What is an engine overhaul

This video roughly covers what is involved in an engine overhaul. I do hope it familiarises someone who is told they need an engine overhaul and isn't sure what's involved in the process. Due to the state of the motor which is essentially a spare motor, I've decided not to overhaul it as it is a spare motor and rather leave it in bits in storage for spares

I usually do, I've built a few motors in the day but not too many and a while ago, working on building up more equipment i.e engine crane etc to start doing it on my own again, until then I do have a well priced and brilliant mechanic to do the engine work. This is a spare motor off the Isuzu build I've been tinkering with and basically stripping and boxing up for spares
