That's the thing, why do you people buy this if you don't have fitness features/gps/lte on? Do you have money to burn or what? If you don't need them, you could get other watches. Mine lasts only a day because I actually USE it. 1 and a half day tops.
So buy a smart watch with a superb colour screen and turn it off, built in GPS turn it off....may as well go back to clockwork. Alternatively put your S3 gear on its wireless dock for an hour every two to three days and enjoy its full functionality.
got mines yesterday evening. battery drains fast when using heavily as im setting it up, experimenting and getting to know my device. fully charged once and have use 50% of the new charge within several hours. lasting for days is B.S. if ur a power user

My Samsung S3 lasts 3 days with NO problem. You have to turn a lot of features that normally are not used. If you turn ALL features on any electronic device, naturally the battery will not last very long. You have to use common sense. So making a statement like yours is nonsense.
I dont get what the big deal is about having to charge it, just keep ALL the fun smart features of the watch on, (which is pretty much the point of buying it in the first place) & put it on the charger every nite while you sleep, whats the big deal if you have to charge it every nite or every other nite or WHENEVER, otherwise just buy a normal plain jane watch, silly!

Then you won't be able to use it as a sleep tracker. What I'd do is to charge it for an hour before sleep and between the time I sleep and go to work in the morning. That way I could probably use it the whole day with everything going full blast. Just a thought.

You're using that AWFUL Facer app. Granted, it has some fantastic watch faces available, but that friggin' app needs to be optimized for Tizen. I get 3-1/2 days with my Frontier - - screen off, WiFi on, NFC, making calls, replying to texts, etc. Number one tip for getting more battery life? DON'T USE THE FACER APP.
It is well known and reported that the Facer app does kill your batery life...I was going to give it a try, but after reading everyone's complaints about their battery being killed...I decided not to install it.
Facer is draining your battery, I had that problem. When I uninstalled, everything worked fine again. I use a dark watch face for saving on battery, but I have everything else on Auto heart rate etc. Use SHealth alot as well. I get a little over 2 days of battery life. The point of getting the G3 is the colors ECT. So what you have to charge the battery everyday like your phone. The G3 charges so fast, it doesn't mean an hour without your watch. Charge it while you take a shower, problem solved.
Its beats the whole purpose of having a smartwatch like u turn your gps Off you turn the colors into grescale you limit the functionality no AOD, Too much of that n i would be thinking of getting a regular watch instead😂
Let's turn off all the things that make it what you bought it for, color screen, etc. and you have a watch that is off and a battery that is full if you need to take out the battery and use it to power something else. LOL

Yes. Mines last 4 days and even more if I turn it off at night and turn it on in the morning only when I am going to use it.
Mine makes it maybe a day and a half at best. Wake up at 7-8am when i put it back on the charger it's usually between 30-40%.

I have the S2, and in Flight Mode i get up to 6 days battery life. Only really connect to my phone to up-date watch faces.

That's ridiculous. On a Skagen Connected where a little button battery lasts 6 months it counts steps. How can counting steps take so much battery?
