- FISHING FLORIDA. How to fish new water and catch sheepshead trout snapper and shrimp in Jacksonville FL ST. Johns River. In this video we launch from NAS Jacksonville and cast net our own shrimp to fish for the day. This is new grounds for us so it was def a learning experience! We ended up running from the up to the creeks on the North side of town. It was a very productive day!

Try Nassau Sound, plenty of variety out there, there is also several fishing holes out there. Also, try sister creek. I’ve caught everything from Flounder to Mangrove Snappers, and redfish.

Hello guys I'm new to your Channel. I'm not going to say where you're at but if you get some clams and fish in side the rocks in the corner where the tree is you will catch some of the best catfish you've ever had I fished there when I was a kid you used to could walk from the back of the building's out to the rocks where you're sitting is a sandbar when the tide gos out.my biggest from there was 43pounds love you videos very educational very informative and thank you for your service to the country God bless you both

My dad lives on Pottsburg Creek right by exchange island. I’ve fished that island several times and it’s always been hit or miss for me, some days I’d do great and some days I couldn’t buy a bite. Never thought about sheepshead fishing the Mathews bridge but now that I’ve seen y’all catch one there I’m gonna have to try it out. Great video guys!
+Jonathan Klein I had some buddies catch some snook in Pottsburg. I hear it’s really good. Yea funny thing was that was in like 2nd of water too.

@SlotCityFishing Yes sir they run up into the St Johns we used to catch them by the dozens on the Mandarin side of the bridge. Even up into Doctors lake and Black Creek.
i live on doctors inlet and catch reds all the time

Nah it’s dark water. Always like this in the St. John’s it’s tannin from plants
