this is a decent replica weight wise and action, trigger pull is nice/crisp. only couple things disappointed in, the hammer doesnt have a half cock, like a regular 1911-A1, its not a huge deal. But i had an older KWA airsoft full metal 1911 imported no orange tip..green gas, that had half cock, and and even better trigger, similar weight. Was airsoft however. No longer made.
this spring field is good. The barrel, oh yeah..its way to chrome/shiny, so i sanded that off and painted it with a much more realistic steel color with Tamiya paint, looks much more like the real springfield 1911 milspec barrel now. Not super flashy chrome fake looking
I really like the look and the ability to tear it down like the original. Very nice.

Thanks for the overview! I have an Elite Force / Umarex airsoft version of a 1911, and it's pretty much exactly the same as the Springfield Armory, including complete field stripping. Your overview definitely hit all the pros and cons spot on, so for anyone watching this, it matches with my experience with the airsoft version of the pistol.
I'll add that the blowback is pretty impressive and close enough to the 1911 firearm that it's good for practicing sight acquisition, etc. Like your video said, the biggest negative is loading the magazine. I load the same way as shown in the video. The airsoft pistol is great, so now I'm going to have to get the bb version next!
So it tears down like a 1911 with reverse plug and not like a GI type 1911 with conventional spring plug and barrel bushing. Grips look a little odd, but big thing is are they real 1911 grips and able to be changed out with good looking grips. My real 1911 I have GI spec walnut grips and love them.
I think the co2 Cylinder's radius sticks out too much and the back of the grips have a hole to allow for that. So real grips would probably have to be hollowed out a little bit inside on the back.

Get a 177 pellet loader and fill it with bbs works very nice

I just got one great gun but my mag was get stuck every time so I got my self a flat screaw drive an I put it under mag an turn to right an mag will come right out but got to hold button on it an then turn mag. An mag will come out if u get a jam or stuck I gave 150 four mine love it but just my mag is a pain but after I've bin doing that no problems an it is a new gun dam great gun omg I put ten peace of card board an man it went threw all 8 of them dam great gun put oils on bbs an then shoot an oil mag with motor oil an man she'll be powerful it's bad ass I love mine other than the mag but if u do what I said u are good I get 50 shots out of one CO2 every time it kicks. Mine does an it's got the power wish they make mag better black work bests in it make one in a pellet gun I love mine but don't like the grips or mag. But dam great gun mine hold 15 bbs Hillsboro Ohio Jody Holcomb

Max speed of 310? PASS,! Stupid waste of money. I have 2 Daisy's do 500 for way less $$ and shoot fine once you get used to triggers.
