It looks like the manual on EcoFlow's website (dated April 23rd, 2024) differs from the one in your hand :(
They removed items number 4 and 11
Which is butts, because I'd love to charge my DPU at 500w from the alternator charger.
Hopefully they clarify the discrepancy soon!

Thanks for making this vid/Short. So I have the River 2 Pro and prefer to take it on most van trips instead of my heavier “home” station. You said this EF Alternator Charger hack of yours can “charge any power station that can handle 45V +. The Solar port xt60i. Can only tolerate: “220W Max, 11-30V, 13A”, so this won’t work according to your short. Any work arounds? Or could I just make sure the wattage flowing ON THE ECOFLOW 800WATT CHARGER APP is set to no more than 220 watts?
On LONG vanlife trips I would perhaps take my Delta 2 max and I know I can max out the Alternator Charger then, ofc I would have to change the output port cable to what comes in the box, which does sound like a pain.
Wonder how I could make that an easier swap.
Was also curious about what it would take to have that Alt Charger charge my EF R2P and then use that to charge a backup LiFePO 12v 100 or 200ah battery. If you know how I could do all that I’d be happy to pay you $100 for this information written or in video.
Thank you for your experimentation and sharing results.

Hi, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, it wouldn't work with the R2P because the Charger puts out a constant 40v, which is too high for the R2P input. You could charge the R2P with a normal car plug though and get a little over 100 Watts without needing the Alternator Charger at all.

@brsm Based on the most recent spec sheet from ecoflow. The River 2 Pro will accept 50v on the dc side. So while this would work, it would still be limited to 220w.

I'm thinking of buying the new Segway Cube power station which has Solar Input: Maximum Voltage: 60V DC so I think should work with the EcoFlow 500w charger? You mention a custom cable to connect - could you give more information on that please? What connections/cable etc.
    Thank you

I did a couple short videos on this if you check my channel. I'll do a longer one soon once I get a custom cable working well.

@@brsmI’m confused why only 500watts if it’s an 800w charger?
