEEP ain't a mult-Emmy winning show for no f*cking reason
I was in the audience for this, still one of my favorite memories and it got me to watch one of my now favorite shows.
"Steve Bannon looks like AIDS came down with a person."
(It's in quotes because it's somebody else's insult, but when I commented I couldn't recall whose. I've since remembered: Jessi Klein, when she was guest-hosting NPR's _Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me_ . )
YOU WIN!!! Was this a joke on the show?
No. Just thought it was worth sharing. See my edit above.
you mean to tell me that "cow eyes" was not in the script?! Cow eyes is my fave! I now like Reid Scott more than ever not to mention that his role, besides Julia's and Tim's, has one of the best characterization development in the show.
Lmao that’s so natural
I love that Reid looks so proud of it, too. xD
The VEEP writers must have been proud watching this interview.
Goddamn Julia Louis-Dreyfus keeps getting hotter
It's really like a magic power. I never not noticed this over the years.
The only reason I'm still sane waiting for Game of Thrones is because of Veep and Silicon Valley
Are you me?!
Veep and Silicon Valley had better endings than Game of Thrones. At least, according to most of the Internet.
On the bright side, at least you had 'Veep' and 'Silicon Valley' because we now know how the 'GoT' ending went.
Brilliant show, wonderful cast.
OMG Cow Eyes!, so perfect
Which is a Far better name than "Loose Seal"
I understood that reference :P
Best cast, Best writing, Best show ever.
Still the best show on television and despite it winning a ton of Emmys and being generally well known, its still fairly underrated. For being in season 5 or 6 or whatever they're in, its as consistent as ever and thats so rare these days. Its a testament to them and its a testament to the writing. And yeah, its very unfortunately Jonah can't be there. Just looms to large over the show to be missing, but I'm happy Gary Cole and Kevin Dunn are there.
Dan Bakkedahl's character is easily the best and most insulting person on the show. He steals every scene he's in.
No , no. Put your pinky to your lips when you say it.
Cade Jackson Totally agree. 'Furlong' is the funniest character on the show.
I love how Jonah's nit here, when his character literally gets the worst of the insults. There's literally a scene where a court justice is listing off insts that people have called him
Gary Coles expressions are EXACTLY Kent. Love it!
"Like someone melted play-doh over a flag pole"
The best show... VEEP that is... that's all I have to say.
Nope. Its silicon valley.
Nope, its VEEP. Infinity.
VEEp does not have the level of detail like Silicon Valley.
Not underrated. Underrated shows don't win the amount of awards that VEEP has won.
I know what you mean---it's well-respected in the industry because of the brilliant writing and cast, but I don't think it gets enough raves from the public as it should.
It’s so cool how much they obviously like each other.
Where's Jonah Ryan? You can't talk about insulted experience without Jonah. He's the punchbag of Veep. No one is get more insulted than him. They ridicule about his height every time. I almost feel sorry for Tim, the actor.
Did you write this comment before watching the video?
LOL Damn it. Yes I did. I still think it's a shame that they couldn't invite Timothy Simons.
Isn't that the mark of a good actor though? The actor makes you feel like he's a d-bag POS
@@CharlieAUS we still need to know. They didn't give us a reason.
This is one of the very few shows that gets better and better in time, the last 2 seasons are absolutely hysterical
Which is the best episode?
sam richardson a brilliant addition to veep.
nic boyd ikr! Richard is hilarious and maybe the only genuinely good chracter in the show
Epileptic Picasso painting is my favorite description for Jono Oh no
I don’t know what it says about me if I’m more attracted to the character Dan more than the real life Reid.
Amazing series , amazing cast. I'm shocked they improve some of the jokes, just hilarious.
Conan and them together is pure gold.
How I Met Your Mother, Veep, Friends, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, Parks and Recreation, so many great ensemble shows.
its true that this show prob has the best 1 liner insults lol
you get atleast 3 or more per minute
I could watch them do this for an hour.
psa for all you veep fans, I highly recommend also checking out The Thick of It, which is the original British show that Veep is partially inspired from, and its (sort-of) spin-off movie In The Loop, both of which are also from Armando Iannucci. If you love Veep you won't be disappointed by Malcolm Tucker et al.
Roger Furlong is missing here. The best insults were by this esteemed Congressman.
I'm gonna check out this show now. They seem like funny people
Hilarious show!!
no other comedy comes even close nowadays
Reid Scott actually showed up! 😂
Love them all! Great show!
"We don't want to give ammunition to that walking silo" is one of my favorites...
"Cloud bother" made me cry laughing
Sentient enema is still my favourite for Jonah. I still crack up at that.
“You shaved Sasquath” to Jonah is my favourite.
What about Viagra prohibitor? lol
Gary Cole and his character Kent Davison are among my favorites on the show, of many!
Reed Scott is a legend
1:42 This one made me spit out my coffee XD XD
The insults on this show are the most epic profoundly funny! They are so sharp!
Great show! Are there numbers dropping though? Why did they feel the need to have so many cast members on at the same time?
My favorite Jonah insult is “80-story Skyraper”
I think I'm going to watch the show now. I've been hearing good things about it.
please, do it!
Like, "you're a translucent fire giant"
The first and only time I ever dyed my hair, I arrived at the office in the morning, and the manager said, "You look like Elvis Presley... just before he died."
Seen every episode. One of the best shows on tv right now !!
The writing is brilliant 👌🏼👌🏼
Pile of elbows is my favorite
Best Jonah nickname: Supercalafragilisticexpialidickcheese.
The three funniest characters weren’t even their. Uncle Jeff, Senator Furlong and Will.
"It is the container... for the testicles, yes?"
I'd have liked to have seen a few of the writers there too - even if that wasn't possible at the very least they could have invited Armando Ianucci, considering he created the thing and is one of the greatest comic minds Britain has produced in the last couple of decades. Since he's presumably responsible for a lot of the insults he should have been there. Excellent video nevertheless - these are the kinds of interviews that Conan's best at.
Has anyone seen Sue, the secretary, on any of the shows that have all these cast members? I have not.
love my daily dose of coco!
Where's Jonad he gets the best insults
Wow nvm guess I should've waited
I think the best would have to be when they are on trial and they start reading the Jonad files. I actually felt bad for Jonah during that scene
Jonah absolutely needed to be here for this question.
You know that actor must be really funny when they are not very attractive and still make it big. Julia of course is the exception to this rule
I wish veep would come back. That was a great show
zach woods said that!?
The Cloud Botherer
I quite like “sentient enema”
When Julia calls you names you can't even get offended, it's too much class
I need to start watching Veep.
Iomar1975 have u started
lomar1975 If you haven't in the past 2 years, GET STARTED NOW! Just as hilarious as Seinfeld and Curb.
Is that the guy from Mulholland Drive between the two women.
It's a shame that they didn't invite the actress who played Minna..
Insults? Where is Roger Furlong!!!!!?
He's an important character in the show. He's always popping in. Sadly he's a underrated character it seems.
@@larrylindgren9484 Yeah!
The show was beyond genius.
Cow eyes is so devastating for some reason
Lemme just say this one more time! Veep Best show ever!
Congressman Bird Obstruction.
in whatever context this group of people always make me laugh!!!!
Love them and the show.
i love this show
I love this cast and I love this show.
I've never watched this show before..... but now I feel like I have to lol.
tclass99 you won’t regret it lol
wtf this made me wanna watch veep they seem genuinely hilarious
i watching that episode with the insult of the paddington bear and honestly i thought that was accurate
Love Veep! Amazing acting, luv you all.
so good
How is Jonah not here for this "insults" interview????
CLOUD BOTHERER HAHAHAHA
