Alright, few things. One: yes, we all know its not possible for this battery to be 1,350mah at all when the original is 380mah. That would make the battery you're using a little more than three and a half times larger than the stock one. Anyone who watched the video can tell that is compelte bull. Two: at around 4:35 you start to take off the power and back button ribbon cable from the side of the watch. Everyone, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. If not, you can end up ripping the ribbon from the top off of the motherboard. If this happens, you will need to solder it back onto the motherboard. If you have no such knowledge, youre SOL. Three: while the capacity of the replacement battery is a compelte lie, the tutorial on how to replace it is still pretty informative. Just follow along and be extremely cautious of that power and back button cable. You can end up doing exactly what I did and rip it from the motherboard, thus making it so you still can not turn on the watch even after replacing the battery.
Hi! Thanks for your comment! I see your point. So we were not only replacing the battery we tested it in a few simple tests at the beginning and after 7 months. We didn't have the tools to test capacity but anyway all our tests were legit. And yes, the repair is always about being extremely carefull no doubt. In this case it was so difficult to attach the battery and buttons cables because the tip-holes were too small.
Thank You for the great video! Just did my replacement and everything works like normal. Sadly 2 screws were so badly corroded that one broke in half and the other i may or may not have just pulled through the plastic. As i am only delaying the inevitable until i can get the new S7 on sale it still works perfectly for me!
the reviews on the website are not very good. people say that it doesn't have 1350mah and that it lasts more than a day charged... can you do a measurement or something? to know if I buy the normal one or this model
I call BS on this batteries capacity. Label is def false advertising. Everyone should stick with the 430 mah battery on Amazon for around $12-$14 cyber deals as low as $10 with prime membership right now. 430 mah is a good upgrade then the stock battery which is 380 mah. There is a reason you can't find this battery sold on Amazon because it's a scam.
@@The.Governor Also, if the 1350 mAh battery actually was that big, it would be physically larger than the watch itself. It would be great though it you were able to get it in there, this watch would last for a whole week before needing to be recharged. Sadly, our battery technology has not advanced that far yet.
You can literally just push them back into place. However, be extremely careful not to do what I ended up doing. The top of that ribbon is soldered onto the motherboard. If you end up ripping it off, it will need to be resoldered back onto the board. If you have no soldering skill, the power and/or back button will not work.
Hello, tks for the video.... I changed the battery yesterday, and everything worked. The only problem was when I put it to charge, it is not charging the battery. What can it be? Thanks
same here, it use to show some starting problems, then I found a trick, that you place the watch on charging and then once it shows, percentage, press the power button, keeping the watch on dock, it use to get started, but now even that is not working ;( :(

My personal experience, your mileage may vary. I had a similar issue but I 'think' Samsung pushed an update that reconfigured the power-on function. I have to depress both buttons to power the watch on and it's been working fine for me since. The 'power button' alone will still bring up the menu to power off the device though. This is why I think there's an update that snuck past me (my watch auto updates in the background).
@ That is more likely.. The last update the watch got was a small security and stability update in August 2022. And that update did nothing for the functions etc.
